Widow of the Choice of CEO Duda
Part 87: Mama Regretted

While she was enjoying the fresh air this afternoon on the balcony of her room, her husband had not yet returned home from the office. It's possible that Edgar is very busy considering that tomorrow he will be back for permission for the next few days.

The sun was standing on the sidelines, leaning his hand on the perimeter. He stared at the densely populated city.

In the middle of his silence, the phone he had placed on the table rang. The mentor immediately saw who called him.

''New number?'' muttered. Mentari put the phone back because he did not know the number.

However, a moment later he grabbed it again after recalling his former in-laws.

''Hallo Dira, this is Mama.'' from across there.

Mentari immediately took a deep breath.

''Yes Ma..''

The woman started her conversation very warmly. Revealing her sweet-sounding longing, Mentari listened carefully and pressed the record.

''Dira, ah by Mama Mentari.. Mama wants us to be really like we used to be, to be one good family, whole.''

''Mama knows, Mama used to be so wrong, so did your husband. Mama regrets all that, baby. Mama's days are always haunted by guilt with you.'' he said with a sobbing voice.

Mentari was still listening carefully, looking forward to what the former in-law would say again.

''You hear Mama's voice, son?''

''I listened to everything, Ma.''

Mentari yelled, cried, and scolded the woman. Wh why? why just say sorry, where have you been all this time?

Forgiveness is a lack of sincerity. The disappointment and pain allowed Mentari to read the entire body language of her family-in-law.

However, Mentari can still control himself so as not to be ignited emotions. He should remain calm, as if accepting and not suspecting what the woman will do.

''I told you that I forgave everything, Ma. Especially for my late husband, however he needs forgiveness to ease his way there.''

''You are indeed a good child, Mama regrets, Mama boddooh has hurt you.''

''Mama has lost Nando, Mama doesn't want to lose you, son..''

''Mama wants you to think of Mama like your own birth mother. Mama also thinks of you as your biological daughter. Whenever you want to meet Mama, Mama is very happy.''

Mentari took his breath deep again.

''Thanks Ma. But, as my husband said, I can't be free. Even if there is no urgent business, I have to get out of this house just while with him.''

''No papa Nak. In the meantime, talking like this over the phone, Mama's been so happy. Finally Mama can chat again with Mama's daughter-in-law.''

The sunari smiled at her smile.

''Ma, it looks like my husband is coming home, I will welcome him. To be connected sometime again yes.''

''Oh yes son, thank you very much for your time.''

The woman stopped her phone. Mentari stared at the screen of his own phone and then put it on the table.

Mentari also did not know whether her husband had come home or not. It was just his alibi so as not to linger talking to Nando's mother.

''Have you finished calling?''

Edgar's voice immediately made Mentari turn her head, her husband was standing in the middle of the door with a suit that had been opened. Only leave a long shirt whose arms are bent down to the elbow.

''You hear me, Mas?'' ask Mentari while moving.

Edgar walked forward.

''No, I just came. Who called you?'' ask Edgar.

The sun looked at her husband a little scared. She was afraid when she saw her husband being emotional.

Realizing that, Edgar immediately grabbed the wife's hand.

''I won't swallow you alive, don't be afraid..''
