PART 36 TELL ME THE TRUTH

I ran and ran, trying to get away from that crazy guy who ran after me from behind, right now. I was breathing heavily, I felt pain around my stomach, but I kept running not wanting to be caught by it.

My steps began to be directionless, I did not know where else to go, down the rocky path avoiding the trees that suddenly appeared blocking my path.

I almost fell down, if only my hands did not first hold on to a large tree pole.

Grab!

A hand pulls the back of my hand firmly. Makes me reflex to turn my body to find both eyeballs that are staring cruelly at me.

My eyelids opened wide, silent, gathering the remains of a half-conscious soul. My gaze circulated, I realized someone was grasping my fingers tightly.

The dream, just now, was just a dream, but the figure sitting next to me now seemed real, very real because I could feel the warm palms that were now holding my hands.

He looked at me and rubbed my cheek, baby. “Darling, are you okay? Is anyone sick?”

“Kent..”.

I breathed a sigh of relief, thank God, I think Reza managed to hold me somewhere weird, full of bad guys I don't know, very creepy.

When I opened my eyes once more, a smile rose from my lips, I was glad that she was there, real, my mind was relieved.

I hugged his hand with both hands, closed my eyes once more, hoping this was not just a dream.

“Do not think of anything. I'm here,” his words sound as smooth as a dile in my ear, so soothing.

He drew closer, kissed my lips briefly. Staring at me more closely, but there's one thing that I find awkward. Both of his eyes were flushed.

“You're out crying?” I asked her to examine both of her irises that were reddened.

Kent shook his head slowly, rubbed his eyes once, then turned to look at me again and smiled.

“Hungry no?”

I shook my head, refusing her offer. Suddenly someone opened the door and entered, his face poking out from behind the door.

“Nesya!” he frantically called my name, walking quickly to my bed.

Fint patted Kent's shoulder, gesturing him to immediately move on from sitting down. Inevitably with a heavy heart Kent stood up from sitting down and shifted, standing next to Fint. Fint held the back of my hand gently.

“Hei! Do not hold it,” squealed Kent put Fint's hand out of my hand with a furious face while Fint glared fiercely at him, grumbling softly.

“Already, don't fight in front of me.”

I giggled amusedly at the behavior of both. Akch! Why my stomach hurts, hurts, hurts so much, like there's a wound in my stomach.

“Why baby?” ask the two of them at the same time, then they both look at each other.

Fint's facial expression looked panicked, but not as sweet as Kent's face which looked very worried about me. Kent hurriedly walked around the bed, grasping the back of my hand tightly.

“Your stomach hurts?” panicked.

I looked up, down the iris of the hazel eye, looking at the pupil of his eye, trying to guess. “Kent, my stomach why?” I asked while holding my stomach.

Kent was silent, poking his lips inward as if to hold back from speaking any further. He did not immediately answer, instead raising his eyes on Fint. As if understanding, Fint slowly withdrew, standing up from sitting, out of the room without saying a word.

Now, it's just me and Kent, staring at each other in silence. Both of her eyes were fixedly staring at me, holding both of my hands tighter and tighter. Kent bowed deeply, his eyes turned sad, teary, gulping slowly as if holding back a cry.

“Kent, say. What really happened?” I said in a stern tone, waiting for an answer to come out of his mouth.

“Nesya...” he said calling my name, both eyes began to water.

Kent looked to the side, looking elsewhere, as if Kent was trying to hide something from me.

I cupped his face with both hands, forcing him to look at me. “You're crying, why?” ask me carefully

“Darling, sorry I. Me, i_” he said unfinished, wiping tears with the back of his right hand.

I looked at her eyes and her cheeks that were soaked with tears, equalizing her gaze. “Kent why? Say, don't cry.”

My thumb wiped her tears slowly, then she hugged me, crying loosely in my arms. I rubbed his back dear, try to calm his sad feelings.

I don't know why he is so sad. What the hell is going on?

The deg!

A drop of tears melted from both eyelids. His heart was broken, not, but his soul, and his body, as if smashed to pieces.

A roaring cry broke out instantly, roaring uncontrollably. Sadness, pain, tightness in the chest, it was painful.
