Stories of the Past

Saira exhaled and then threw it away. Enjoying every gust of wind caressing her face by slowly closing her two eyes.

"The girl you saw earlier, she's my sister, Romeo. Then the patient named Wawa is my mother."

Romeo was surprised to hear, "Isn't your Mama in Australia? Why can you have two Mama."

"Because I'm not Evelyn!"

Romeo was about to turn his body. However, Saira forbids.

"Please, don't turn around. Just leave it like this, I'll be a lot more comfortable."

"All right," said Romeo. He let his body be rested by the girl who had stolen his heart.

"Then who are you?" romeo asked, for some reason he hoped Saira was just asking him to joke or something.

"Saira, that's my name, I'm the youngest of three children. My story is too long to tell, but you're gonna poke me if you don't tell me everything" Saira said, trying to hold back tears that were about to fall down her cheek.

Romeo laughed crisply. "Now you're starting to find out how I am."

"At first everything was fine, my family loved me so much, what I wanted they always gave me. Then my brother introduced a man as his lover. You know, I fell in love with him at first sight." Saira smiled in remembrance of this. While Romeo looked silent and heard carefully.

"My brother was very smart, on graduation day we went on vacation to the top and you know what I did? I framed her boyfriend so I could have him." His breathing began to feel tight, but he continued.

"Maybe you'd rate me as a disgusting woman and that's all true, I'm really disgusting."

"Papa knew it all and from that night all love turned into hatred. I made everything fall apart, I thought their hatred was just for a moment. But my guess is very wrong. That hatred lasts forever."

"Then what about your husband?" ask Romeo at the end.

"She wasn't looking at me at all, every eye we met, just the hatred she showed. Different when I look at my brother. All full of love. And so does all his family. There's only one woman who doesn't judge me."

Saira's breath was cut off, destroyed Romeo's defenses. He immediately hugged the girl's body which looked very fragile.

"Already, don't tell me if it hurts so much."

Saira shook her head, "I'll continue."

Take a breath and throw it away. The eyes of the two meet and Romeo strongly dislikes the fragility presented in Saira's eyes. The more he dived, the more he felt the sorrow he had experienced.

"Every day I accept all insults from all sides. There's nothing I can put on my back, I'm tired and desperate. But my mind kept strengthening in order to stay afloat even though it was very painful. Then my cousin sister asked to leave everything but I refused subtly."

"Until one time, my brother was in an accident and needed a kidney donor as soon as possible. You know, I had acute heart disease and my age won't be long. I decided to make the first sacrifice for everyone's happiness. Lastly my husband begged and I granted, I did love him, but could not let him cry let alone beg.

Slowly Saira starts to tell her past, she can finally fall in love too.
