YES!! I'am Mermaid - Ep. 3

"What??"

One of Ryn's eyebrows is raised hearing a strange question from the lips of the handsome man named Lucas. Ryn just shook his head slowly and continued on his way back.

"Suri told me you were weird!" Lucas continued to watch the foreign girl walking away from him. Even the girl didn't stop her footsteps from hearing Lucas' words.

"Why do you avoid and try to hide when you meet other people?"

Both of Ryn's eyes were wide open, the mermaid girl had now completely stopped her footsteps. A flashback to the memories he had forgotten for decades suddenly forced a scene in his head. Ryn's breath felt tight, reflexively he touched the part of his heart that throbbed pain.

Lucas walked up to Ryn, not until both of his footsteps had managed to get close to the girl. He was already confused by Ryn who was unconscious all of a sudden. Lucas catches Ryn's petite body, both of the girl's white cheeks looking wet. Looks like Ryn just cried.

"Well, I think Suri's right" The handsome man nodded his head repeatedly. "You are weird!"

That was the word that came out from the lips of the handsome man, he paid no heed to the shabby clothes worn by Ryn. He easily lifted up Ryn's small and thin body.

Look at this frail body of yours! Don't you ever eat? - Lucas.

Lucas takes Ryn home because he does not know where Ryn lives, although Ryn's body is not too heavy but the distance between his house and the beach is quite time consuming and laboring.

In front of the door of the large house, Suri who was carried by Nany stood there while waiting for her father to return home. Suri's two eyes constantly stared out of the fence, hoping that his father would come home soon because it had been a very long time since Lucas left the house.

"........." Suri's forehead wrinkled when he found the father was holding someone ala bridal style. Both of his eyes noticed the figure of the girl his father had brought home. After Lucas arrived right at the door, Suri smiled happily without saying a word.

I know you'll take her! - Suri's mind was carefree.

"Who is this, sir?" Nany, who was holding Suri, followed Lucas from behind.

"You just ask Suri, she says this girl's her friend"

"Friends??" Nany looked towards Suri which Suri only answered with a nod of her head and a blink of an eye. "Oh, friend??"

Nany chuckled softly, as she knew why her little miss looked happy when she saw her father bringing another girl home. This is because Suri never liked Wendy, her father's girlfriend. Seeing the blink of her little miss's eyes, it seemed that Suri had another intention behind the pleasure.

"Hey, why are you two throwing such smiles at each other?" Lucas stopped right at the first rung, his two eyes glaring at Suri and Nany in turn. Unknowingly, apparently from earlier Lucas noticed the two people behind him.

"No" Suri looked the other way, pretending not to know. "W-who's smiling?"

"Curtain!"

Lucas threw away his face in annoyance, he continued to walk back to the room. The main room, where it was the room he had to sleep in.

Down there, Suri and Nany do a tos to celebrate the happiness of both of them. This is a step, not usually Lucas will bring a girl to enter his room. Even Wendy, the girl he had been dating for three years, never got a chance to just breathe in her room.

"You see that Nany?" Suri smiled broadly, "Papa brought her into the room"

"Yes, miss, I saw it" Nany said with sparkling eyes.

"Papa's next step will be in love with her"

Nany was surprised to hear her little miss's statement, the woman just smiled sweetly then rubbed Suri's head so gently. He took Suri to his room and asked the little girl to go to sleep.

"Oh, jeez!" Lucas noticed that his arms were now flushed red, right after he put Ryn's body on his bed, he immediately felt a pain in both hands. It's the same with him doing fitness exercises every week.

The man then smelled his own scent that felt sticky due to sweat. Lucas immediately went to the bathroom and prepared a bathtub for himself.

In the silence of her already soaking in the bathtub, the man gasped in shock on his own. Lucas patted his forehead repeatedly until the redness appeared there.

On the other hand, both Ryn's eyes and forehead appeared to be wrinkled. That girl is having a nightmare right now, isn't she! It was not a dream, it was a bad memory that he deliberately pendam and longed to forget.

Ryn's breathing panted, both of his hands touching his head that hurt. Not even the pounding in his heart disappeared, he was made shocked by his presence on a luxurious bed like the property of a sultan.

Oh my's... Where am I? - Ryn.

Carefully, Ryn lowered both of her legs onto the floor. The floor is so cold because the owner of the room deliberately turns on the air conditioner with a temperature that is as cold as its nature. The blue-eyed girl was crazily looking for the exit of the room, there were too many doors in the room. Ryn was very sure that the door that lined up neatly on the right was a closet, wasn't that what a rich man's closet looked like? They would keep all their clothes behind a wall that was about the same size as half their room.

The sound of running water was faintly heard in both of Ryn's ears, the girl immediately approached the door where the source of the sound was heard. Ryn stuck his left ear to the surface of the door and heard the sound of water rustling, the girl immediately moved away from the door.

"God! Is there someone bathing in it?" Ryn was shocked as he closed his own mouth.

In a hurry Ryn found a place to hide, he had no idea that he was now at Lucas' house. All Ryn had in mind right now were negative-smelling things, he was very afraid just in case it was a bad man who wanted to mean bad to him.

The blue-eyed girl hid under a table not far from Lucas' bed, the table where Lucas had to put his laptop. At least the other side of the table was able to cover Ryn's body to avoid being seen by Lucas.

Wait up! Why am I hiding? Can I kill him easily? I can even erase her memories as I please - Ryn.

The sentence filled with flames from inside Ryn's heart, suddenly disappeared when the sound of the bathroom door opening reached his ears. The beautiful girl immediately curled up in fear while hugging her two legs so tightly.

Lucas' eyes went straight to the top of his bed. He was surprised to not find Ryn in there, but the traces of Ryn's existence are still there, like a matted bed sheet used to be occupied by a creature called man. Waitaminute! Is Ryn human?

Lucas let out a long sigh, the man shaking his waist as he looked around. "No thanks!" Omel Lucas and immediately tidied up his bed.

Under the table, Ryn tried to steal the attention towards the man who was standing not far from where he was hiding. The man looked so fresh from having a bath, his scent was very good to inhale. Unknowingly, Ryn pinched his nose in a fit of rage, shaking his head repeatedly and trying to rid Lucas of his scent from his sense of smell.

Why does he have this body scent? - Ryn.

"Ehem!"

Both of Ryn's eyes were rounded, as Lucas found himself hiding under the table. Lucas looked coldly as if he wanted to molest the beautiful blue-eyed girl.

"What are you doing down there?! Get out!!"

Slowly Ryn crawled out from under the table, eager to pinch his two eyes so sharply at him. A pity... Ryn can't do that at the moment, thinking how tall he is and Lucas is very different. Even if carefully observed, Ryn's two hands were only able to touch the chin of the man. Maybe he could touch his cheeks and eyes, even if Lucas was willing to bow his head for him.

"Don't let me repeat my question twice!"

"M-sorry...." Ryn lirih. "I-I thought I was in a bad place"

"Place that went wrong??!!" Lucas' words imitate the end of the sentence thrown by Ryn, but full of emphasis. "You think my house is an illegal place?"

"M-sorry...."

"God! You are so outrageous!" Ledek Lucas was upset, he threw his face the other way. At a glance, the man glanced towards Ryn. The blue-eyed girl kept her head down, her fingers tightly clenched as if she did not feel comfort near Lucas.

Whatisthis? Do you feel uncomfortable being around me? - Lucas.

"What's your name?"

"What?" Ryn turned his head to look at Lucas who did not even return his eyes.

"your name! What's yourname?"

"D-Deryne's..." Ryn lowered his face again. "Master can call me Ryn"

Ryn huh?? - Lucas.
