YES!! I'am Mermaid - Ep. 8

The stillness of the night, Lucas sat opposite Ryn, accompanied by Suri. An hour after giving clothes to Ryn, Wendy immediately left the house because there was business that he had to do.

Dinner that had been smooth-talking suddenly changed because of the sentence that Suri said. Not a dirty word that he let out, the young Suri asked a nanny for herself. Of course Lucas was surprised, considering Suri never wanted to be accompanied by a nanny, both eyes of Lucas were fixed on Ryn who was sitting quietly. The girl looked beautiful because she had cleaned herself and was wearing the clothes given by Wendy.

I didn't expect my sister's clothes to look good on her - Lucas.

"Dad agrees, right?" Suri's voice finally broke the silence. The little girl turned to Ryn and smiled happily, she also looked back at Lucas who seemed to be still thinking.

"You just knew Suri!"

"But I like Ryn!"

"But I don't like it!" Lucas's fast. "I don't like it when you're like this, bringing strangers into the house??"

"I'm not a bad person" Ryn said cutting off the conversation, the blue-eyed girl clasping Suri's fingers tightly. "I promise, nothing bad will happen to Suri"

"You may not be a bad person, but how can I trust your words??"

"H-hatiku, my heart is sincere" said Ryn lirih half gagu.

"Then try to get your heart out so I can see it!!" Maki Lucas is upset, the man stands up from his seat and is still adamant about rejecting Ryn's presence in his house.

"Dad!" Prevent Suri, so that her father doesn't leave. But apparently, it didn't work.

"We're done talking Suri!!"

Ryn hurriedly got up from his seat, the girl stepped foot to chase after Lucas who had not gone too far. Ryn spoke to Suri without a sound, he asked Suri to wait and entrust everything to him.

Less than a step away from Lucas, Ryn suddenly covered his nose. Not since when? Ryn's sense of smell became sharper, he was very fond of the scent of Lucas' body. He was afraid that the scent of the human-inflicted body would make him lulled.

"Hey, wait a minute!" Ryn spoke less clearly as a result of his stuffed nose. Unbeknownst to him, Lucas suddenly stopped. It makes Ryn's body hit the back of Lucas' body.

"Oh my God!" Said Ryn when he had fallen behind Lucas, the beautiful mermaid stood up and looked into Lucas' eyes deeply as the man turned around. For a moment, Ryn was pensive thanks to Lucas' calming scent, but when he regained consciousness. The girl had already closed her nose back.

"M-forgive me! But we need to talk"

Seeing Ryn close his nose, Lucas involuntarily kissed the shirt he was wearing. The man was astonished by Ryn's strange behavior.

I don't smell shit!- Lucas.

"Are you insulting me??"

"What??" Ryn looked at the man confused.

"Why did you close your nose? Am I that smelly??"

Feeling aware of what he had done, Ryn chose to take a few steps back to make a safe distance from the man, Ryn took off his hands which had partially covered his face.

"What should I do? So you can trust me?"

"What do you mean?" Lucas asked back.

"It's about Suri, I like her too. You don't even have to pay me for it" said Ryn, from whom he didn't know his words were a bad sign.

Lucas laughed wryly, the handsome man threw his face the other way and took Ryn lightly. "I thought it would be like this!"

"..........."

Ryn was silent, he had absolutely no idea what the sentence the man before him meant. Lucas stepped forward, clutching Ryn's shoulders so tightly that the girl had no chance to escape, or just to close her nose.

"How cheap are you?"

Both of Ryn's eyes were rounded, making the entire blue cornea clearly visible. "I-I...."

"Who do you think you are?!" Ledek Lucas is upset. "By approaching Suri and making Suri side with you, you think you'll be able to easily get me?!"

"What??"

"I know clearly a girl like you!" Get Lucas again. "You've come in full mystery, now you want me to allow you to stay here. You want to try to lure me in?"

"I don't like you...."

Hearing the soft words said by Ryn was able to make Lucas turn back. He kept silent to let the girl continue her sentence.

"From the beginning I never liked you, and I would never like you" Ryn turned his head, saying solemnly. "I sincerely liked Suri and wanted to be her nanny"

Shut up, that's all the handsome guy can do. In her brain, she thinks that Ryn is a foreign girl with a psychic disorder. He could have called out his dislike to Lucas plainly, even by looking into his eyes. What was lacking in the man, so Ryn didn't like it? Lucas laughed a little.

"Don't you feel sorry for Nany who is old, she has to take care of the house and has to take care of Suri at the same time" Ryn rubbed his left hand which suddenly creeped. He was very sure for sure now Lucas was cursing himself in the heart. "Nany also has family elsewhere, while I'm just a little girl"

"How old are you??"

"Uh???"

Ryn fell silent, how could he explain to Lucas how old he was. If he said he was about forty, would Lucas believe it? Remembering her face was still like a young girl.

"De-eighteen"

Lucas nodded his head slowly, and the man left without saying anything. Just as he was about to climb the first rung, the man turned to look at Ryn who was still silent in his place earlier.

"From tomorrow, Nany will teach you what to do"

Ryn was surprised, both corners of her lips lifted up and made a beautiful smile knot. "Thank you...."

'Beautiful.....' Inner Lucas, the man scratched the back of his neck and immediately turned to continue his steps towards the room.

Ryn leaped for joy, the blue-eyed girl immediately ran to Suri's place and told him the happy news. The half-sleepy Suri only congratulated Ryn ala perfungnya. On his first day of acceptance, Ryn's current task is to put Suri to sleep. The girl also chooses to sleep in Suri's room, waiting for the next day where Lucas will tell her where his room is in the house.

The next morning, Lucas prepared to go to work. He caught a glimpse of Suri's room door still closed, the man stepped closer and placed his ear on the door leaf. A noise rang out from behind Suri's bedroom door, worried for her daughter's safety. Lucas opens the door to Suri's room by force.

She was so surprised, when she saw Suri who was wrapped in a towel with Ryn who was holding her. Wasn't it! It wasn't Suri who surprised her, but Ryn!!! The beautiful blue-eyed girl was wearing a raincoat inside the house, which was absolutely ridiculous for Lucas.

"What's this??"

"ah! Sir, I-I..." Ryn lowered Suri on the bed and stood up again without taking off the transparent raincoat he was wearing.

"Why are you wearing a raincoat in the house?"

"I just bathed Suri"

Lucas piqued his annoyance, looking at his daughter who had a small smile watching his new nanny. "Why are you smiling??"

"I told you, right?! The mermaid really exists" Suri said happily. Suri's sentence of course made Ryn flinch in shock and looked at the little girl, Ryn then turned to look at Lucas who looked at her with a strange look.

"What did you tell Suri?!"

"Ah... That's..." Ryn glanced around to find an excuse. "Hehe, I told Suri the mermaid legend before going to bed. And now I'm acting like that mermaid"

"No... Mmm" Suri had not had time to say her sentence, Ryn hurriedly closed the little girl's lips while winking one eye at Suri. The girl pleaded with Suri not to discuss the imaginary creature in front of her father, even though it was real.

"Don't affect Suri's brain with that cheap fairy tale again"

Ryn looked at Lucas who was walking away, his eyes following where the man was going until Suri's door closed.

"Well! Explain to me, why are you talking like that in front of Lucas?" Ryn ruffled waist nagging Suri who looked more cheerful.

"Then can you explain to me why you're wearing a raincoat in the bathroom?"
