Chapter 48: This is the Result of Oppressing My Mother

The madam lying on the ground was now bald, with her black hair strewn on the ground. His scalp was bleeding profusely but no one around them stepped in to help.

The mistress of adultery has always been the most hated presence. Moreover, this mistress was extremely harsh and shameless even when she knew she was the third party of someone's marriage.

Other than Qin Yirou who was still stricken with grief and unaware of Yun Jian's deeds, everyone around them looked at the girl in horror. Some of them had even turned around, unable to withstand that bloody scene.

"From now on, this is the result of anyone daring to bully my mother!" Yun Jian was very quiet as he spoke calmly and pointed to the unconscious mistress.

“And, if any of you dare to spread rumors about what happened today, I will make sure they won't be able to talk forever. If you don't believe me, you can try it well!” Yun Jian's deep eyes were observing the audience.

Yun Gang had an affair, his mistress guiltlessly came to ask for money and beat up his wife.

Yun Jian knew that the gossipers in the current audience would exaggerate and add their own opinions into the story soon enough if he did not speak first.

He would never let something like this happen.

Perhaps it was because of Yun Jian's cruel actions just now. No one dared to make a sound.

Everyone only thought of one thing. – The girl was only fifteen yet she did not even blink after doing something so heartless.

A moment later, the crowd quietly dispersed.

Yun Zheng hesitated for some time before walking towards Yun Jian. Looking at his nephew who now seemed so foreign to him, he pursed his lips. "Xiao Jian, you ..."

The words had reached the tip of his lips but they were swallowed up again.

“Uncle, thank you for asking Xiaoya to tell me. Then I'll drive mom home first.” Yun Jian eased the awkward atmosphere and went to help Qin Yirou get up from the bench before they slowly went home.

Yun Gang was the ringleader of all these events yet he had escaped alone and had only left trouble for Qin Yirou.

Yun Jian decided that he could not let his mother continue living with such a man.

Any intention to solve the problem just makes it more complicated. It should have ended centuries ago.

After returning home, Yun Jian sat Qin Yirou down and poured a glass of warm water for her.

Qin Yirou did not say a word during their return trip; yun Jian's heart ached for him.

A few days ago when Qin Yirou had an accident, it was unknown where her husband Yun Gang was. Now, his girlfriend came knocking on their door.

He had even left them with a large amount of debt but could not be found anywhere.

Although Yun Jian had paid off his debt, this kind of person was not worthy of being his father.

Yun Jian made Qin Yirou dinner and left the house on time at 17:50. He did not forget Li Xiangyi's invitation although Qin Yirou's current state was still alarming.

“Bu, I'm out for a minute. Remember to have dinner! Health is ours, do not persecute yourself,” Yun Jian slipped a few strands of Qin Yirou's silver hair behind his ears, as he approached her in a grim tone.

“Follow, Xiao Jian. I'm fine, I'm fine, really.” Qin Yirou forced those words out from her pale lips, pulling her into a futile smile to calm Yun Jian down.

Yun Jian nodded, knowing that he had to give Qin Yirou time alone to digest the incident. Completing his task, he walked out the door towards the new bar Li Xiangyi mentioned.
