I spent a few minutes staring at the closed door he had just left my feelings I was like flying into outer space and then back again to planet Earth.
Okay.maybe it's true I like him. There, I admitted it to myself. I can't hide my feelings anymore. I've never felt like this before.
I found him interesting, very interesting. But it was in vain, I know, and I sighed with bitter regret. It was just a coincidence, he came here. But still, I can admire him from afar, certainly no harm. Maybe I can do love in silence?
Love in silence according to Islam is the way of love that is felt most appropriate when the self is not able to be bound in a sacred bond, namely marriage. If you have not been able to love and be loved in the bonds of marriage, love in silence is the answer to all the turmoil of the heart.
Love in silence to the opposite sex certainly needs to be grounded because of God, so that love that grows is more blessed and does not lead to harm. This is in accordance with what is discussed in the Quranic verse whose Meaning is as follows:
Say (Muhammad), “If you love Allah, follow me, then Allah will love you and forgive your sins.” Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (QS. Ali Vibrant: 31)
For those of you who have not been able to realize the seriousness of love by marriage, the Prophet recommended to observe the fast so as not to slip into the bondage of Satan. As described in a hadith as follows:
O young men, whoever is able to marry, let him marry soon. Whoever has not been able, then let him fast because fasting can refrain himself from the possibility of slipping into adultery. (H.R Bukhari and Muslim)
And if I find a photographer, I can do some serious admiration tomorrow. I bit my lips in anticipation and found myself grinning like a pubescent teenager.
I need to call Rahma and arrange a photo shoot.
After a while, Rahma was very happy to hear from me.
"But what was he doing in the little Unisoviet shop?" His curiosity seeped through the phone. I was far away in the supply room, trying to keep my voice normal.
"He just happened to be in the area"
"I think it's a big coincidence, Gisele. You don't think he's there to see you?"
Rahma's assumption pierced my heart because I also thought and hoped so. My heart flinched at the prospect, but it was a short-lived excitement. The boring and disappointing reality is that he is here on business.
"He visited the agricultural division in Bandung. He funded some research," I murmured.
"Oh yes it is. He bought the department for 3.7 trillion Rupiah"
Waw.
"How do you know this?"
"Gisele, I'm a journalist, and I've written that person's profile. It's my job to know this."
"Okay, Rahma, so you want these pictures?"
"of course. The question is, who will do it and where."
"We can ask where. He said he lived in the area."
"Can you call him?"
"I have his cell phone number."
Rahma gasps.
"The richest sultan, and he's the hardest bachelor to catch, the most mysterious in the country, just gave you his cell phone number.?"
"Eh .. yes."
"Giseles! She likes you. No doubt about it. You are indeed beautiful and it is no wonder that she also likes you" Her tone was firm.
"Rahma, he's just trying to be nice." But even when I said those words, I knew it wasn't true
He's polite, maybe. And a quiet little voice whispered, maybe Rahma was right, yes that's my hope, even though the big wall is blocking us because she's different religion with me but if she's a match she might be able to convert, but if he doesn't want to convert then it's just a dream this relationship won't work.
Gisele's....! What are you thinking? That's too high of a hope...Rahma brought me back from my high-level delusion
"I don't know who's going to do the shoot. Nila, our regular photographer, can't.
He's at home in Jody for the weekend. He will be angry because he wasted the opportunity to photograph one of Indonesia's leading businessmen"
"Hm... What about Rahadian?"
"Good idea! Ask him, he'll do anything for you. Then call Ricardo and find out where he wants us to meet." Rahma is very proud of Rahadian.
"I think you should call her."
"Who, Rahadian?" Rahma scoffs.
"No, Ricardo"
"Gisele, you're the one with the relationship."
"Relationship?" I squeaked at him, my voice rising by several octaves.
"I barely knew the man."
"At least you've met him" he said bitterly.
"And it looks like he wants to get to know you better. Gisele, just call him" he snapped and hung up.
He likes to rule sometimes. I frowned at my phone.
I just left a message for Rahadian when Raka walked into the stock room looking for sandpaper.
"We're kind of busy out there, Gisele," he said without bitterness.
"Yes, um, sorry," I muttered, turning to leave.
"So, why do you know Ricardo?" Raka's voice was very indifferent.
"I have to interview him for our student newspaper. Rahma was in pain then so I replaced her" I shrugged, tried to sound relaxed and did nothing better than her.
"Ricardo the Cafrio House Entrepreneur" Raka snorted, amazed. He shook his head as if he wanted to clear it up.
"Want to drink or eat something tonight?"
Every time she was at home she always invited me to go with her as if she had no other friends. It's just a male mode (modal lie).
I never thought it was a good idea to eat together with the boss' brother, he was not a literary hero, not at all. And I don't want to give you vague expectations, I don't want to play in male and female relationships.
The relationship was very vulnerable, and I just wanted to be in touch with the man I believed would accompany my life later, although I'm not so sure I'm getting married anytime soon because marriage is a serious and sacred thing, and I can't play it.
I like to read Romantic novels because sometimes it makes me happy the rest I like to read the love story of Prophet SAW with Siti Aisyah is very sweet and is a suri tauladan for all people.
But sometimes man does not escape the mistake of what else I am an ordinary man who has a lot of sins, sometimes it is difficult to control myself. What I do may not be in accordance with my common sense.
And I dreamt that the literary hero I read about so much in his Romantic novel was Ricardo.
