"Your new boyfriend?" gina asked to know.
"No," Renata replied after a long silence.
At once Jefra stared at Renata sharply. Is he not currently recognized? Jefra's heart was even pinched due to Renata's reply.
"Not a girlfriend why stick like that?" tanya Gina did not believe it.
"What's wrong with sticking to your husband?" Renata asked back.
Renata hugged Jefra's waist as if showing possession. Of course he won't let Gina take his Jefra.
Jefra and Gina were surprised, but in different interpretations.
"Are you kidding me? Why don't I know if you're married? You didn't invite me?" ask Gina again.
"Who are you that I should invite? I got married just inviting the closest people," Renata blinked.
"How could you not invite me? Though we were very close," Gina expressed sorrow.
Renata smiled slantingly, Gina still wearing a mask.
"Or you married secretly because... Pregnant?" connect Gina.
"It's true that people don't like it will see from the bad side we continue, other things the same people who like us, must see from the good side," said Renata calmly.
"No, I don't mean like that, I'm just asking" Gina said.
"You really are a reporter. Is that how important you are to explore my life? It seems to you that's important" Renata stared cynically at Gina.
"Why are you saying that? Isn't it natural that good friends ask each other questions?" Gina tries to fight Renata despite being cornered.
"Good friend? I thought our friendship was over."
Gina glazed over it, "Renata, I..."
As if to know Jefra opened her voice, "My wife, she said she wants to eat, let's go inside."
At once Renata blurted with Jefra's call 'My wife', "Y-ya, Su-suami."
Then Renata and Jefra turned around without saying anything more to Gina.
After her death, Gina's gaze turned sharp, her hands clenched until her fingernails turned white.
"What'sthis? Why is Renata happy?"
Gina is angry because expectations are not in accordance with reality, she thinks Renata will fall. However, in fact Renata has got a replacement Davian, even looks better.
And Gina herself?
Gina held onto her wrist which had a blue trail.
"Damn it, I'm going to give you back that piece of shit, Renata."
**
Inside the restaurant, Renata and Jefra are eating their own food.
"Jef, sorry," said Renata.
"For what?" jefra asked with a confused eyebrow lift.
"For just now."
Renata becomes uneasy with Jefra, having lied to her when they are married.
"I have no problem, My wife," Jefra faintly grinned.
"Why tease me," Renata blushed for a moment.
Jefra chuckled, "Here we are, soon we are getting married."
Renata nodded shyly.
"I'm afraid that Gina will take you like she did before" Renata said.
Jefra grabbed Renata's hand that was on the table, then grasped it gently.
"Renata, trust me. I will not go anywhere, will stay by your side, be yours, and will continue to love you. No other woman can draw my attention from you. I'll keep choosing you, I don't need anything else."
Obviously, Jefra is different from Davian. The fear that Renata would lose Jefra yawned, winning should not be her worrying about something not to worry about. Jefra was definitely impossible to turn around betraying him.
Yes, Renata believes in Jefra.
Renata returned Jefra's hand, she was deeply moved by the sweet words of her future husband.
"I'm the same, Jef. You really have taken my heart completely" Renata said with a smile.
"Isn't that dangerous? You can die then," Jefra chuckled.
Renata chuckled, "It turns out you have a sense of humor too, huh. I'm pretty surprised."
Then Renata sipped a straw on her orange juice.
"What's wrong with making your own wife laugh?"
"Are you okay?" ask Jefra worried.
Renata nodded, "I want to go to the toilet first," he said suddenly misbehaved.
"Hm."
After receiving approval from Jefra, Renata grabbed her tote bag and moved on.
Jefra's gaze could not be separated from Renata who was walking towards the restaurant waiter, seemed to be asking the location of the toilet. Then back to walk by following the directions of the waiter.
"Forth," Jefra muttered with a faint smile.
Then Jefra continued her meal.
However, someone knew coming to harass him.
"Sorry, can I sit down?"
It turned out that someone was Gina. Jefra stared flatly at Gina who was already sitting at Renata's place earlier. But Jefra wanted to say 'no'.
What is this woman's business? Why come right when Renata's not around?
"Oh, sorry if it's rude. We should have known first. My name is Gina."
Gina's hands extended forward, intending to invite Jefra to shake hands. A sweet smile dimpled cheeks etched on his face.
Jefra remained silent, ignoring the size of Gina's hand.
Gina smiled clumsily as she did not get a response, she pulled her hand back.
Then Gina tucked her hair behind her ears, deliberately exposing her tie neck. The movement that Gina believed could attract the attention of the young man before her.
"What's your name?" asked Gina in a soft voice.
"That's none of your business" replied Jefra without expression.
"It's a pity, when I just want to be more familiar with my friend's husband," said Gina smiling wryly.
"But I'm not interested" said Jefra straightforwardly.
"O-oh, you're so stiff," Gina laughed awkwardly.
This is beyond Gina's plan. The young man was hard to approach. He thought, Renata will re-establish a relationship with a young man who will not be far from the nature of Davian who is easily captivated.
However, for Gina this was more challenging.
"Consider that thought" said Jefra as if she knew what Gina was thinking.
"W-what?" gina was surprised.
Jefra glanced at Gina's bluish wrist. The girl had indeed intentionally covered it with her sleeves.
"Pathetic."
One word that made Gina freeze.
"I've met enough people like you. People who seek happiness from gnawing at others. Like a worm."
Gina's face hardened. A worm? How can he be equated with a small animal, flat, legless, with a long round body, and can live on the ground or in humans.
But the reality is like that.
"Stop interfering with Renata's life, don't make her an alternative to your satisfaction."
The deg!
Gina died a flea with Jephra's gaze so sharp, as if skinning alive.
Then Jephra rose to leave the silenced Gina with a paled face.
Jefra walked towards the direction where Renata was. He was very sorry if his beloved girl had a friend who behaved badly like Gina. Remind Jefra to advise Renata not to be friends with people anymore.
It is better to have an enemy who respects lack, than to have friends who underestimate goodness.
"Eh, Jef? Why are you here?"
Renata who had just come out of the door of the woman's toilet was shocked by Jefra's presence.
"Waiting for you," Jefra smiled faintly.
"I'm a child, of course" Renata chuckled.
"Let's go home" Jefra asked.
"Are you done eating?"
"Here you go."
Jefra embraces Renata's shoulder to get out of the restaurant.
