The sound of birds roaring, sounding like a melodious flute, perched on a branch not far from the window glass of a room.
Bead eyes reddened glazed, resist sleepiness that never goes away. I don't know how many times his mouth was wide.
Oh God! This body feels like asking to collapse, my mind is complaining.
Shaking his head slowly, staring at the untouched cell phone from night.
Is it because I didn't pick up Irwan's phone? It's probable.
At 06:45 in the morning, he was forced to rise for a number of times. Walk towards the bathroom. It's been 10 times more, mmm, maybe 12 times (small waste). Countless glasses of water were drunk, making my stomach end bloated.
The sound of the ringtone of the phone rang many times, teasing the tired eyes that had just closed. Not just getting there.
Ting .. tong .. ting ... tong …. The sound of the house bell tickled softly in the ears.
Doc! Doc! Doc! Doc!
This time it was clearer: the sound of the window glass being knocked impatiently echoed to the head.
“NESYA, WAKEUP! OPEN DOOR. Nesya. You are okay!” yelled a very loud voice.
My eyeballs rotate in half-closed eyelids, as if reluctant to open. Still half conscious, trying to get up (wake up from sleep) get out of bed, walking out of the room to the main door.
“Nesya, very long time notya,” exclaimed Firda was upset.
“I'm sleepy.”
“Tuk?” both of his eyes glared at the horror of hearing my words. Suddenly he pulled my arm. “Where have you finished? Kok sleepy,” he said angry indistinctly.
“Neither from anywhere. Just can't sleep. Hoaem ..” says I yawned wide. “Fir, I sleep first, well,” my door is not strong enough to withstand drowsiness.
“Eh, I'm sleeping anyway Nes. At 10 o'clock there is a variety show in Building C. We have signed a contract and cannot be canceled,” said Firda angrily.
I turned to look at him while tired. “Iya, yes. Wait patiently, I take a shower first,” I said helplessly, “Oh yes, Fir. Please prepare my clothes dong! Whatever, which one. Anyway wear clothes.”
Firda chuckled amusedly hearing my words that did sound a little silly.
“Iya, know. It's been a shower. Be careful not to fall asleep,” tease Firda intentionally.
I laugh back amusedly, “What's wrong. The important thing is to sleep.”
“Hei! It's eight and a half. Quick there shower. Don't be long,” cry Firda.
“Iya, stepmom,”
“Hah! Stepmom.” exclaimed grim as he glared ferociously. “Quick shower. Nyerocos only.”
“Not you who nyerocos,” cibirku reverse the word.
Unfortunately, one of his hands raised a chair pillow high up to throw it at me. “Mandi no!” it's super fierce.
I chuckled mischievously, running small towards the bathroom.
“Nesya, don't run around. Careful of your stomach,” cried Firda warning. It sounded discordant, just as my feet were in front of the bathroom doorway.
“Uwek!”
I hope I'm okay.
The car we were riding in arrived at our destination, Building C. The galloping footsteps of my high heels and Firda's sneakers, sounded bouncing echoed throughout the desolate corridor. Luckily we arrived on time, 10 minutes before the event started.
A variety-themed show “Lunch Mate” and it happens that today the guest star there are 5 people including myself. The stage setting and the lighting of the tub in a cafe are ready to start filming. The crew was busy going back and forth preparing everything.
I stared at the reflection of my own reflection in front of the makeup mirror. Fatigue, apparent from a deathly pale face, dry lips, with faint blackened eye bags at the bottom of the eyes. A little touch of thick foundation around the eyes, but not able to disguise the feeling of fatigue that whack.
I add a thin polish to the cheeks with a blush on peach color. Next up is coloring my lips with baby pink lipstick. Yup, I'm ready pretty in front of the camera.
“SIAP ... ACTION!” the director started shooting. Just so you know! It's a live show.
I don't know how many times, my mouth evaporated wide, maybe a thousand times already. I felt the hands and knees of the feet that were beginning to tremble. These two eyelids seemed to be moored with marble. I can't stand the sleepiness anymore.
The question and answer session begins. My brain is blank, there's not a word in it except “ngantuk”. My words so digress when my turn to talk about favorite food.
A question was proffered to me, but I couldn't answer just looking at their faces one by one. I want to support my eyes with toothpicks, so that they open wide.
But a silly thing happened after one of the crew thrust their favorite food in front of each table. So sleepy, my face unconsciously hit the strawberry cake presented in front of the table, as a result my nose and cheeks full of strawberry cream.
Laughter echoes almost every human being in this room. What a shameful scene, and it's live. However, I was unable to realize about it, my body had almost collapsed.
Firda swiftly approached, knocking me out of the room.
In front of the washbasin mirror, Firda painstakingly washed my face with a wet towel.
“You okay? Still sleepy?” ask Firda to worry.
I nodded slowly. A speck of tears dripped on the cheek, moments later decomposed tears bombay.
Shame on me, I'm really embarrassed. How not! The event was held live and watched by thousands of creatures on this earth. Where do you want to put this face?
“Nes, don't cry. Poor the little guy. Can't be sad ..”
“... cannot cry,” my chirps continue Firda's speech.
Firda let out a long sigh while smiling warmly, rubbing my arms slowly.
“That's patient yes. Last night did not sleep.”
I shook my head to justify. “Don't know. Can't sleep. Just now I was really half asleep.”
While listening, Firda looked at me seriously, then said, “Yes, already. You go straight to the car. Let me talk to the crew first.”
I nodded in response, and Firda came out of the toilet. I turned my body to the mirror, removing the makeup that had faded. You could say my face without makeup, already looks like a jiangshi (vampire from china), pale and lifeless.
This body is limp not powered—but I survive—but support on the legs that are not sturdy. My head poked slightly from the toilet door, glancing right and left, looking at the condition of the place. The hallway of the corridor looked empty, not a single human set foot around here.
