Chapter 23 I Think More Cute You Oppa

"Gisele, are you okay?"

"Yes." Yeah." Answer me briefly.

I thought he was smiling, but it was hard to say it in the dark. Ricardo flicked the switch again.

"PDX's Loly now at one four thousand, over." He exchanged information with air traffic control. It all sounds very professional to me. I think we're moving from Bandung air space to Jakarta Airport.

"Look over there." He pointed to a small point of light in the distance.

"That's Jakarta."

"Did you always impress women like this? Come and fly with your helicopter?" my question, really interested.

"I never took a girl with me. This is the first thing for me." His voice was calm, seriously.

Oh, that's an unexpected answer.

"Are you impressed?"

"I'm pretty fascinated."

She smiles.

"Acharmed?" And for a moment he asked again,

i'm nodding.

"You're very."

"Well, thank you, Miss Gisele," he said politely. I thought she was happy, but I wasn't sure, because she was good at hiding her expression.

We drove into the dark night in silence for a while. Jakarta's bright spot is slowly getting bigger.

"Loly Tower Flight plan to Horizon Hotel is ready. Please proceed. And standby. Replace."

"It's Loly, standing on the side, in front and outside."

"You're obviously enjoying this" I whispered.

"What?" She's staring. He looked puzzled in the dim light of the instrument.

"Fly," I replied.

"It requires control and concentration .. how could I not like it this one of my hobbies."

"Hobby?"

"Yes a helicopter, I like to fly."

"Oh." Expensive hobby. I remember him telling me during an interview last time. I love to read and go to the movies sometimes. His world is so different from mine.

"Loly, please come in, change." The intangible sound of air traffic control interrupted my daydream. Ricardo replied, sounding restrained and confident.

Jakarta is getting closer. We're on the fringes now. Waw! It looks so amazing. Jakarta at night, from the sky...

"Looks good, doesn't it?" Ricardo Gumam.

I nodded enthusiastically. It looked like another world, not real, and I felt like I was on the set of a giant movie, maybe Rahadian's favorite movie.

Memories of coercion when Rahadian was about to kiss me haunt me. I'm starting to feel kind of cruel for not calling her back. He can wait until tomorrow.

"We'll be there in a few minutes" Ricardo murmured, and suddenly my blood thumped in my ears as my heartbeat quickened and adrenaline surged through my system. He started talking to air traffic control again, but I was no longer listening.

We were now flying between the buildings, and in front, I could see a tall skyscraper with a helipad on it.

The word Horizon was painted white on top of the building. The closer and closer, the bigger and bigger it is. I hope I didn't embarrass him.

He'll think I'm lacking in some things. I clutched the end of my chair tighter and tighter. I can do this. I can do this. I cast this spell as skyscrapers loomed below us.

The helicopter slowed down and drifted, and Ricardo placed it on a helipad above the building. I felt very nervous, accompanied by relief because we had arrived alive, or the fear that I would fail in some way. He turned off the ignition and the propeller slowed down and quieted down until all I heard was the sound of my breath being erratic.

Ricardo took off his headphones, and grabbed onto the other side. He smiled and convinced me.

"We arrived" he said softly.

His appearance was so intense, half in shadow and half in the bright white light of the landing lights. The dark knight and the white knight, it was a suitable metaphor for Ricardo. He looks tense. His jaw was tightly closed and his eyes closed. He opened his seatbelt and reached out to remove my seatbelt.

His face is only a few inches from my face.

"You don't have to do anything you don't want to do. You know that, right?" His tone was so sincere, even desperate, his eyes were fiery. She surprised me.

"I'll never do anything I don't want to do, Ricardo." And when I said those words, I hesitated a little because my little heart said maybe I would do anything for this man sitting next to me.

But it worked. He's turning calm.

She looked at me warily for a moment and somehow, even though she was very tall, she managed to walk gracefully to the helicopter door and open it.

He jumped out, waiting for me to follow him, and grabbed the edge of my armour as I descended into the helipad. It was very windy on top of the building, and I was nervous about the fact that I was standing at least thirty stories high in the open space.

"Come on," he cried over the noise of the wind. He dragged me to the elevator shaft and, after pressing the number onto the key board, the door opened. In the warm and self-reflecting elevator, I can see Ricardo to infinity wherever I look. Ricardo inserted another code into the keypad, then the door closed and the elevator came down.

Moments later, we were in the white room. In the center was a dark-colored round wooden table, and on top of it was a huge bundle of white flowers. On the wall there are paintings, everywhere. He opened two double doors, and the white theme continued through the wide corridor and right opposite it where the majestic space opened. This is the main living room, double height. Big is too small a word for it. The opposite wall is made of glass and leads to a balcony overlooking downtown Jakarta.

On the right is an impressive O-shaped sofa that can comfortably accommodate ten adults. It's facing an advanced stainless steel, or maybe platinum for all I know, there's a modern fireplace.

The fire is burning and burning gently. On the left beside us, near the entrance, was the kitchen area.

All-white with dark wood kitchen table and large breakfast table that can accommodate six people.

Near the kitchen area, in front of the glass wall, was a dining table surrounded by sixteen chairs. And tucked in the corner is a full-size shiny black grand piano. Oh yeah, he probably plays the piano too. There is art of all shapes and sizes on all walls. In fact, this apartment looks more like a gallery than a place to live.

"Can I take your jacket?" ask Ricardo. I shook my head. I'm still cold because of the wind in the helipad.

"Do you want a drink?" she asked. I blinked at him. After last night! Did he try to be funny For a moment, I thought of asking for my favorite sariwangi tea but I didn't dare.

"I'll have a glass of Yuja Tea will you join me?"

"Yes, please," I murmured. Yuja Tea is a typical South Korean drink, perhaps there is Ricardo Korean descent, supported by his face like Lee Min Ho.

I was standing in this enormous room feeling out of place. I walked up to the glass wall, and I realized that the bottom of the wall opened the concertina style to the balcony. The city center of Jakarta is lit up and living in the background. I walked back to the kitchen area - it took a few seconds, very far from the glass wall, and Ricardo was preparing his Tea dish. He took off his jacket.

"Yuja Tea what do you like?"

"I don't really know because I've only seen it in the drama movies Rahma often watches" I replied.

"If you do you like watching Drakor too?" Ask Ricardo,

"Maybe it's just a quick glance, 'cause I don't like it very much"

"You love to see that handsome oppa-oppa"

"I think you're more handsome Oppa"

I said it out loud again. I immediately looked away from my face, and I peeked at Ricardo who also looked away, his ears looking very red. I like being able to be both with her at the same time afraid, afraid of not being able to hold back, because shetan is more clever in tempting humans.
