Part 290: I Can Just Make It

As soon as he got home, Edgar did not get out of the car. He remained silent for a moment, trying to calm his feelings and brain. He did not want his attitude to make Mentari worried. He took a long breath and exhaled it many times.

"Sorry, baby, I can only make it happen now that our journey has come this far." Edgar murmured with a faint smile.

"I'm sorry, I didn't move any faster" he continued.

Edgar breathed again, then got out of the car.

''Lho, Mas? how come you're home?'' tanya Mentari who heard her husband's voice while he was in the kitchen. He rushed forward to make sure.

"Yes, I miss you.' whispered Edgar who made Mentari blush in shame.

The couple went straight to the room. Upon arriving in the room, Edgar took off his clothes, while Mentari made a warm drink for the husband who was certainly tired.

''Thank you, dear.'' said Edgar who was sitting on the balcony.

Edgar just smiled, then looked into the air, looked back at his wife, and looked straight ahead again while exhaling his breath.
