Who You Choose, My Husband

Who You Choose, My Husband
7. Who You Choose My Husband

Have you ever felt isolated?

That's how Arsys feels starting today. Judging from everyone's treatment was so painful for him. Yes, Laila was declared pregnant and her husband and family were so enthusiastic.

"From now on you can't do anything. There's an Arsy who'll help. Isn't that right, Sy?" Sandra's mother's question made Arsy a forced smile.

Arsy can't say anything but smile. In addition to feeling alienated, he also felt that God was unjust. Why is she not pregnant at this time?

Her body was riveted while Haris hugged her body. It was clear that happiness was in his eyes. "Mas," he then chuckles at Haris's behavior. Her husband hugged tightly while shaking his body right and left.

"Laila's pregnant, Arsy. We'll have a child" said Haris, still hugging Arsy.

Arsy is confused as to what to say to Haris. Wouldn't Haris' words make him sicker? Why does Haris seem to be sharing happiness with him who accidentally watering the wound that is still wet.

Lord... What should Arsy do at this time? Should he be disappointed? Is she happy because Haris is happy?

Yeah, she's happy because Haris is happy. As sincere as his love for Haris.

"Congratulations, mas. You're great," quivered Arsy's lips saying that. Why isn't she pregnant? Is it true what they said to him? That he is the one who is troubled, he is the one who cannot give Haris offspring.

"Daris. The pregnant one is Laila, you know. Not Arsy, it should be Laila who gets your hug." Sandra's mother's reprimand made Haris break her embrace while looking at Arsy fixedly.

Arsy smiled then nodded. He knew he had to be in the wrong state. It is not why from today Haris will spend more time with Laila for the happiness of Haris himself.

"Mas still loves me, doesn't he?" Laila asked Haris when she was in the room.

Haris changed his pajamas and sat down next to Laila. "You already know the answer. Go to sleep, after you sleep. I'm going to Arsy's room."

Laila looked sullen but was unable to do anything. Haris is not that easy to comply with his request. He knew Haris was like that because he had to be fair to him and to Arsy. Laila often felt jealous of Haris' attitude.

"I want to be accompanied by a mas tonight" whined Laila.

"Sleep."

Laila could do nothing but comply.

****

While in Arsy's room, already preparing to welcome Haris to his room. It was on her request to take care of Laila first. No more asking her pain and jealousy.

Of course it has doubled and tried to be patient over it all. For the sake of her husband. Even Arsy also helped Haris treat Laila who experienced morning sickness.

Even though you always feel isolated. Still Arsy steadfastly served them all.

However, until late at night Haris did not arrive at his room. The breath sounded as if it knew the reason. Arsy sat on the edge of the bed. To swallow his flat stomach without being filled with the seeds of his love with Haris.

"Why aren't you here, son?" Mumbled.

Arsy got up and changed his pajamas. He could not sleep, preferring to open his laptop. Since Haris married again and he decided to wear a veil, Arsy began to pioneer the business of Muslim fashion. Still pioneering so make it have to work hard online.

Haris himself knows the business he started.

The next day, Haris enters Arsy's room and hugs her from behind.

"Astaghfirullah, sir. Just be surprised." Arsy did not know the arrival of Haris because he had just finished praying.

"Sorry, my mom." Haris Mumbled.

Arsy parses his embrace and turns to face Haris. Disappointment from his eyes. "What can I do, Mom? What can I do when everyone's attention isn't on me? I was always the bad one in your eyes. Sick, mas."

"I'm a woman, mas. I also have a heart that always hurts to see my husband making out with other women. My heart ached when I found out that my husband's love wasn't for me" Arsy fell to the floor crying as he breathed out the lingering pain.

"Arsy," said Haris in front of Arsy.

Arsy hit his chest that felt tight. It is very difficult to reach the word 'ikhlas'.

"Mas Haris." Pekik Laila from outside Arsy's room.

"Bag!!"

Arsy rubbed his tears violently. In the face of Haris who was silent but his eyes occasionally glanced towards the room door. He got up and then took off his face. "Go, mas. Laila needs you."

"Orsy." I heard Haris feeling guilty.

"Later 10 o'clock between Arsy to the Text Factory, mas."

Haris approaches Arsy and gives a kiss on Arsy's forehead. "OKAY. I'll take you at 10." Of course Haris was happy because it had been a very long time not to pick up Arsy.

Arsy tried to smile after Haris said that. He knew very well if Haris felt guilty would be more and more careless.

***

Outside the room, Haris saw Laila already looked pouted. "What's up, Laila?"

"Why would I still sleep?"

"Mas has to go to Arsy's room, Laila. You have to remember that today is the time to go with Arsy."

"But I'm pregnant, mom."

Haris took a long breath. He was led by Laila to go down to the ground floor. "Mas knows. Didn't mom, mom, Arsy take care of you? Please understand the position, ma'am. Don't be like this," Haris looks frustrated with Laila's attitude of getting spoiled after getting pregnant.

No dislike of Laila's indulgence. It's just that it makes him feel confused to take a stand for his two wives.

During Laila's pregnancy, Rahma's mother, Sandra's mother, and Jannah's mother often visited her home. No problem baginy, because it will feel calmer when he works and Arsy pioneered his business.

"Laila, this is your pregnant milk." Sandra's mother gave her a glass of pregnant milk when Laila was already sitting at the dinner table.

Haris wondered why the attitude of Sandra's mother also looks not sad as Arsy.

Arsy had just arrived at the dining room when everyone was there. As usual if it is Arsy's turn then Haris will be served in such a way as usual.

"Thank you" said Haris smiling at Arsy.

"Mas. I want her heart pardon, dong." Pinta Laila was spoiled when Haris had just started breakfast.

When Haris was about to get the food Laila meant, Arsy prevented her. "Let's Arsy, mas. Just continue eating." Arsy took the heart of the ampella and put it on Laila's plate.

But Laila doesn't like it. "Mas."

"Let Mas Haris have breakfast, Laila."

"But I want Haris to take it."

"Easy-after. Haris, get me what Laila wants."

"But not good, ma. Mas Haris is eating" said Arsy to be understood.

"You've never been pregnant. So you'll never know what it's like to want something out of your womb."
