When we entered the mosque, Mr. Ustad was sitting wiridan inside, he realized we were entering, and turned his body towards us.
"Assalamualaikum sir ustad" I said
"Waalaikumsalam Gisele, how are you? Is this your friend?"
"Yes sir this is the friend I told you about"
"He's very handsome"
Ricardo looked a little blushed, thank God he wanted to be invited to the mosque.
"What's the matter, son...."
I forgot to mention Ricardo's name.
"Oh yes, this is Ricardo, his name is Ricardo the Cafrio" I explained.
"Okay, Ricardo, what's the matter?"
"I don't feel like I have a problem, but Gisele wants me to meet her father,"
"According to Gisele, are you sick?"
"What?" Ricardo asked in surprise and glanced at me.
"What do you mean Gisele? I'm in good health!" He's a little angry at me.
"This sir. There is a little problem, I hope you can me ruqyah Ricardo"
"Does Ricardo want me Ruqyah?"
"Ruqyah what is it? Does that hurt?"
"No... Ruqyah which I adopted is ruqyah syar’iyyah which is a healing therapy technique by reading verses of the Quran and do’a-do’a which mu’abaroh to patients/people in ruqyah, the, in accordance with the provisions of the Quran and As-Sunnah as exemplified in the time of the Prophet."
"Hem, some kind of therapy, then why did Gisele ask me to do this? I'm healthy not sick at all!!"
Ricardo said a little annoyed by looking at me.
"Look, son, I also do not want to patronize, just that the physical health is not necessarily the bathin also healthy, this ruqyah can also cure the bathin that is not healthy"
Obviously mr. ustadz
"Alright, I just follow," Ricardo looked at me intently, as if uttered in his gaze, 'watch you' the threatening tone that was fixed on me.
I bow my head.
"Well, if you can get Ricardo some water first!" Mr. Ustadz forgot that Ricardo was not a Muslim
"Sorry sir, what is ablution?"
"Is Ricardo a Muslim?" Ustadz asked
"I'm sorry Christian, if Gisele doesn't ask me, I don't want to come here either" Ricardo replied.
"I'm not imposing, because everything Ricardo wants to choose is of the will of Ricardo's own son. But may I share my story with Ricardo's son?"
"Just give it up" Ricardo replied briefly.
"It is narrated from Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri Radhiyallahu 'Anhu he said:
"Surely some of the Companions of the Prophet Shallahu 'Alaihi Wassalam were on their way. They went to one of the Arab villages and they hoped to be accepted as guests of the villagers (it seems that the villagers were either pagans or devout and jerks as described by them Ibn al-Qayyim in the book Madarijus Salikin).
But the villagers did not want to accept them. Then the head or head of our village was stung by a poisonous animal. They have been working on various kinds of treatment but not efficacious. One of the villagers said:
"What if you meet the group earlier, maybe they have something that can heal!?"
The villagers came to meet them and said:
"O noble company, our village chief stung by a poisonous animal, we have sought various kinds of treatment but are not effective, do any of you have anything to cure him?" One of my friends replied:
"By Allah I am able to make it happen, but we asked you to accept us as guests but you refused, we will not do so until you give us something in return!".
They also agreed to give some goats. Then he met the village leader and read al-Fatihah's letter. Then the village leader healed can walk as usual without feeling sick again. They were given some goats according to the agreement. One of the members of the group said:
"Share the goats!" the friend who me ruqyah had chimed in:
"Don't share it before we report it to the Prophet, we tell him what happened and we wait for what he commands!" they went home to the Prophet Shallahu 'Alaihi Wassalam and told him about the experience.
After hearing their story, the Prophet Shalallahu 'Alaihi Wassalam said:
"Thou shalt it be that Al-Fatihah is indeed a ruqyah." Then he said again:
"Your actions are right, share their gifts and make sure I get a share with you."
Here we will bring a snippet of this hadith syarah by Ibn Hajar Al-Asqalani as well as some of its benefits:
Words:
"they (the friends) hope to be accepted as guests of the villagers" namely asking to be accepted as guests.
