At 23:00 Wib
Anna looked back at her cell phone screen. He's back to reading Ethan's message.
'Your mom's home, at 21:00 Wib. Has he not reached home yet?'
Under Ethan's message, there's Anna's reply.
'Yes, my mother has reached home.'
Anna replies, so as not to make Ethan worry with her. Anna immediately closed the message. Put the phone back in the coat pocket. Anna Squeezed her coat, and was still standing in front of the alley of her house with a lot of uneasiness mixed with worry . For two hours, he was waiting for his mother. Feeling worried that has not gone away, Anna immediately reached into her phone again, opened her cell phone contact, pressed the number two, for a quick call that was fixed on Nana, her mother. Cannot connect at all.
Waiting two hours in his agitation. Makes her feel like every second is becoming more anxious. Feeling no choice but to ask Ethan for help. Anna immediately hit number one, for her quick call— Ethan Ruan, the arrogant young master.
Connected calls.
"What's up, why are you calling this late?" ethan asked as he glanced at the watch in his hand by lowering his eyes.
"I-my mom hasn't come home yet, Ethan!" answer Anna. Shocking Ethan over there, he immediately flicked his blanket over.
"Are you home?" ethan asked, looking more worried about where the girl was.
Anna looked around her, she just stared at the quiet and dark highway, just the small light from a pole around Anna, which gave a little illumination to her, a cold wind blew on him, he hesitantly said to answer where he was.
"Where are you? are you in the house?" ethan asked half-screaming and surprised Anna.
"I'm in front of the house alley, waiting for my mother to come back."
"You're a fool .. You're a girl, but you're stepping foot out this late," Ethan's gust of rage mixed with worry, "Wait for me, and don't step out on your own."
"I'm waiting for my mother" replied Anna. But the phone connection just disconnected. Anna looked at the numbers showing the clock that had passed eleven o'clock in the evening. Anna looked around. It looks quiet with little lighting, which makes the atmosphere look gloomy. Doubtful. He hesitated to wait longer. But Ethan asks to wait for him. In the past, she could have waited for her mother's return with Joe Han, standing here together. He had no fear of a lonely night. Now stand alone, carrying fear and beware of himself.
'You're a girl, but step foot out this late.' One sentence Ethan pebersit returned in Anna's mind, making herself realize her stupidity. Waiting in the dark like this, is a terrible scourge for a girl. This, makes the whole fear of his mother now moved to worry about himself.
Wanna go back home. But in the middle of the alley, there was a group of men who were seen often waiting. If he returns alone, then he fears the men are dragging him into the bleakness of a girl's life. Anna was afraid to walk alone. Beware of his own honor. Slowly Anna stepped up, hiding herself in the darkness. So that everyone does not realize his presence is waiting. He's waiting for his mother. He's waiting for Ethan, too. I also remember Joe Han. Joe Han, who was once loyal and always accompanied him, stood together here.
"Joe Han," complained Anna remembering that the man was still lying in bed. The man was still asleep with a long sleep.
"When did you wake up so I could wait with you?" anna asked Joe Han who was recorded in her mind. Once again, the man came over with his friendly smile. It looked real, standing by his side.
Anna gasped for a moment, as if seeing a real ghostly figure before her eyes, yet this matter was not frightening at all. It is precisely this, a figure that is greatly missed. The missing friend, looks back. Like barren land longs for rain. Slowly Anna's hand touched the figure of the man present in the darkness, but it vanished in the next second.
"Joe Han," cried Anna in a low voice but her heart felt a long howl. There was a sense of longing together, when the man was already seen silent and distant. Anna sighed, when all she realized was an illusion.
Anna turned to the origin of the voice that called out to her. Anna's face looks still very red, her pair of eyes look teary and ready to shed a lot of tears. A black figure could be seen coming closer to her, and Anna vaguely simply called out to the coming figure, "Joe ...." shrill in the darkness called out to the figure who looked increasingly familiar as the distance between them eroded, only two steps left.
"I'm Ethan, not Joe ..," the man corrects after a long time spent staring at each other, as if they were all coming together and the person they met.
"I'm sorry, I thought you were Joe." Anna lowered her face, then turned herself around. As if his back was cold, it could hide his discomfort. He wanted to snuggle up immediately, as it was wrong to guess who had come.
"Not to think about it, go home first" Ethan said. Although he was seen blowing his breath many times, and only kept a sense of disappointment that perched in his chest cavity. Vinegar sowed in his heart.
'I came, but you called another man's name, ' Ethan lamented in his heart, as his footsteps followed Anna's small steps walking in front of him. Very slow.
Entering the alley, treading the road that looks studded with gravel with an atmosphere that looks dark and quiet. Until one dim light illuminates the crossroads. There were some young men standing with smoke in front of their faces.
Anna stopped her steps. Turn to Ethan.
"I'm afraid to go through there," north Anna sounded awkwardly saying to Ethan.
Ethan's pair of sharp eyes, seen highlighting the number of youths at the crossroads. He was seen counting his opponents before his eyes.
"Have they ever bothered you?"
Anna shook her head.
"Then why are you afraid of them?" chase Ethan in tightly clenched hands in his coat pocket.
"They're bad boys. But they never bothered me, because Joe was always with me ..," north of Anna with a pair of eyes that didn't dare look at Ethan. Alright, he felt guilty again, as his tongue dared to utter another man again before this man.
"If they don't bother you, because you're walking with Joe. So walk with me, I'll make sure they won't dare touch you again even if you walk alone one day ..," said Ethan, with his hands still clenched tightly in his coat pocket, and his pair of eyes seemed to scan every move of the young man there. They also look like they are waiting for their prey.
Anna blinked her pair of eyes.
"It's not. Joe gave the money to get through there," said Anna with a tone sounded shy about expressing it.
