“I'm sorry, marry me. Be a part of the person I will always look after”.
Arriving at the hospital. Some officers swiftly approached Indra's car while carrying a push gurney for Nadia, then immediately brought inside.
Indra followed from behind to help push, Nadia was taken to the ICU room. While Mira uses a wheelchair, driven by Alan following from behind.
Mira was taken to a different room to be dealt with immediately. Mira's face looks pale and limp. She continued to cry in a hoarse voice, her tears not coming out were already exhausted.
“I want to see Nadia.” Mira said in a makeshift voice.
“You should be treated first,” says Alan trying to calm down.
“I don't want to. Take me to Nadia's sister, Mas.” Pinta Mira crying.
“I want to see Nadia.” Mira continues to whine asking to be taken to Nadia's room. Alan could not bear to see Mira's condition.
“Suster, let me take her to her sister.” Alan said to an unfinished nurse putting on an infusion.
"Okay Mas, if you can do it for a long time," replied the nurse. Alan just nodded.
Then quickly Alan took Mira to Nadia's room accompanied by a nurse in a wheelchair. From a distance Indra seemed to be waiting in front of the room.
“How is Nadia doing, Om?” Said Alan.
“He's still handled.” Reply Indra.
Indra is no less anxious, his face illustrates the concern for the brother of his son's friend.
The doctor and two nurses came out of the room. Alan and Mira immediately approached them.
“How are the patients, doc?” Alan looks anxious, as well as Mira and Indra.
“We are sorry. The patient cannot be saved. He had incision wounds deep enough to hit his vital organs. It also makes the patient bleed out.” Obviously a doctor with a lethargic face.
“Sister Nadia.” Shouted Mira with a hoarse voice. Reflex, Alan hugged Mira who was still sitting in a wheelchair. Mira looks very limp.
Mira's sobs broke the silence around the ICU room. He seemed devastated to hear the doctor's words. Alan was still hugging her, Mira's crying voice slowly disappeared inaudibly, Mira was unconscious.
“Mira?” Call Alan. Alan's clothes were wet with the rest of Mira's tears. Alan kept calling out to him, but there was still no reply from Mira. He's pinsan.
The dawn service has just finished. The hospital atmosphere is still so quiet. Several officers were forced to leave the hospital mosque.
This was the hospital when Via was treated for an accident first. The hospital pretty much keeps Alan's memories with Mira.
Slowly the sun rises from the eastern horizon. His golden light began to shine on the hospital courtyard, and warmed every patient room. One by one the lights in the hospital were turned off.
The morning passed quickly. Not feeling the clock on the wall of the room Mira showed nine o'clock more.
Mira is still unconscious, but her clothes have been changed to hospital clothes by nurses. The infusion hose is still attached, his face is starting to be fresher than before. However, his eyes still looked red-and-black because they shed too many tears.
Suddenly Alan woke up from his sleep. There was Mira who closed her eyes. He rubbed his eyes, looking at Mira's face deeply, recalling every single incident they had gone through.
First meeting in this hospital. Alan slightly smiled so little as he remembered it.
Mira's face looked shady, Alan did not see Mira's face. Suddenly a fly perched on Mira's soft cheek, Alan tried to chase her away but the fly remained in place.
“Hushh, go. Just a comfortable place.” He said, but the fly was still in position.
Alan rolled his eyes to make sure no one was around, then he tried to take the fly away. But, not until it touched the skin of Mira's cheeks, suddenly Mira slowly opened her eyes. Alan quickly pulled back his hand.
“Mas Alan.” Mira sees Alan in front of her.
“How are you? Which one hurts?” Said Alan.
“I've done nothing, Mas.” Mira answered with a lethargic face. He turned his face away from Alan. Alan breathed.
“Your sister is buried. Poor to be left for a long time. Om Indra has taken care of everything. Your grandmother and Mamah also come with Om Indra to take care of your brother's funeral.” Obviously Alan. Mira's tears flowed back without a sound.
The weather looked clear that morning. The sunlight barged into Mira's room until the atmosphere felt warm.
Mira was still in her position, turning her back to Alan who was sitting beside the bed.
“Mira,” Call Alan.
“Sister Nadia strong woman. He cares deeply about his family, even though he's always been angry with me, but I know he cares deeply about me. He's my idol. Brother Nadia is like the sun to me.” Mira said while holding back her sobs. He kept his face away from Alan.
“I'm sorry, I've been mean to you all this time. I regret. You have the right to hate me.” Alan said full of guilt.
“Sister Nadia never taught me that.” Alan was silent to Mira's words.
All this time he was indifferent to Nadia because she was disappointed and angry after knowing what Nadia did with her father without looking for reasons Nadia did it all. It turns out that this is all the behavior of his own best friend, Dito.
“On the last night I spoke to him. Brother Nadia looks so in love with you, Mas. Before, he never talked to me about men. That night, Nadia seemed to be a lot of burden on the mind. She is hated by the people she loves, for reasons she never did. But, he could not tell the truth because of the safety of his sister and grandmother who would be a bet.” Clearly Mira while enduring her sadness.
“Did you never think of that? Other people can also love their family as much as you.” Mira added for a moment to look at Alan's face and then throw his face back.
“Mira. I realize I was wrong. Let me pay for all my mistakes,” Alan looks very guilty.
“With what?” Mira again looked at Alan's face which suddenly looked shady filled with sincerity.
“Married you.” Said Alan firmly.
“Marry me, Mira.” Added Alan. Mira was silent at Alan's words, she turned her face away from Alan's eyes.
The atmosphere of the room immediately felt so quiet, only the sound of seconds clock on the wall that adorned the silence of Mira's room.
