3 Perfected Decades

3 Perfected Decades
Artefacts Compiling

*I opened the Imperial box, my son who works as an archaeologist. And when I opened it, it turned out that there were only a few fragments of artifacts* inside*.

*Then I assembled the artifact, out of curiosity. And I finally managed to compile the artifact into one piece. When the array of the artifact had been perfect, light shot out from those streaks of shards. Then a bright light enveloped me*.

*I also woke up from my sleep, and how surprised I was. When I woke up the first time I saw was I was in my room a long time ago, when I was in school*.

*****

A few hours before compiling the artifact, the,

*On a cloudy day and a drizzling rain that flushes the earth. It was like it was describing my current mood. I stood in front of the grave of my first child who had just been buried. My only son I have now left me alone, too*.

Next to my son's grave is the grave of my late wife, who died a long time ago. And the tomb of my second son who had never seen the beauty of the world was beside my wife's grave.

The three tombs of those I love and care for are now lined up in front of me. I always lamented my own stupidity, which never understood my family's circumstances.

My second son was born prematurely, due to my wife's compromised health. Due to fatigue working and taking care of the house. And I had my patient's surgery schedule. I'd rather have the operation, than provide moral support for my wife.

The loss of our second son. My wife became a moody and aloof person. Again, I kept it quiet, not to worry about the change in attitude. Because I think he's still sad that he's lost the child he always wanted.

Even when my first son, who always needed my presence in the process of growing up developed himself. I gave it to my little brother. Every school activity involving parents, then my youngest brother who will replace me.

Am I sorry? Yes, that's the answer I'm going to give. I regret all the actions I took for my family. I regret for abandoning them when they needed me. I regret it when they have difficulty in living their day. I regret not being able to share my joy or sorrow with the people I care about.

Is this a punishment from God for me, for ignoring my family. So that He took back the people he had held for me. Maybe I am a man who cannot be trusted to keep his creation. If time could be turned back, then I would not waste their existence near me.

The tears that soaked my cheeks were mixed with rainwater. Not knowing where my tears from my cries were, and the rain that soaked my body. Now the rain fell rapidly in place of the drizzling rain earlier. But I'm still glued to my family's burial ground.

I turned my gaze not far from the tomb of my second son. There are rows of tombs of my parents who have long since died. And eat my sister whom I regret her death. As well as the grave of my younger brother who had replaced my role as father for my first son.

In front of me is now clearly visible rows of tombs of all the people who once colored my life. If God would give me a chance. Then I won't waste that chance.

I don't know how long I've been standing here, obviously the rain has stopped. And the sun had already dared to emit its rays. I could feel the warmth of the sun, on my body that was soaked.

I turned my face to the sky. The gray cloud that had filled the sky had now disappeared, and was replaced with a cloud that was white like cotton. I saw a rainbow adorning the sky this morning. Its beautiful color had replaced the dark color of the gray clouds that had filled the sky since dawn.

" Mister Doctor!"

I heard someone calling me from a distance. I looked up to find the source of the sound. He saw the maid in my house who had called me.

" What's up Maria?" I asked as the middle-aged woman approached me.

" There's a guest looking for Doctor." With a still intermittent breath Maria told me that there was a guest who wanted to see me.

" Who?" Ask again.

" No idea, sir. But it seems to be from the headquarters where Den Emperor works." Answer Maria.

" Alright then, let's go home together.

*****

" Good morning, sir." Greetings to me.

" Good morning." I also return their greetings.

" I'm sorry, our arrival this morning, has interfered with your time." Said a man of my age.

" It's okay, it just so happens that my time is also at leisure." Answer me with a smile.

" Please drink the tea, while it's still warm." My orders were given to both of them, when Mary gave us three glasses of warm tea.

And I didn't waste it, because my body already felt cold. I even directly drained the warm tea water in one drink. And I saw that both of my guests were drinking tea as well.

" What is the need, you're both looking for me?" I asked as soon as they put the glass on the table.

" We just want to deliver the Emperor's belongings that he brought to work, when the accident happened." Said the old man.

Then the man who was the same age as me, handed over the bag belonging to the Emperor that he often brought to his workplace while in the field. And one medium-sized box. I also received my son's belongings.

" We also offer our condolences, for the passing of the Father's son Emperor." The old man's old man.

" Thank you, sir. This is already the destiny of my son, the Emperor who has a short lifespan." Answer me in a low voice.

" Then we beg to resign." Said the middle-aged man who was my age.

" all right. Be careful on the road." Answer me and drive them to the front porch.

*****

*After I finish taking a bath, I enter the Emperor's room. I saw the item that the two men had delivered, was on his study table. I also walked towards the table that had accompanied the Emperor to study since he was in junior high school*.

I opened the box that had stolen my attention. The box was locked, and I needed the key to open it.

I remember that when the Emperor died he used a necklace with a small key that became his hanger there. I also looked for the key on the drawer table in the room belonging to the Emperor who often used it to research historical objects.

*I also took the box to the basement. To where the Emperor often spent his time. I also sat on the Emperor's seat of pride during his lifetime. I put the box on the table, and I opened the drawer to find the key I had five days ago saved there*.

I opened the box using the key I got from the drawer. And it turns out that it's true, if the key is the pair of the box box lock. And when I opened it, it turned out that there were only a few fragments of artifacts inside.

Then I compiled the artifact, out of curiosity. And I finally managed to compile the artifact into one piece. When the array of the artifact had been perfect, light shot out from those streaks of shards. Then a bright light enveloped me.

"King!"

" King!"

" The king will wake up soon and you will leave for school!" He heard a familiar voice that he missed so much.

I woke up from my sleep, and how shocked I was. When I woke up the first thing I saw was I was in my room a long time ago, when I was in school. There's paper on the wall near my study table.
