“There are many imperfect things in this world, man is one of them”.
By nightfall, the rain still looks very heavy flushing most of Bandung City. His roar was like the sound of hundreds of horses running around.
The large road that became a vehicle crossing seemed to have been crowded by various vehicles, walking densely creeping through heavy rain in the afternoon leading up to that night.
Alan was still at Nadia's house. He and Sharifah were astonished to see Nadia suddenly crying after contacting Mira. Nadia looks confused about what to do, Alan tries to calm Nadia and then tells her story.
“Why you? What happened to, Mira?” alan asked Nadia. Nadia was still crying.
“Why with your Brother?” It is from Sharifah.
He was also no less curious after seeing his grandson cry.
“Grandmother should go from here.” Nadia said to her grandmother. After hearing the threat from the man who picked up the phone, Nadia worried about her grandmother's safety.
Alan was curious. He's not usually that intent on something, and he doesn't usually care about it in Nadia's life. Alan wants to know what really happened to Mira and Nadia's family.
“Why you? What really happened?” Alan asked Nadia again.
“You still believe in me?” Answer Nadia. Alan just silently heard Nadia's words.
Nadia rushed into her room to pick up some of her grandmother's belongings. Shortly after, Nadia came out with a small bag.
“Where are we going?” Tukas Sharifah's. The sound of the rain was rumbling, getting louder and louder.
“If you want, your grandmother can be brought to my home.” Alan's Proposal. Nadia was silent for a moment, she seemed hesitant, but there was no other choice. If looking for lodging in the rain was certainly impossible, he was worried about his grandmother's condition.
“Good.” Nadia said after thinking hard.
“I want to find a taxi. You wait here.” Said Alan.
Then he went out of the house in the rain.
“Wear this,” Nadia gives Alan an umbrella. Then Alan went out to find a taxi.
BRAAKK, not long after Alan left, a large parcel broke through Nadia's window. The parcel was covered in blood so that it was red.
Nadia grabbed and opened the parcel slowly, her premonition was already not very good. After it opened, Nadia and Sharifah shouted almost simultaneously. There is the corpse of a rabbit that has been covered in blood tied together with a photo of them and Mira.
Lightning struck along with Nadia's scream. He thought it was a gift meant by the man on the phone.
“What's up?” It was from Alan. He saw a parcel in front of Nadia and Sharifah. Alan was no less surprised to see that. He came out of the house turning his head in search of the gift giver, but he found no one.
“Let's go from here.” Then the three of them got into a taxi to Alan's house.
It was getting dark perfectly. The rain is getting worse on the streets. The taxi drove so slowly down a slippery road that was wet with rain water.
Alan leaves his motorcycle in the front yard of Nadia's house, and leaves together in a Taxi. Previously, Alan had told Nia that he was with Nadia going home.
Shortly after, they arrive at Alan's house. The taxi stopped right in front of his house. From the windshield, Nia approached the taxi with two umbrellas.
After paying the taxi fare, the four of them entered the house. Nia guided Sharifah with great care. He looked at each other with his son full of meaning.
Sharifah looked cold. He was still in shock at what had just happened at his home. His picture with his two grandchildren covered in the blood of a rabbit carcass, is still in his memory.
His gaze was blank and his body was shivering. Nadia hugged her grandmother so tightly. He felt he could not bear to see the state of Sharifah.
“Mother, please drink the tea first.” Say Nia while lifting the glass that contains her warm tea. The body of Sharifah is still shivering, his face looks pale.
“Nadia. Your grandmother is cold. We better move it to aunt's room. Let him rest.” said Nia full of concern. Nadia just nodded, then they took Sharifah to Nia's room. Alan was silent for a moment to see his mamah behavior to Nadia.
The heartbreak spoken by his mother that morning was true, not just the word out of his lips, but sincere from his heart.
After bringing Sharifah into her room, Nia left Nadia with her Grandmother. Nadia seemed to love Sharifah very much. He kept holding his wrinkled grandmother's hand.
“Let Nadia be with her Grandma.” Nia said to Alan after coming out of her room.
“Yes, mah.” Answer Alan.
“Where is it, mah?” ask Alan. Ever since he got home, he had not seen his sister.
“He's asleep. She was scared because there was lightning, so my mommy put her in her room.” Obviously Nia. Alan just nodded.
“Lan. What really happened to Nadia?” asked Nia curiously.
“Alan also doesn't know for sure, mah. Nadia cried after calling Mira. Then there are people who throw rabbit carcasses into his house, and there are photos of them there.” Obviously Alan. Nia looked surprised and concerned.
Alan could not bear to tell his mother, that Mira was actually kidnapped.
“What might anyone terrorize Nadia,” Said Nia trying to guess.
“Maybe. But for sure, Nadia is like hiding something.” Reply Alan.
The night is getting late. But the rain still sounds very heavy. Nia went to Via's room to accompany her son. He was worried that suddenly Via woke up.
Meanwhile, Alan looked very tired that night.he dropped his body onto the living room sofa. Suddenly he accidentally finds Nadia's phone left in the living room. Alan took it and headed to Nia's room to return Nadia's phone.
Om Indra is Calling …
Suddenly, Alan stopped seeing the name in the notification of Nadia's phone call.
“Om Indra?” Alan was so slow.
“You're going to Alan's house?"
"It's getting word, Om."
After the call was not picked up, Indra sent a few short messages. It makes Alan know, Nadia tells Indra that she is going to Alan's house.
Instantly the events when Alan caught Nadia's affair with her father crossed Alan's mind. He looks very surprised. His face showed such deep disappointment. Alan paused his intention into Nia's room, and again dropped his body on the sofa.
"Sorry Om just reply," a message from Indra.
