16. Childhood friend

"Lo stupid or what the hell?"

Devan is silent, currently the two boys are sitting on the school rooftop looking at the blue sky which is very unsupportive of Devan's current feelings.

Devan always hated Dania's presence because the girl was always bothering him.

The 7-year-old boy was struggling with a thick book, had a routine every day off sitting all day in the room while reading a book.

The door opened firmly revealing two boys of his age.

"Don't read books and your eyes will hurt" Aldian said.

The boy sat with Devan on the bed. "Look! I brought a new temen."

The girl was silent on the doorstep while paying attention to the interaction of the two.

"I don't want to play, I want to read a book" Devan said.

Aldian shakes Devan's shoulder. "Byok play pity Dania I've brought here when you cuekin."

The boy nodded and stopped his activities.

Devan came down and kept his book at the study table, he approached the girl who was still silent like the statue.

"Who?"

The girl raised her eyebrows not understanding what this boy was asking.

"Who's your name?" reload Devan with a little word addition.

"My name is Dania Larasati, 2nd grade, I just moved here and it just so happens that Aldian is my neighbor, but I don't think that school is with you."

"Dania Larasati."

The girl nodded. "Yes, I know."

Devan feels like a bad guy, he remembers Alya when he sees Dania. Not because she still likes him but he is his sister, a brother's affection for his sister is just that.

His hands stretched out to wipe away the trace of the tears of the girl he loved. "Lo if it's so bad," he sneered.

Dania pouted then hit Devan's field chest, the guy immediately clenched his body until his hands were silent and replaced with a heartbeat that was getting faster, gently rubbed in his hair made Dania put her chin on Devan's boat.

"Gue hope you can understand my current situation, you want to call me dear or what is okay, but-"

"But we're not dating?" dania asked a little annoyed.

"Will you go out or marry me?"
