“The sun will not appear at night, but the moon gives a beauty that is not much different”.
That morning, Alan stopped his motorcycle in the back parking lot of his campus. During the trip he kept thinking about his dream of Mira last night.
Alan looked both worried and curious. Last night he tried to be unconcerned about his dream, but he couldn't. Alan was curious; why suddenly he had such a dream about Mira.
The morning weather looks bright. The color of the sky on the roof around the campus is bright blue. The clouds in the sky were clumping together to form various kinds of things.
Arriving at the class, he did not see Dito. Alan goes to the campus cafeteria to find his best friend, but in the cafeteria he doesn't see Dito there. Then Alan tries to reach him, but Dito turns off the call from Alan.
“Why is this boy,” muttered as he continued to try to contact Dito, but he turned off Alan's call again.
Alan's back in his class. Suddenly the first lesson went on for so long for Alan that morning, his dream last night continued to cross into his mind. He kept thinking about Mira.
“This heck,” Shouted Alan in the middle of the lesson is underway.
Of course it stole the attention of the contents of the room, including the lecturer who was explaining the material. All eyes turned to Alan who was sitting in the back corner seat.
“Why are you, Alan?” Said the lecturer who felt his delivery was cut off by Alan's shout.
“It's okay, Sir.” Alan was confused.
“Then what did you mean just now? You don't like my material?” Add the lecturer.
“Not so, Sir ..” Reply Alan.
“Please get you out now.” Cut the lecturer firmly.
“But, Sir.”
“Alan. Out,” Alan closed his book and out carrying his bag. The eyes of his friends led Alan out of the room.
This was Alan's first experience during his college years. Issued by lecturers without being given the opportunity to explain.
He looks pissed. The sunny morning weather was not the same as Alan's mood and thoughts that day. After a night of being made unable to sleep, and coupled with being kicked out of class, made Alan furious.
“Mira,” Overtime.
He took his phone and called Alin.
“Hallo, Alin.” Call Alan.
“Iya, mass. What's up?” Reply to a woman from behind the screen of a cell phone.
“You're again on what campus?” Said Alan.
“Yes, it's Alin again in class. Why, mas?” Reply Alin, heard some voices of his friends.
“Mas want to ask, your friend who was there at that time?” Ask Alan, to the point.
“Means Mas Alan, Mira?” Answer Alin make sure.
“Yes, is he there? Mas want to talk for a moment,” Reply Alan looks doubtful.
“Today Mira did not enter, mas. Alin also does not know, usually he is diligent.” Obviously Alin.
“What's up, Mas?” Added Alin, curious.
“Nothing ko. Yes already thanks yah.” Alan looked disappointed.
“Ciee ... Mas Alan likes it Alin,” Goda Alin on Alan. Alan just smiled a little.
“She's a good woman, and many like you, Mas.” Added Alin, teasing.
“Ya already, later Mas your phone again. You learned the real.” Alan said trying to divert the conversation.
“Siap, mom. Later Alin convey to Mira if Mas Alan nyariin, hehe.” Then Alin turned off his call.
Hearing that, Alan ran small towards the rear parking lot where his motorcycle was. He gasps into Nadia's house to meet Mira.
“Assalamu’alaikum,” Say Alan. Not long after, there were footsteps approaching from behind the door.
“Wa’alaikumsalam.” Sharifah opened the door and welcomed Alan so kindly.
“Nadia she hasn't come home, dek.” The old woman, guessing. Alan was silent for a moment, while on campus he also did not see Nadia.
“Not, grandma. I'm looking for Mira. Is he home?” Alan explained his purpose.
“She's not around, looks like she's coming with her sister.” Sharifah to Alan.
“Please wait, let's go in. Soon they will be home.” Syarifah added while showing the clock on the wall of the living room that shows at 10 noon. Alan just nodded.
“Good, grandma.” Alan went inside the house and sat in the living room.
By late afternoon the weather outside turned dark. The color of the sky around the house turns into a deep gray. Clouds on the roof of the house are like ready to drop rain very heavily.
Alan again saw the clock on the back of his hand has shown 1 o'clock more. Three hours he waited at Mira's house. The tea in front of him that he had been drinking in half turned cold.
“Where they are, this hour is not yet home.” It was from Sharifah out of his room, after leaving Alan to perform dzuhur prayer.
“Where are they, grandma?” Said Alan.
“Grandma don't know. Since morning grandma hasn't seen them both.” Sharifah.
“But, this morning Nadia called said she was going home afternoon.” Syarifah. Now his face looked worried thinking about the situation of his two grandchildren.
Alan tried to contact Dito, but his phone was off. Then he tried to contact Nadia. Alan seemed hesitant after recalling his treatment that day.
“Assalamu’alaikum,” A woman's voice from behind the door.
“Wa’alaikumsalam.” Sharifah and Alan answered almost simultaneously.
It was Nadia. Alan immediately stood up from his seat looking at Nadia in front of the door. Maybe he found out after seeing Alan's motorcycle parked in front of his yard.
“You want what you are here?” nadia asked Alan.
“Where's your sister?” Tukas Sharifah's.
“Nadia doesn't know, where is she?” Nadia.
“From morning she is not in her room, grandma thought come with you.” Sharifah clearly looked worried.
Seeing her grandmother, Nadia then took her phone in her small bag. Then he calls Mira to find out where she is. But not picked up by Mira. Nadia tried it again, still not lifted by Mira. Then Nadia tried it once again, and finally lifted up.
“Lo want to mess with me?” Say a man from behind the screen of a cell phone.
“I mean, lo what? Where's my sister?” Nadia said after hearing a male voice from her sister's phone. He knew who the owner of the voice was.
“Lo thinks I'm a moron. Your sister is the same me, if you play games, I can turn your sister without her life.” The man threatened Nadia.
“Please don't mind my sister. I will follow all wills, lo.” The man laughed so crisply. Nadia looked so worried. Alan who heard that was curious.
“Indeed it should be so. You're just my boy, so don't fuck around. Your brother's life is in my hands.” Say the man again, again threatening.
“Please, turn on my sister.” Nadia pleaded. The man laughed again.
“So you already know everything. I want to give him a gift first, and I also sent your old grandmother a gift.” Then the man turned off his call unilaterally.
Nadia's tears fell down her face, she looked at her grandmother's face deeply. He seemed to love his sister and grandmother very much.
He was confused not knowing what to do. This made Alan and Sharifah curious. Along with that, heavy rain fell on the ground around Nadia's house.
“What's up, Nad?” It was from Alan.
"Mira was kidnapped" said Nadia.
