Arthur was still faithful to be at Karina's side by tightly grasping her fingers. I don't know how many hours the fingers have been held. Even the papa's exorcism was ignored. Now he still sits on the edge of the bed of the mother who is still faithful to close her eyes. As if he was reluctant to reopen his eyes.
"Art, rest! Papa's gonna take care of your mama?" the Pinta Derian that Arthur doesn't listen to.
He was still silent on the floor of the room staring at Karina grudgingly. No, No! Don't leave Arthur ma, Arthur still wants to be with mama, Arthur still can't make mama happy. We promise to go for a walk together ma. Please open your eyes inner Arthur, still tears flow in his silence.
Papa's offer for the umpteenth time was ignored. He was just daydreaming in his mind. Fear and anxiety flashed through his mind if one day the mother really left.
In dreams.
Karina looked around the white room and there was no one there. Even himself now. His body feels healthy and refreshed. Not feeling the pain like before. Karina tried to walk around in the all-white room.
Calling her husband who was most anxious about her situation. But there's no answer. Karina tried to go back to another room still there was no reply. She started calling one by one the names of her children, but there was no answer. Karina was frustrated.
Am I dead? I really left my family. Karina sat there crying on the floor of the room, feeling unsullied with her husband and children, especially with her youngest son. He had not seen his only son get married and saw the grandson of his son.
"Why is Oma crying?" ask a boy about five years old.
His face is very similar to that of his son Arthur. Karina looked up at the voice of the little man who called her Oma. Only Rey knows her grandson and who is this? That's how the inner Karina wonders about the toddler in front of her now. The little man seemed to stroke Karina's back as if he wanted to comfort Karina who was crying.
"Who are you, son?" asked Karina looking at the little man.
"I'm your granddaughter Oma" the little man replied with a sweet smile.
"My grandchildren? Si... What's your papa's name?" ask Karina again.
"Father Arthur" replied the little man again.
"Arthur's? You're Arthur's son. Your father's name is Arthur? But.." said Karina still confused.
"Davin.." call a woman from behind the little man who turns out to be Davin.
"Yes ma." replied Davin turning to the source of the voice.
The woman approached her son, called Davin. Smiling also looked at Karina who was known as her mother-in-law.
"Mama." said the woman lowered her face saluting Karina.
"You're so beautiful, son." said Karina, touching the woman's chin gently.
The woman seemed embarrassed to hear the compliment. His face flushed red, he lowered his face blushing in shame.
"Thank you ma." replied the woman timidly.
"Who are you son?" asked Karina who had been curious about these two.
"Mama forgot? I'm your mother's daughter-in-law, Arthur ma's wife." replied the woman introducing herself.
"My son's wife Arthur?" ask Karina in disbelief. The woman simply nodded, looking down timidly.
Beautiful face, plain and tough. That was what Karina saw in the woman. And the woman was very polite and well mannered, so well behaved towards the elderly. Karina immediately smiled happily. Rubbing the woman's cheeks gently alternated with the cheeks of the little man who claimed to be her grandson.
"We'll visit my mom later, now we have to go first." said the woman holding the little man.
And Arthur unconsciously felt the movement of Karina's fingers and immediately Arthur exclaimed.
"Ma.. mama...you realize..ma.." cried Arthur saw Karina's eyes open slowly. Derian, Dion and the Princess who were on guard sitting on the sofa not far from Karina's bed were lying down and approaching Arthur's voice.
"Honey .." cried Derian who had approached Karina with his fingers.
Karina looked at her husband's tired and sad face. Her heart also felt guilty for her husband who seemed to worry about her. Karina turned to look at her sons and daughters standing in line at the side of the bed. Dion, Princess and the last one is Arthur. The tired face of her son really made Karina's heart trenchant and moved.
It must be him who continues to hold tightly to his fingers. That was how Karina felt when she woke up. Her big, broad hands resembled those of her husband but still did not wrinkle. Angel, Vio and Aksa with their children who took turns to keep the mother come into the room of her mother who was said to have realized from her long sleep.
Karina was still silently staring at her sons and grandchildren who had just come to look worried and sad faces as well. Ah, it turns out that all her children really love her sincerely.
Karina tried to get up, assisted by Derian who faithfully grasped her fingers tightly. Karina smiled looking at her husband gently. But Derian only showed his flat face.
"Can you leave us both?" pinta Karina with her weak tone of voice yet still tried to smile gently with her pale face. Instantly all the faces of his children were wrinkled in disbelief.
"After this, Mama will talk to you. Please." pinta Karina begged.
Make his children dare not argue anymore. With all his children and grandchildren regularly leaving the room, Arthur, who was still unmoved, looked at Karina. Karina stared back at her youngest son gently not forgetting the sweet smile still imprinted on her lips.
The princess patted Arthur on the shoulder, persuading him to immediately leave her mother's room. With Arthur's heavy heart gone, he was still standing at the door staring at Karina's face which was also still staring at him. The bedroom door was closed. Karina instead looked at the face of her husband who had not turned away from her face at all.
Demanding an explanation of his wife's state that looked freshly fit before he fainted. Karina instead looked at her hands held by her husband. Replace him holding it tight.
They looked at each other again, unconsciously the tears Derian shed with a rush. Karina came crying and hugged her currently weak husband's body.
"I'm sorry... Sorry to worry you." whispered Karina softly, Derian just shook his head still in his wife's arms and he tightened his embrace even more.
"Thank you for coming back. Thank you for surviving." whispered Derian lirih, her tears just flowed.
Below, in the family room. Arthur moved restlessly back and forth here and there. Still waiting for his parents to come down. When he woke up after falling asleep for a week, making Arthur anxious about Karina's condition.
"Can you sit Art?" said Angel who was dizzy to see Arthur was not calm.
But it was ignored Arthur, even Arthur as a fool with his brother's request.
"Hell up!" angel said again.
