"HEY, ARE YOU ACTUALLY TALKING OR NOT?!"

Good Lord! My ears. - Ryn.

Ryn's face pouted at the handle of the phone in his right hand, a reaction formed by a clash from Lucas that shocked Ryn. The girl immediately took a deep breath and tried to speak as softly as possible.

"Sorry sir... Uh! I mean, sorry Lucas!" Ryn twisted the phone cord with his left hand. "There's an extra class at Suri's school, and Suri just called. He said, school hours are the same as your office hours, he asked to be picked up"

"That's all?"

"Yes" replied Ryn quickly, "Then, I'll see you at home!"

CLAP IT!!

(Call closed)

At his office desk, Lucas's face looked so very red. The man rubbed his handsome face violently while smiling happily behind his hand, for some reason? There was a strange feeling in his heart that made the man's lips constantly smile.

"Basic!" Maki Lucas with a still blushed in embarrassment.

See you at home?!- Lucas.

"It could be that he said such a thing without feeling anything" Lucas grumbled softly. The man then hit the surface of the table while continuing to cover part of his blushing face.

Ryn crouched down in front of the phone table hugging both of her legs. The blue-eyed girl was hiding her face between her knees and chest, her whole body feeling weak after she realized her mistake.

"I could have said 'til I see you at home'. Why can't these lips sync with my brain anyway?!"

Nany walks up to Ryn, after a long time the girl is silent at the phone table. "What's Ryn??"

"ah! Na-nany..." Ryn gasped in shock and immediately stood up. "There's nothing"

"Hows it? What did Mr Lucas say?"

Ryn glanced around, trying to avoid eye contact with Nany. "He didn't say anything, but I've said everything Suri said"

Nany smiled slightly, the old woman then touched Ryn's cheek that felt smooth in her right hand. "Then, why is this face flushed?"

"HUH?!" Ryn hurriedly closed his own lips which reflexively shouted. "My face is not red!" As Ryn touched her cheeks, the girl turned around so that Nany could not see her face.

"Cummer..." Tempted Nany with her laugh. "No need to be shy, love can come to anyone! You just have to take it"

"But! What's this Nany talking about?!" Ryn said angrily, the beautiful mermaid then walked away from Nany. "Love, love! I'm never gonna like Lucas"

"Well if you want that, but does your heart say the same?"

Ryn ran up to the middle-aged woman and touched Nany's face with both hands, Nany could clearly see the red hue that emerged from Ryn's face. The woman smiled even more with Ryn's cute demeanor.

"Please, Nany don't talk like that! What if Lucas hears it?! I don't want to make trouble with that weird guy!" Pinta Ryn pleaded. "I say again, I don't like Lucas"

"Hohoho, Okay!" Nany put her index finger to her lips, and then blinked one eye at Ryn. "If this? Don't you like it either?"

Both of Ryn's eyes shone brightly after knowing what Nany was up to with her hands, the girl hugged Nany with both hands and thanked him.

"Donate!" Ryn lirih. "Thank you Nany"

Nany gives Ryn the doughnut package, and sees how happy she is to receive the cake from him. Ryn walked into the kitchen happily, at times he sounded like singing, but his singing felt not so foreign in both ears of Nany.

"It seems like I've heard such a chant" muttered Nany softly.

Nany follows Ryn who is now putting the donut in the refrigerator, the middle-aged woman also put some food in the refrigerator.

"Why did you keep it? Aren't you eager to eat that cake?" Nany asked while continuing to arrange some ingredients, such as meat and vegetables.

"I want to eat it tonight, when I can really relax" said Ryn sumringah. "I want to enjoy this donut as best I can"

"That's weird" ceplos Nany honestly. "Like you really appreciate that perforated cake"

"Of course!" Ryn smiled happily. "It's been a long time...."

"Hmm??" Nany looked at Ryn who was suddenly bowed listlessly. "What?"

"I hadn't eaten a doughnut in a long time" unbeknownst to Nany, in both of Ryn's eyes were already several clear crystal grains piling up. "It... My favorite food and Papa's"

"Where's your papa?"

Just as Ryn was surprised by Nany's question, the girl turned to look at Nany who was waiting for a response from her. Visibly, Ryn's lips trembled slightly as she wanted to speak.

"D-he...."

Nany rubbed Ryn's head gently, as if she knew what the beautiful girl in front of her would say. The old woman pulled Ryn's body into his arms.

"It's okay, it goes without saying" said Nany softly. "I understand! Don't worry, everything's gonna be okay"

GRAB!!

The blue-eyed beautiful girl returned Nany's embrace tightly, Ryn drowned her face on the old woman's shoulder. He was struggling to hold back his tears that wanted to come out, Ryn could not cry at this moment, because his tears would soon become pearls when they dried. The girl was really trying to hide her identity from the people around her.

"Thank you, Nany..." Ryn said, then smiled.

The sound of the phone ringing indicates an incoming call on a woman's phone, making her a little afraid to just stare at the screen of her phone. Wendy took a slow peek at who was contacting her at the moment.

Her panicked face turned bright, knowing that it was a call from her lover, Lucas. Hurriedly the woman picked up her phone and immediately cleared her throat to change her tone to look weak.

"Darling? Uhuk! Uhuk!" Wendy said as she picked up the phone.

"What?!" Both of Wendy's eyes were round, the look on her face now became less pleasant when Lucas casually said that he could not stop by her apartment.

"Why?! What's wrong?! Is that other thing so important? To the extent that you can't wait to see me?" Wendy asked expectantly, confident that when she pleaded a little, Lucas would run to her.

"................"

"Suri?! Doesn't she already have a nanny? Why didn't he just pick her up?!" Wendy's tone of voice started to rise, the girl was really upset. If the enemy is Suri, then he will always lose because Lucas will always choose the boy. Therefore, all this time Wendy always tried to be kind to Suri so that she got more attention from her lover.

"Yes, yeah! All right, I get it" replied Wendy relented. "I'm fine, I still have the energy to take care of myself, be careful while driving! I love you"

Wendy clasped her phone so tightly, her two eyebrows linked together as it held back the turbulent emotions in her heart.

"Basic! Why is that crippled bastard always bothering me?!" Wendy is upset. "I think he should know who he's really dealing with right now!!"
