WOMEN AND GRAVES

WOMEN AND GRAVES
THE IDOL POET

“You adore love too much, so you forget, that wounds can also be jealous,” Gemala said making the lovers cheer. “I say this, because I've lost,” he continued, before he actually pulled the trigger.

It all starts with crying and coming back to crying. For Kumal himself, the first cry appeared, as he bowed before Arin, in order to weep for his submission. Little kumal doesn't want to be a loser, he wants to learn to read and write his own name.

Fortunately Arin was willing, he made Kumal as a friend or maybe even a friend. He made Kumal stand up, wiped his tears, and then nodded his head in agreement. Really, how happy Little Kumal heart was at that time.he was like seeing a glimmer of light behind the smile of a little girl.

Arin reached out the hand that Kumal greeted hesitantly. When their hands had clung to each other, he pulled Kumal and ran along and out of the public cemetery. It's like running from death.

The little girl took Kumal to her house, a house not too far from the public cemetery where Kumal and father lived. Arin introduces Kumal to his mother. Back then, Bu Yunit's body was still slender and she was a virgin-like widow. “This is your friend, Arin?” asked Bu Yunit who was greeted by a quick nod by Arin. “What's your name, Nak.”

“Hem...,” Kumal hesitates to name a name. She was too beautiful despite being a widow.

“Cumal, Mom. G. Kumal Aksara,” Arin took over to introduce him. “He's very shy, Mom. Said Uncle Anggi, he is also a loser.”

“Hus!” Bu Yunit broke the disrespectful speech of his daughter. “Cumbers are not losers, Son. He was just shy to show his courage.”

I heard that compliment. And since then, she has loved Bu Yunit, a beautiful, kind mother. However, Arin's response was different, he did not want Kumal to be too magnified. “But still, Mom. For now Kumal is still a loser. He can't even read and write his own name like me,” reply Arin is less liked by his mother's praise.

Bu Yunit rattled his little girl's hair screeching. “Alright, it's up to you. But remember, son, never do evil to your friend. Later, you even have no friends at all.”

Arin sneered at those wise words.

“Alright, mommy wants to cook first. Hi Nak Kumal, later eat together here, yes,” Bu Yunit leave. I nodded in approval sign.

After Bu Yunit left, Arin took Kumal to a room behind his house. I thought, Arin was going to do something weird. However, upon reaching the room, he saw a scene he had not yet encountered in the grave. The room contained neatly lined shelves. Hundreds of books are sitting on those shelves. It's amazing, but baby, Kumal can't read.

It turned out that Bu Yunit had a hobby of reading. He likes to buy books, even though all his money must be exhausted because of buying the book. He was infatuated with books, beyond his madness with men. For him, books do not lie like the mouths of men.

He collected the books he bought in the back room, and it was very helpful for Arin as well Kumal. Surrounded by a row of books every day, make Kumal eager to diligently learn to read. He wanted to read the books in the room. He wondered what kind of adventure he had in the books.

“A.R.I.N read?” ask Arin who is acting like a teacher. I spelled it out without protest.

“Arin!”

“Beauty!”

“If these two words are put together. Read?”

“Arin Ugly!” Kumal sneering. He did not want to say Beautiful Arin, because it would make the little girl blush in embarrassment. Yes, but otherwise, now Arin is very upset. He left Kumal and made the boy learn on his own. Kumal apologizes, and Arin forgives.

They learn and play together every day. They were very close and they decided to be friends. They did not think that someday their friendship would become love. Yes, love.

And because of Kumal's perseverance in learning, he was also proficient in reading and writing. However, Little Kumal prefers to read rather than write. His dream to explore the books in Bu Yunit's book room materialized, he just needed to get started.

As a result, Kumal is more interested in books than the teacher Arin himself. I went back and forth to the room to read. He read a lot of books and he knows a lot. He read many fiction books such as novels and poetry collections. From there, he was met by the poems of a famous poet named Gemala.

Gemala, he always mentioned that name in the igau. Kumal fell in love with the poems of the poet Gemala. He read all the Gemala love poems. Out of curiosity, he also looked for a book that discussed the life of Gemala while alive. He's mesmerized. He dreamed of becoming a poet like Gemala.

And of course, that made Anggi Kusuma anxious. However, he himself had no right to forbid Kumal to stop reading the verse or even become a poet. “Do you want to be a Poet, Son?” ask your father one day.

“Of course, I will not stop chasing the full moon, until I die of cold though,” Kumal reply steadily, he tried to practice one of the verse temples of the Gemala Poet he had read.

Anggi kusuma was jolted to hear the verse, the bitter memory dregs still stuck clearly in the head. However, again he does not have the right to manage the life and adventures of the child. At the end he said, “Alright, son. But be a good poet, yes.”

Smile was on Kumal's lips, he was very happy his father blessed his dream.

Kumal rushes to Arin to tell him about the blessing, and Kumal also wants to read Arin a love poem he met in the collection of Gemala poems. Even though they are children, the love that Gemala spreads will always bloom for anyone.

Every day I get intoxicated by your smile.

Smile no, fight me with longing.

Then created a bruised scar on my pink cheek.

I suffer, nothing, because my mischief is full of love.
