"So?" Davin asked now only faced off against his little friend Su Jin. They decided to speak for themselves at a separate table with the parents.

"Sorry." Su Jin replied that he felt guilty for lying to Davin, who thought of him as his sister.

Davin seemed to be breathing a long sigh.

"I volunteered." Su Jin replied again making Davin frown.

"You know very well I just think of you like my own sister like the twins and Ji Won." Davin said while sipping his coffee.

Su Jin was silent. He waited for Davin to finish his sentence.

"Sorry, I can't continue this match." Connect Davin.

"Why? You've been moody for a few days, and even you've always told this little friend of yours, you're reluctant."

"I don't want a story. I'm not ready." Davin replied staring at Su Jin flatly.

"I heard about the matchmaking from auntie. Every day my aunt complained to my mother when my son was getting married. When I think one of the twins is impossible because they are still busy with their respective affairs. And I immediately thought of you." Su Jin paused his words. Davin fell silent.

"I volunteered to be betrothed to you and saw your reaction. And aunt agreed. He thinks we've known each other since childhood, and aunt thinks we're a good match and might just take each other in." Su Jin paused his sentence again waiting for Davin's reaction to remain the same. Su Jin let out a long sigh, he does have more feelings for this childhood friend of his. But he did not want their friendship to be awkward if he expressed his feelings.

"Before, may I know why you refused your parents' matchmaking?" Su Jin asked expectantly.

"I'm married."

"Oh..what?" Su Jin exclaimed at Davin in surprise.

"What did you say?" Su Jin asked once again to make sure his hearing was not wrong.

"I'm married to the woman I love. And now she's pregnant with our second child." Davin's reply made Su Jin's chest tight but he tried to control his feelings of disappointment.

"Then? Why didn't you tell your parents?" Su Jin asked sipping on his coffee which was getting cold with no excitement.

"We're in the process of divorce."

"What?" Again Su Jin was taken aback twice by this man in front of him. He's not thinking.

*Didn't he love his wife?

And also, wasn't his wife pregnant as well?

But he said he was in divorce proceedings*?

Inner Su Jin wondered as if the feeling of tightness pain in his chest instantly dissipated and was relieved for some reason? Because Davin's divorced or because...

"I almost lost our second child to my stupidity." Su Jin stared fixedly at Davin waiting for him to continue his sentence again.

"For that I release it for the sake of our son." Davin continued, Su Jin was still silent.

"Aren't you married because you love each other?"

"At first it was, but somehow it became a compulsion. Even I kidnapped her on her wedding day." Davin laughed bitterly as he said it. Su Jin looked at Davin who looked sad.

"Even with the heart I raped her." Su Jin glared at Davin's last sentence.

"You must love her very much." Said Su Jin staring at Davin softly.

"You're right, I love her so much that I don't want to see her out of the room in the slightest to the point of stressing and frustrating her until we lose our first child." Su Jin was silent staring pityfully at his little friend.

"Never have I allowed a doctor to take my wife to the hospital for treatment at a critical time for our future child. Until finally our future son died before even being born into this world."

"I'm sorry to hear that."

"Until this second pregnancy, she didn't even love me. And for the sake of our child. I had to let go for her."

Both of them were still staring at themselves. Davin with his thoughts and guilt. Su Jin with a feeling of clapping one hand. He also abandoned his intention to express his true feelings to his little friend. Maybe it was her destiny to be a childhood friend.

"You sure he doesn't love you?" Su Jin asked after a long time in silence respectively.

"She was almost married to her boyfriend. And I kidnapped her pretty." Davin replied after sighing heavily.

"Even he tried to run away from me so many times and failed that I lost my temper for refusing to marry me. Until the rape took place." Davin replied with regret clearly visible on his face.

"Then? What's your plan now?"

"Of course, I plan to just watch him from afar. While looking at the development of him and our future son."

"You don't intend to get her heart again?" Davin turned to look at Su Jin for a moment.

"Let's know, it's been over seven months that I've been trying to take her heart back. But not the feeling of love from him but only the hatred implied from him."

"Need help?" Su Jin bargained with a mysterious smile.

"He hasn't signed the divorce papers, has he?" Davin nodded still not understanding.

"What if he loves you so much?" Su Jin still displayed his mysterious smile.

"Can't be?"

"What if we try?" Davin looked cringing.

"How?"

"You believe me, don't you?"

"What are you planning?" Su Jin just smiled.

"Trust me. You're just following my instinct."

Davin just sighed still did not understand the meaning of his friend's words.
