Who wants to be polygamous?
Of course Haris didn't want to for fear of being unfair. Indeed, in the beginning of marriage he admitted that there was another woman's name before marrying Arsy. But, after marrying Arsy never once though he found out or seek the existence of the woman of his past.
Indeed indeed. The woman of his past was not an ex-lover because she had never dated any woman. Haris admires Laila because she often met in the study from the time she was still both continuing her education. There was no intense interaction. Just admire each other.
Three years ago, in front of Jannah's mother. Haris proposes to Laila alone. Of course both are happy. Haris' plans after that day will bring Laila home to be introduced to her parents. But alas, his late father has betrothed himself to Arsy. The young girl he knew first, the son of Mama Rahma's best friend.
Not the reason children are friends but Arsy is considered a child by the late father. Of course that's because Arsy often plays to his house.
With a heavy heart Haris conveyed the circumstances that made him and Laila must separate. He did not want to be an ungodly child and would hurt these two good-natured women.
Eventually Haris married Arsy. Honestly, he did not hate his wife. Arsy is a good-natured and kind wife. Provide all the needs of his birth and mind. Therefore Haris also refused to polygamy every mother Rahma and mother Sandra asked. He did not want to hurt his wife. Even now still feel wonder why Sandra's mother is so enthusiastic in choosing a second wife for her.
Haris also just found out if the mother chose Laila as Arsy honey from the recommendation of Sandra's mother.
What he felt was not only happy because Laila had become his wife. But, the other side of his heart felt pain seeing Arsy like that.
On the night of her bride with Laila. He listened to Laila's happy heart he could marry. He was a good listener that night.
Until almost midnight, Haris came out of the room and saw a glass of green tea on the table near her room. Immediately guilt rushes in the heart. Look at his first wife, she's so considerate. If asked to choose, he did not want to hurt his first wife.
He drank the green tea and put an empty glass in the kitchen. After that, somehow the footsteps brought Haris to the second floor precisely his room and Arsy. He entered the room slowly, seeing the bed still empty. Haris is sure that Arsy is asleep again on the bed. And sure enough, Arsy was already asleep on the prayer mat.
Haris saw the remains of Arsy's tears and it managed to make his heart ache. He took his wife slowly and moved her to the bed. In the rubbing of the remaining tears it then let his wife's forehead be very soft.
Haris should be happy but why does her chest feel so tight.
Haris returned to his room with Laila. He was surprised to see Laila had changed lingerie.
"Where's the gas?" Tanya Laila.
"Mas out see Arsy in the room. Why wake up again?" Ask Haris.
"It's our bridal night, mas. I was looking for you."
Haris took a long breath. "Sokay there's still time, Laila. I don't want you to be tired" Haris refused. He could have done that tonight. But his heart is not okay. There is a perceived worry.
Laila looks silently on Haris' back. "What is the feeling of mere talk? Has love moved into Arsy's heart until he won't touch me?"
Hearing Laila's question became pias. He finally complied with Laila's request.
By morning, Haris had asked Laila to wear a hijab to cover her wet hair. But, presumably his second wife was uncomfortable because of wet hair wearing hijab.
When first seeing Arsy coming down from the stairs with the appearance of all closed in addition to both eyes. For the first time Haris was fascinated to see Arsy. Arsy walks over to her and Laila. Ah, it is very clear that Arsy's gaze was very disappointed in him, especially seeing Laila's appearance.
Haris's heart also aches when Arsy refuses her offer to take her to visit her father. This was the first time that Arsy had rejected his offer and for the first time he could not be Arsy's resting place while weeping before the father of Revelation.
How wicked I am.
