3 Perfected Decades

3 Perfected Decades
It turns out that a small thing that is considered trivial, it can change the future.

This morning when Dad just woke up, he said his head hurt. Then dad vomited. I was so panicked when I saw her. Then I explained that it was common for people to have mild concussions.

" Mom take it easy, I'm fine." I said while rubbing my mother's back.

" Why don't you be careful when you're walking on dirty, slippery ground?" Mother even nagged the father who was lying weak.

When I heard my mother's nagging, I wasn't angry. But he smiled happily. I was surprised to see such a reaction from my father. Because in my past life, I'd be angry if anyone talked about it. Moreover, this, the mother even nagged him when he was lying sick.

" I'm grateful I'm still safe. Fortunately, I obeyed the King's words yesterday. Wear boots and raincoats. And carrying his wand. The road there is very muddy and because the ground there is red soil. So when it rains, the road is very slippery and a little difficult to walk properly if not using a climber's stick." Dad told me about the situation there.

" But Dad how did the story fall into the abyss?" I wondered, because it was different from in my past life. Although both fell into the abyss, but in this life, you can survive.

" The condition of the path there is a bit sloping, and accidentally there is a beehive that was nudged by the stick that Dad brought. So the bees came out of the hive." I laughed when I told him about the incident.

" Oh, yeah. How's Budi doing? Because last thing I remember, the bees were all over it." I think my father laughed because he remembered the nurse who accompanied him this time.

" The king doesn't know, Dad! Because last night we took Dad to the city hospital for further examination!" Said me and mother also nodding, confirming the words I just said.

" Love if she's up to why." Dad felt guilty, clearly visible from the look in his eyes.

" In that case, the King will find out the state of your co-worker!" I said because I could not bear to see how sad it was.

" Thank you King!" Father said with a smile to me.

" Yes Dad." I said before leaving the room

I went back to the hospital, which was yesterday where Dad got first aid treatment.

" I'm sorry, would you ask a patient named Budi, who was treated in the room?" Ask me for the information section.

" Which Lord?" Said the woman on duty.

" The crash victim on the brink, yesterday!" I said again.

" Oh, the victim who suffered a bee sting near the ravine yesterday?" The woman said again.

" Wait a minute, yeah. I'll see first." The woman checked the patient's name.

" Budi sir is being treated in second-class Melati's room." The answer.

" Thank you." I said and resigned. And I also headed towards the room Melati, Budi's room treated.

I saw a patient sleeping in a gurney and turning his back on the door. I tried to approach her, with a step slowly afraid to wake her up. I stepped up near the gurney, apparently she wasn't sleeping. Because when he realized my presence, he immediately turned his body.

" Are you Mr Budi? Father's friend?" I am afraid of wrong people.

" Are you Doctor King's son?" The young man asked me back.

" My condition has improved only swelling that has not disappeared. What about the situation, Doctor?" Asked with a slight grimace, it seemed like the swelling on his lips was making him feel pain.

" Dad's condition is better, though he still has a lot of rest." I answered while helping her wake up, when I saw her struggling when she tried to get up.

" Have your legs been hurt?" I asked as she moved her legs with a face grimacing in pain.

" Yes, my leg suffered a minor fracture." He pulled up his blanket and I saw his feet with a brace.

" It's okay?" I was worried that it would be fatal in the future.

" It's okay, my friends and family are just too dramatizing." He answered with a small laugh while grimacing.

" Thank God then. I'm glad dad and you're okay." I said with a smile.

" It is fortunate that the residents were quick to call for ambulances and SAR teams. So that we can be saved immediately. It turns out that it's also good that Doctor King gives important numbers to the citizens." Said Mr. Budi.

I did not expect that the paper containing the emergency phone numbers could save his father and friend from death, because they could be helped immediately. Probably the cause of my father's death in my old life, because it was too late to get help.

" I agree, it's best that the citizens know the emergency numbers." I said as I looked he was smiling.

It turns out that a small thing that is considered trivial, it can change the future. I am grateful that my actions this time, can bring a big change to my family's life.

" Then Mr. Budi, I want to say goodbye first. May you get well soon!" I said before leaving the room.

*****

I went home first, after returning from visiting Mr. Budi earlier. His intention to bring clothes and other necessities for mother. Because now I have to wait for my father in the hospital.

" King brother, how is father?" The Queen's voice surprised me, to the point that I jumped and my heart was pounding.

" Loh, Queen why don't you go to school?" I asked when I saw the appearance of the Queen who wears house clothes.

" The Queen has asked Ani for help, ask for permission not to go to school. Because you want to see dad's situation?" Ask with teary eyes.

" Dad's fine. Now the mother is waiting in the hospital." I answered while taking care of my mother's clothes and equipment.

" What exactly happened to you?" Now the Queen's tears are falling down her cheeks. And I approached him too.

" Dad fell slipping into a shallow abyss. You take it easy, 'cause I'm just a mild concussion. And it'll heal quickly." I said while wiping away the tears on her cheeks that were now reddened.

" Did Grandpa know you were in the hospital?" The question from the Queen made me a little stunned, when I remembered Grandfather from the father's side.

*My father and grandfather had a less harmonious relationship. That's because the nature of the two of them are both stubborn and do not want anyone to budge if they talk again, plus their point of view in everything is opposite to each other. My father, who had a more modern outlook and saw opportunities in the future, preferred to do new things. In contrast to my Grandfather whose way of thinking is colossal, always hear what has become an ancestral tradition in his life*.
