Jayadi immediately got up from his seat after hearing Erwin's words. Then he stood firmly staring intently at Erwin.
Jayadi's reaction to Erwin's words certainly put me and Boris on standby, keeping watch for the worst possible outcome; defeat, or I'd rather call it a fistfight.
"Hey Jay's! What does your reaction mean?!" erwin asked, the tone of his speech was rising, and now I'm sure everyone who was outside the instant cake flour brifing team, heard the commotion that happened. Jayadi did not answer Erwin's question, he just kept staring hard at Erwin.
"Jayadi?" called him. When she looked at me, I saw her face flushed red, her anger already peaking. For a moment I thought, it was too late to stop, Jayadi's anger towards Erwin who always lowered his subordinates, no matter his subordinates, threw all the blame to his subordinates, the wife-piercer, the wife-puncher, and now plus Jayadi's rejection of Erwin and Lela's immortality (something I should have done), overflowed. I had a disagreement with Jayadi, several times, and only the debate that led to the decision to silence each other that usually happens. Erwin's shout towards me further spurred Jayadi's anger to a higher level, and his mamacunya to run towards Erwin with all her joy. Fortunately, with swiftness Boris was able to hold Jayadi's body by hugging him. Seeing Jayadi held in arms by Boris's stocky body, like a cowardly swordsman who wanted to steal an opportunity, Erwin stood up from his desk chair, approached Jayadi, and immediately pointed his fist towards Jayadi's face. But, I don't know because of luck? Jessica who was closest to the three of them managed to push Erwin's body until he faltered, almost falling. Erwin briefly looked at Jessica's face with the same anger as his anger at Jayadi. Perhaps the only reason that kept her from doing anything bad to Jessica was the realization that Jessica was pushing her body to break up a fight.
Seeing that something bad was still going to happen, I quickly walked over to the commotion. Passing Lela who stood speechless looking at the barbarians who wanted to smash into each other with her frightened face.
Erwin stared warily at me who was walking towards him, "want you, Ben?!" he asked, loud, yet trembling. I didn't respond, I just walked past him, walked up to Jayadi and grabbed him tightly and took him out of the briefing room. But when I had just reached the front door of the room, quick footsteps rang out from behind me, and as I expected, when I faced back, Erwin was running towards us like an animal. This time I don't know who he's after, me or Jayadi? But I know what I have to do, strangle him.
The fingers of my right hand strangled Erwin's neck, while the fists of my left hand, I clenched strongly to prepare to give him.
