Chapter 22

Ariana opened her eyes, the first thing she saw was a white room. He is alive, not that he should be dead. Ariana closed her eyes, she felt that there was no point in living. Who saved him? Inner Ariana whispered. Did Chris save her?

He looked around for Krishna's whereabouts. He did not find the man, his heart was a little disappointed. In his little heart he wanted the man to be here holding his hand. He missed that guy.

Just as Ariana was about to close her eyes, the sound of footsteps approached her. Ariana was silent to see Krishna walking towards her. But Krisna's reaction was like not happy to see it, making the guts shrivel. He was nervous as the man looked at him sharply. Does that guy hate him? Does that man not love her anymore?

No more love. No more tenderness from that man. Ariana was claustrophobic, it felt like her life was no longer meaningful.

Krishna stood beside his bed. His eyes continued to look at her but not a single word came out from there. It was quiet without sound. Ariana did not dare to greet him, he was silent.

Krishna turned around to leave. That's when Arian ventured to reach for Krishna's shirt, he pulled her closer to make Krishna stop.

"Don't go." Said Ariana softly, her voice still feels hoarse. He was crying and expecting the man not to leave.

Krisna kissed Ariana's hand. "Don't do that again." Chris could not hide his anger.

"You know I'm angry! I don't like it! And I'd hate you if I tried to leave me by any means."

"You know it's not suicide it's a sin. And you may commit sins that will make you hate God. Are you ready to face God with sin. I can't imagine that, imagining the woman I love being hated by her God. You know life is a wound, even if you think my life is happy, but I'll never be happy if I see my loved ones hurt. Then I'll get hurt too." Krisna said sadly, she hoped Ariana realized her words. I want Ariana to get better.

"You just have to trust me. Ariana." Krisna just needs Ariana to believe it.

"I will always protect, no matter what. Can you trust me?" Ariana nodded unconvinced but seeing Krishna's earnest face grew a bit of her trust.

"You don't have to worry about anything anymore." Krisna tried to calm Ariana down and she wanted to protect this girl with all her might. No matter what happens. He would try to do that for this girl. Ariana is the most beautiful gift God has ever given her and she will not let tears flow on this girl.

"Mother" said Ariana.

"I've been taking care of her funeral. We can meet him if you're cured. We'll have a funeral together."

"Love you." said Ariana.

Krisna smiled hearing that, she could not hide her happiness anymore. Ariana was beside him. The girl he loved.
