William's Fear

William has made a decision, he will demean his ego so that Saira does not carry out his threat. Halena was also in her husband's office.

"Lena, where's Eve?" ask William while flipping through his documents.

"I told Aunt to call him."

After a few minutes, a housekeeper came with a worried face. Halena and William were a little astonished looking at him.

"What's wrong?" ask William firmly.

"That's Master, Miss Evelyn isn't in her room."

William was a little surprised while Halena was already panicking. They immediately headed for Saira's room, the first time Halena did was check the wardrobe. Halena's heart sagged as she did not find a single piece of clothing there. William also looked surprised to see it. Tasma and Chloe also come there and they smile. They believe that Saira has left this house.

"Will, how is this! I don't want to lose Eve again!" yelled Halena hysterically.

"Lena, relax! I'm sure Eve didn't go far. We'll find him."

"Em, Will, can we go look for him?" tasma asked who got the nod from William.

"Rican! Rico! Shouted William from the second floor. The man who looks mash tamoan at the age of forty years was running away in a hurry to William.

"What's up, sir?"

"Prepare the car now!" William said firmly.

"Good, Sir."

Rico immediately prepared the car. Halena was crying in her place. His daughter promised not to leave him. Then what now, he was even left without a say.

"Will, how is this! I'll die if I lose Eve again."

"Darling, don't say that, our daughter will definitely be found. I'm sure he's just sulking."

"Will, try calling Alyne maybe she knows where Eve is."

"Yes for a minute" said William, taking his phone out of his pocket and looking for Alyne's name.

Alyne is shocked to see the father of her boss calling her. What should he say about Saira who does not want to know her whereabouts. Alyne picked up her phone with trembling hands.

"Good Morning, Sir. Can I help you?" alyne asked politely.

"Alyne, is Evelyn in your house or is with you."

Lyne's lips twitched between having to tell the truth or lying. If he was honest then Saira would hate him. However, if he were to tell a lie then his big boss would be furious. It was as if he was being told to swallow the fruit of simalakama. Alyne tried to neutralize his beating heart with an irregular rhythm.

"Sorry, Sir. I don't know anything about Miss Evelyn."

"Are you sure?" ask William to make sure.

"I'm very sure, sir." Alyne held her struggling heart.

"Okay, thank you."

Alyne exhaled a sigh of relief after the call ended. It feels like he's just been terrorized by a life-extracting angel. Saira came out of the bathroom and looked at Alyne with a questioning face.

"Eve, the big boss just called and asked me."

"Then what did you tell him?" ask Saira curious.

"I say according to what you tell me. But my heart beats with the grind and I feel guilty Eve."