In the account of Al-A'masy issued in addition to Imam Tirmidhi it is mentioned: "Rasulullah Shallahu 'Alaihi Wassalam sent thirty men. Then we (the ring) stopped at a tribe at night.
We asked them to accept us as guests. The word Al-Qira means guest."
The words: "Sung by a common animal" are scorpions.
The words: "They have tried to heal the head of the village by all means." That is the usual ways of treatment they do when someone is stung by a scorpion. Thus the explanation of the majoritaas ulama, that they have asked everyone to cure it.
He said: "The villagers came to meet them"
AlBazzar added:
The villagers said: "It has come to us that your friend (Rasulullah Shallahu 'Alaihi Wassalam ) has come with light and healing." The friends replied:
"Yes!"
He said: "Do you have anything to cure it?" In his account Abu Dawud added:
"A cure that could be useful to our village chief?"
The words: "Some of them said" In Abu Dawud's account read: "One of the members of the company said:
"True, by Allah I can read ruqyah to him." That said is Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri narrator of this hadith.
The reason: I (Abu Sa'id) said: "True, I can ruin it. But I won't do it so you give me some goats."
In the account of Sulayman ibn Qittah it reads: "Accupants came to him and recited him by reciting the letter of Al-Fatihah."
The words: "They agree" they agree.
The words: "Give some goats" in the history of Al-A'masy are mentioned:
"We will give you thirty goats."
The words: "Then he went forward and spouted" At-tafl is a burst accompanied by a slight spit.
Ibn Abi Hamzah said: the spit is done after reading the Qur'an in order to get the blessing of the Quran reading on the limb that was exposed by the spit. Because the spit that was spouted earlier had a blessing.
The words: "He read al-Fatihah's letter" in the account of the Shu'bah:
"Breading the Book of Fatehatul. Al-A'masy says: The Surat al-Fatihah was recited seven times."
The words: "As if he (head of kamupung) is refreshed" the meaning of nasyatha is to rise up immediately.
The word: "from the bridle" 'Iqal is a rope tied to curb livestock.
The word: "It seems as if it doesn't hurt" is as if it doesn't hurt. Sometimes the disease is also mentioned al-qalabah (turn and turn), because people who are sick will roll back and forth to find out where the sick.
Prophet's Word: "Thou art, that Al-Fatihah is indeed a ruqyah."
Ad-Dawudi said: "The meaning is "Do you?" In Mu'abbad ibn Sirrin it is mentioned: "Is he?" this phrase is commonly used when amazed at something and is also used to raise something.
This second meaning is what fits here. In his account Syu'bah added
"He made absolutely no mention of the prohibition" namely the Prophet Shallahu 'Alaihi Wassalam Did not forbid it.
Sulaiman bin Qittah added in his account after his word:
"Thou art that the Fatihah is a ruqyah" I said: "Then weep something into the depths of my heart" that is inspiration.
Prophet's Word: "Make sure I get a share with you"
Give me a part of it. It seems he wants to confirm the truth of their actions.
This Hadith is a proposition that can be ruqyah by reciting the Book of Allah, as well as dhikr and prayers that ma'tsur and other prayers that do not contradict the prayer that ma'tsur.
And the hadith is also a proposition that it may withhold kindness from a person in return for his deeds. The Companions refused to perform the ruqyah in return for their refusal.
In the hadith there is also the proposition that it can be jihad if it is not found in the Qur'an and As-Sunnah, and shows the great position of the Qur'an in the souls of the Companions, especially the letter of Al-Fatihah.
In the hadith it is explained that the sustenance that is in the hands of a person and will be shared with others can not be withheld by the owner.
When the villagers refused to accept them as guests - while Allah had appointed for the company a part of the property of the people of the village -, although they prevented it, Allah made the scorpion sting on the village head as the reason for the transfer of their property to the friends.
In it there is a very high wisdom, that the reply due to their rejection is inflicted on the person who is the most violent rejection among them, the head of the village.
Because usually the villagers will have deliberation first with their village leaders. Because the head of the village is very hard to resist, it is he who feels the reward in particular as a just reward.
