Women's Backlash Considered Weak
Sharpen Capability

~Bab 12~

Dominic has given Elliot enough room to speak, and he has become a listener now frowning out his thoughts.

There was a sense of disapproval he wanted to express, but considering the young man before him was his own nephew, who had a blood tie so thick he decided to consider Elliot's wishes.

“How is Papa, shouldn't we still appoint Kenard as our gangster leader? I don't think there's anything more fitting than him.” Xavia tried to make sure that the father was not affected by Elliot's words.

Although he disagreed, Dominic chose to refrain from scolding the nephew. In front of everyone Elliot would lose his good image if all that happened.

Dominic's gaze intimidated, he coldly asked,

“Elliot, tell me honestly, what exactly makes you unhappy if Kenard leads the fight, other than the reason of not having blood ties? What makes you dissatisfied?”

Elliot glanced at the appearance of Kenard who was now standing firmly in front of him wearing a blue shirt and black pants that were also waiting for an answer from him.

“Say, Elliot?” dominic is impatient.

Elliot urged his lips to rise upwards forming an arch as he lifted both shoulders.

“I think he's too young. And not too experienced to face an enemy that is quite big name, I am sure he will not be able to, you have been wrong to choose it! Only a fool would trust a man like him,” Elliot said screeching still staring at Kenard here.

Anyone who was there could definitely catch the, dislike aura embedded in Elliot's face.

“Kenard isn't what you said, Elliot. He has lived with me for a long time, and he has also helped Black Horses a lot!” dominic refused.

He growled to hear Elliot humbling Kenard. That means it is the same to have doubted Xavia's choice. He clenched his hands, taking a step forward would scold his nephew, but Xavia quickly held him back while shaking his head faintly preventing him from nearly losing control.

“Just leave it to me, Papa,” said Xavia softly, calming the anger of the papa.

With a tagap face, the curly haired woman stood right in front of Elliot and said,

“Good, so that's the reason for your dissatisfaction, Elliot?” She nodded her head making Elliot look even more annoyed.

“Look, since you are not satisfied, then how about we hold a competition between you two? I think it's fair enough, to judge, which one deserves the lead, or which one deserves to be a follower.”

Elliot smirked underestimating Xavia's challenge.

He shakes inexhaustibly. “You're kidding me? Of course I wouldn't be willing to accept such a silly challenge!” reject it.

The gang members who were there also nodded. The idea that Xavia gave was brilliant enough that they supported Dominic's daughter's decision.

“I think you're very right, Miss Xavia. There is nothing more deserving than to fight to show who is worthy of being our chairman,” said one of them.

“Yes, he's right. Better they both do the competition, this will be fair.”

“You heard them, didn't you? Elliot, are you so scared that you're rejecting this challenge?” sergeant Xavia accidentally gives a spark of fuel making Elliot's mind heat up.

Xavia knew what kind of person Elliot was. He would not stand it if someone humbled him.

“How, Elliot? Don't you want to change your mind?”

Staring sharply at Kenard while grinning thinly, feeling arrogant. He would render Kenard powerless, so those who had previously chosen him would bow their heads in shame over Kenard's defeat.

“Kenard, do you agree with my idea?” ask Xavia.

The tall man Kenard looked at Elliot for a moment, no less cold. “Of course agree, Xavia. How could I waste this opportunity?” kenard said with a cold smile.

“Good, they will arrange the competition for you,” said Xavia.

...

At midnight it was cold in the city centre, but it did not apply to the people in the fighting room. They were busy shouting in support of their respective heroes, until the longer the air felt hotter.

Similarly, felt by Elliot and Kenard who were in the middle of the fight area, without wearing top clothes only wearing trousers.

Xavia and Dominic stood right beside the betting area, watching firsthand the fight that had taken place.

Elliot looked at Kenard fiercely and growled. Kenard used to face it. Fending off all of his extremely fast and agile attacks.

The situation heats up when Elliot manages to kick Kenard to a fall. Proudly in the middle of the game Elliot raised both his hands up, as if the match had finished and he was the winner.

“You all see?! I'm Dominic's heir, then I'm the one who deserves it!” he screamed while circling around the area.

One punch that hit his face meant nothing to Kenard. He wakes up easily, puts up a fight back on Elliot, hitting back so their score is the same.

The fight has been going on for a long time, the results remain balanced. Kenard fended off and attacked with a tapat, and vice versa.

Elliot stared cynically while grinning. He was not satisfied with this, educating the powerful kicking neck Kenard, one of the prohibitions they should not have done in fighting.

Lucky Kenard quickly dodged. Replying to hit the face easily up to many times. Not only stopping there, Kenard turned his body in a forward leg jump style kicking Elliot's chest to make the man fall helpless.

Everyone who formed the circle watched the match was cheering, the game was over and Kenard was the winner.

While Elliot was squeaking irritated with some bruises on his face. He had to accept this defeat.

“Yeah, I expected, if you'd win!”

Kenard supporters cheered happily one of them raised one hand of Kenard proudly. Simultaneously Kenard looked here right Xavia walked over while smilingly approaching him.

“You are so cool, Kenard, after a long game, you can finally beat Elliot! I did not choose wrong, if you are indeed more deserving than anyone,” he praised proudly.

Between wanting to answer or smile, Kenard's cheeks flushed to hear the praise coming out of Xavia's lips, able to pierce the heart. Kenard's heart was now so happy that it involuntarily prompted his body to embrace Xavia.

But when his bare body clings to the girl's body, it fails. When he suddenly saw Dominic both hands were clinging behind his waist, standing right beside Xavia Linn.

“Mr Dominic since when was there,” his murmur no one heard.

He chose to hold back, slightly reducing the distance from Xavia's position before him.
