The moon was getting ready to leave its contest and the sun was preparing to take its place. Nathan looked at the clock hanging on the wall and the time already showed it at 06:00 a.m.
Nathan rolled his gaze and found his little girl still asleep in her sleep. Nathan kissed Aster briefly. The swiping of Aster's brown head with a lot of love.
Nathan's hand movements stopped when he saw Aster's eyelids slowly opening, revealing a pair of beautiful hazel pearls.
"Morning, my handsome husband." Greet Aster with a hoarse voice typical of new people waking up.
"Morning, Baby." Nathan kissed Aster's lips briefly. "If you're sleepy again, I'll take a shower first." Nathan Said.
Aster did not reply, instead the girl nodded her head. Today is a weekend, so it's only natural that Nathan is still lounging at home.
Aster was about to close his eyes. Suddenly, his phone rang. The girl moved from her lying down. Aster reluctantly accepts the call.
"Why not get caught?" Ask Nathan. The man just came out of the bathroom.
Aster. Then he showed Nathan a foreign number. "Foreign number, Uncle. And I hesitate to lift it."
"Give me the phone. Let me just lift it." Aster nodded, then he gave Nathan his phone.
Nathan received the call, and the foreign voice of a man instantly wailed within his ears. Nathan didn't make a sound, he wanted to know who the man was and what his purpose was to contact Aster.
"Aster, I'm your grandfather. And grandpa wants to see you, there's a lot of things you want to talk about."
Aster takes his cell phone from Nathan's hand and replies to the man claiming to be his grandfather. "Sorry, but I don't have time to meet and chat with strangers!!" Then Aster just turned off his phone.
Then Aster raised his face and looked at Nathan seriously. "Uncle, how is this? Do I have to see him? Is he really my grandfather?" Ask Aster while locking Nathan's chocolate bead.
Nathan shook his head. "Don't be rash first. We still don't know who he really is and what his purpose is to get you to meet, nor why he claims to be your grandfather."
"Then what should I do?"
"I'll investigate first, somehow I have a bad feeling about this guy."
"Well, I'll follow Uncle's advice. What Uncle thinks is good, must be the best."
Nathan patted Aster's brown head."Take a shower, after this we go down for breakfast." His words were then answered by a nod by Aster.
"All right." After Nathan's departure. In the room it only tells Aster himself. Aster walked towards the bathroom. His body felt sticky all because of sweat.
.
.
.
"All right, give me the information immediately."
Nathan disconnects his phone and puts his phone on the table. He asks Leon to trace the number of the person who contacted Aster, and also find out about the person.
Frankly, Nathan was very curious about the person who contacted Aster. What does it mean that the man suddenly contacted his adopted daughter and claimed to be his grandfather.
"Uncle, what are you thinking?" Gavin and Rio approached Nathan who was sitting alone in the living room.
Nathan raised his face, looking at the two young men in turn. "Nothing, not important either."
"Yes, Uncle. Last night we saw two men pacing around the fence, they were very suspicious. Those people kept looking at Aster Nunna's room." Gavin said what he saw last night.
"What's? Two suspicious people?" Gavin and Rio nodded confirming.
"We recorded and captured it. This is if Uncle wants to see it." Rio pulled out his phone and showed me the video footage he took last night.
"Hn, looks like there are two little mice trying to get inside the lion's den?! All right, let's see where they can play with me."
Nathan patted both of them on the shoulder, and said."All right, Uncle is counting on you both."
The conversation between the three of them is interrupted by the arrival of Aster. The girl looked at the three questioningly. The expressions and faces of the three of them were so serious.
Aster stared at Gavin and Rio's departure with a wondering look. Then he approached Nathan to ask. "Uncle, what did you guys just talk about? Why do you three look so serious?" Ask Aster curiously.
"It's nothing. Come on, we'd better have breakfast." Take Nathan along while embracing Aster's shoulder. The two walked to the dining table.
.
.
.
After breakfast Aster went to the back garden to take care of the flowers. There are dozens of different types of roses growing there. With the help of two servants, Aster began picking the beautiful flowers.
Aster occasionally extended his gaze to the figure of a servant who had not even one month working at Nathan's residence. The waiter always gave a cynical look at him, but Aster did not want to care and took a headache.
He had no idea what reason Nathan kept delaying executing the waiter. Not even Aster knew what Nathan was up to. Nathan is hard to guess and understand.
"Auntie, you go in first. There's something important I need to talk to, Betty."
The waiter nodded. "Good, Miss."
After the departure of the server. In the park it only tells of Aster and a servant named Betty. Betty pulled out a dagger from behind her clothes when she saw Aster walking over to her.
The knife in Betty's grip slipped off after Aster kicked her hand. Then Aster squeezed the woman's body into a tree, his arm locking Betty's neck so she couldn't move an inch.
"Say, who sent you here? And what kind of trouble do you really have with me?"
Aster held Betty's hand as the woman was about to hit her. Betty grimaced in pain from the clutch and locking of Aster's arm around her neck.
"As long as I have patience. You better tell me honestly. Who sent you here?"
"If I don't want to say how?"
"That means you chose death!!" Someone from behind. Aster looked over, and Nathan walked up to the two of them.
Nathan took out a gun from behind the shirt he was wearing. "Say, who told you to and what purpose do you want to finish Aster off?"
"Pardon-Sorry, Sir. Oh, don't kill me. I am just a man. All right, I'll tell you who told me, but let me stay alive. The one who killed me was-"
JLEBB...
"NO!!"
Aster screamed hysterically at Betty's death after a commando knife struck her heart. And Betty died before she said who told her to.
Aster looked back and he saw the silhouette of someone running from the side. Not wanting to lose track, Aster ran after the man, but unfortunately he had disappeared.
"Damn!!" The girl growled furiously.
Nathan approaches Aster and tries to calm him down. "It's okay. We can still catch him next time. We better get in now. I'll find that guy as soon as possible. Come on," Aster nodded obediently.
Nathan clenched his hand. Not only Aster, he also saw the silhouette of the person who ran earlier.
He knew there was a traitor in his house, and Nathan certainly knew who it was. And it would be better if Aster does not know it, because it can hurt his heart and feelings.
