"But I love you, Nathan Xiao. And I will not marry except you!!!"
Nathan closed his eyes tightly. As the words that came out of Aster's lips continued to ring in his ears. He couldn't even get those words out of his memory.
Really, Nathan was so sorry why Aster had to have those feelings for him. Why should that feeling grow in his heart. Of the many men in this world why should he?
Then what is love in the sight of a Nathan Xiao? For Nathan. Love is a memory. No matter what it means, only Nathan himself knows the answer.
Nathan's increasing the speed on his car. The car was speeding on Seoul's fairly congested night roads.
The car that Nathan drove overtook several vehicles in front of him, not even infrequently Nathan's car almost collided with other vehicles.
Nathan doesn't care. He needs an impingement at the moment. And maybe a little bit of recklessness on the highway could ease a little of the burden on his heart and mind.
.
.
A luxury black sedan stopped at one of the buildings that was not too high. A signboard reading "Golden Bar" was plastered in front of him with illuminating lights.
At first glance it looks ordinary. It doesn't even look like a bar. Because the entrance only has to go through a small road. Not enough for a four-wheeled vehicle.
At first glance, there is nothing special about the bar. That place looks ordinary.
For a person who only judged something from his outer skin, the bar did seem ordinary. But you will find something different after you go inside.
Nathan started to climb the stairs. He could see the door on his left. Contains a lot of people gathered inside with the strains of dance genre music, decorated with colorful lights. They dance freely.
But they went back up the stairs to the top floor. Behind the elegant brown door that there is a bar with a quieter atmosphere.
The lights are brighter with jazz music playing. The black sofas are neatly arranged with a small table in the middle.
The long black Stool bar is arranged with high-rise chairs. Various shapes, brands and sizes of alcoholic beverages are neatly displayed there
This room looks wider because it is not too full of human oceans. Different from the room down there.
Although almost all the chairs seemed full, but not as wild as the previous bar room. Everyone here is like classy people.
Nathan sat in front of Bar Stool. Looks like the bartender who is making a drink, alcoholic of course.
The bartender only single-handedly served dozens of customers who were in this room. A friendly smile greeted Nathan there.
"Prepare as usual for me." Nathan's pinta on the man in front of him.
"Have not seen you visit in a long time, Boss?! And today you look a little messy."
"Hn, uh,"
Nathan didn't comment on what the bartender said. He just cleared his throat, responding to his words. Nathan is too lazy to talk right now.
Plakkkp...
Nathan closed his eyes again. The moment the shadow when he slapped Aster suddenly flashed in his eyes. The man closed his eyes.
With a slightly trembling hand, Nathan slashed his drinking glass on the table and gulped it down until the toilet was not left.
Nathan regrets his actions. He regretted what he had done to Aster earlier. Why did he have to slap her? Why can't he hold back his emotions? And for 10 years of living with her, this was the first time Nathan had made her cry.
"Give me one more glass,"
"Good, Boss."
Nathan took the cell phone out of his pants pocket. Aster's photo with a sweet smile was clearly displayed on his phone screen. Nathan pulled the corner of his lips and smiled faintly.
Her once very innocent and slightly reserved little girl had now grown into a very beautiful girl.
Not infrequently Aster makes Nathan's heart beat fast, just by looking at the beautiful smile on his beautiful face.
But as much as possible Nathan controlled the unnatural feelings that he felt. He was aware of his position and status. She shouldn't have loved her own daughter.
.
.
.
Nathan arrived at his house at 2 a.m. The tread house is quiet, and Nathan is sure that all of his residents are asleep by now. Nathan stopped his steps in front of Aster's room door.
Slowly, Nathan pushed open the door to Aster's room and found that the owner had fallen asleep on his soft bed. Nathan approached Aster and sat down beside him lying down.
Nathan could still feel his chest pounding, with the return of the shadow like a blow. Guilt enveloped him.
His big fingers rubbed Aster's right cheek which this afternoon became the landing of his hand. He was really sorry for slapping this girl. No matter how much emotion is controlling him, Nathan should be able to control it.
The touch on the tip of his head made both of Aster's previously closed eyes slowly open. Both of his eyes then widened to see the figure sitting in front of him.
"UNCLE, NATHAN!!"
Nathan pulls Aster into his arms. Hugged the girl tightly while repeatedly saying an apology.
The corner of Aster's lips continued to twitch, clear fluids had pooled in his eye fertilizers. Pushing to immediately drip and then wet his cheeks.
Aster raised both his hands and returned Nathan's embrace. "I won't force Uncle to accept my feelings, let alone repay them."
"But please let me love you. I can't get this feeling out of my heart. I love you too much."
Nathan closed his eyes. Nathan could feel Aster's breath that was spreading a strange taste around his body. The touch of the girl's hand on her skin made her feel a strange turmoil on her chest.
Once again Nathan felt something beating so hard in there. It was his heart, for some reason he felt that his heart was working again when he hugged Aster.
"No, you can love me as you please."
That simple word made Aster shed his tears again. Aster cried and felt himself now resting on the chest of Nathan's field hidden behind the clothes he was wearing, he sobbed.
Nathan smiles and kisses Aster's head. He didn't understand what he was doing, but all he knew was that it was his impulse.
Aster smiled and tightened his embrace. Nathan is always the reason why Aster cries, but at the same time he will always be the reason why he smiles.
Nathan let go of his embrace. His fingers wiped away the trail of tears on Aster's cheeks. "Uhh, Uncle's had a drink?" Aster covered his nose as he smelled an unpleasant scent coming out of Nathan's lips.
"Eh."
"And what's this? Why did Uncle's forehead get in this bandage?" Aster pointed to a bandage wrapped around Nathan's head with a blood-red patch just above his left eyebrow.
"It's okay. Just a small wound. Go back to sleep, it's still night. Uncle, also tired and Uncle's head feels dizzy." Nathan kissed Aster's forehead and sauntered away.
Aster smiled widely. The girl dropped her body on her soft mattress and rolled around indistinctly.
"Uncle Nathan, why are you so charming. Your words make me feel like I'm on a cloud." Said Aster while hugging his roll
"No, you can love me as you please." Aster imitated Nathan's words with an adorable expression.
The girl pranced in her lying position. "Ahhh, Uncle Nathan, why are you so romantic anyway?" The girl continued to roll over on her bed and....
Brugg's...
Aster fell out of his bed and ended up on the floor in a non-elite position. His ass landed first. Fortunately there was no one in the room, so Aster didn't need to be a clown show from the geeks.
