Namira is still in the afternoon class and Rido is very diligent waiting for her. It's been a week this has been going on. Rido discussion has always been about marriage even though Rido's livelihood comes from this foundation and some formal schools only as freelance teachers. Not nothing but as if he was too presumptuous to discuss marriage as if it were all easy. On the other hand, Namira's days are still around looking for work. Bank Az seems to be opening a vacancy.
"Am I following my mother's wishes?" his inner. Namira felt he would not pass the interview. There is no harm in signing up.
Two days later a phone call came in from an unknown person.
"Am I talking to Namira Inggrid?" ask for a voice across.
"Yes right."
"Related your application at Bank Az is being processed. Can you do a job interview tomorrow at 10am?" said that figure.
"Yes I can." Reply Namira.
"Well I wait at the Az bank of the Peninsula branch. My name is Adrian. Thanks for the time." The phone is also turned off.
Namira sighed. On the one hand he likes this but on the other he gets nervous.
The awaited day arrives. Namira drove towards the Az bank of the Peninsula branch. The journey takes 45 minutes.
"Well, I've got to get used to this trip so far." Say it in the heart.
Nervousness enveloped him. But he was surprised to find a narrow room in it.
"I'm sorry, I'm Namira. I want to see Adrian."
"Oh, please sit down. I'm Adrian." A friendly gentleman with a tall posture allowed him to sit down.
"I'm not the head of this branch. I am the assistant division head. Pratama will soon be interviewing Namira." Said sir Adrian.
"Good sir." Sahut Namira's.
Not long ago appeared a man younger than Adrian sir.
"Hi, introduce me Pratama." He is a very friendly man.
"I'm Namira Sir." Namira.
"Just relax here. As you can see, we are an all-male team and we are very relaxed in this branch office. Namira is free to call us sir or mas. So this is still the interview stage. We will evaluate and report to the center. About three months later, you can join. Doesn't it matter?" Pratama Terang.
Namira seemed to think hard. Why is it so long three months?
"Am I accepted?" tanyanya doubt.
"Yes. You must have been accepted. We will work on the process as soon as possible. But if in the middle of the process of waiting there is another job offer, please that Namira's right to choose which one." explained Pratama. Namira just nodded. After that, he was asked to go to the headquarters. Bank Az has its headquarters in Delta City where Namira lives. It was only five minutes from his home. He went through the same thing: interviews. Everything went well.
On the sidelines of the time to wait, Rido still asked his readiness to get married. It's been a long time looking up Namira.
"Ria, does Rido not know if I don't like him?" Namira pours her feelings out to her childhood friend. Since teaching at the same foundation, they have become familiar again.
"Either. Just leave him alone. His thinking now is marriage because he is older than us by four years. For him, marriage is a competition. Love can grow over time. So little more is on my mind." Obviously Ria.
Namira has always refused dinner from Rido. Even if he visited Namira to his house, he was normal. Sometimes he said he had slept especially because the hours of teaching Rido had just finished at 9 pm.
Week by week passed. Rido came with the strangest news.
"Hi, I'm getting married next month." Suddenly he started a conversation during a lecturer meeting at the foundation.
"Congratulations Do!" Ria.
"Where's he doing?" ask Ria to find out.
"He just graduated High School. My student." Answer's relaxed.
Sontak Ria and Namira look at each other. That means his future wife is 9 years younger.
"When I asked him and his parents, they agreed. For them, aren't I mature and established?" Terang proud.
A silly thought and starting this second makes Namira sure that never judge anything from the outside including from the age.
"Have you thought about the dowry and reception fees?" Ria tried fishing.
"Silver rings alone are more affordable. There's no dowry other than that. Then there was no reception. We'll just get married." Answer lightly.
"That's lucky for you. Rarely would a woman want a once in her lifetime marriage so flat. Not even a small party? Were we invited?" exciting Ria.
"Unfortunately no. I will be attended by our family only so that the cost is economical. Especially the catering costs." Evidently. The head of the foundation is silent. Actually he knew Rido borrowed the foundation money to get his marriage.
"Namira, it's a good thing you're not the same as him." Ria patted Namira's shoulder. There was a strange sense of raging in the heart of the girl. But he still convinced himself that he was very lucky not to be with Rido. Moreover, his overly relaxed thinking made Namira feel very unsure of the future of the man.
When Rido is busy with his wedding, Namira is busy with her new job. The back and forth of Peninsula-Delta made him quite tired in his first days of work. In one small team, he, Pratama, Adrian and both marketing staff turned out to be very familiar. The office is only theirs. No wonder they buy snacks together, rest as they please without caring about the hours they should, and take an afternoon walk together when the office closes. Although Namira is the only woman, she does not feel alien. No overtime work. All of his teaching schedule that was moved to curfew was not neglected. Two weeks later, Pratama gave a small announcement on the sidelines of the small office activity.
"Adrian, Arnav has a plan here." Her speech.
"Why did he come here? Didn't he?" Adrian asked a little nervously.
Pratama turned towards Namira.
"You're ready." His word.
Namira is confused by the meaning of the word Pratama.
"Friends announcement! Today Mr. Arnav wants to visit here. Let's show us our compactness! Although we are relaxed but our achievements are brilliant!" pratama.
Everyone greeted with applause. Namira took the initiative to clean the office including the bathroom.
"One woman really changes the atmosphere of the office huh." Said Tristan, one of the marketing staff. Namira just smiled. Just at lunchtime, a car pulled up at the door of the office. The room has been perfumed by Namira. AC was set in such a way as the temperature. A man about 170 cm tall got out of the car and headed for the door.
"Good day!" His words were then welcomed by Pratama.
"Hi! Welcome to our club!"
"Sir Sani, you can come in or go first." Her speech.
"Wah, the head of the Micro division at the center has a private driver huh. Really great!" Puji Pratama's.
"I paid a visit to a subsidiary that recorded good achievements this month." Answer the man.
"What is the secret to having a credit customer who is not recalcitrant and disburse very neat files?" inquiringly.
"We have a new admin. Namira, this is Arnav. Arnav, it's Namira."
The woman gave a clumsy smile while Arnav only caught a glimpse of her.
"Well, your work is very relaxed. Without shoes, food on the table. Perhaps this is also one of the success factors." Arnav starts new talks. It is quite noticeable that he is not too interested in Namira nor his achievements.
"Oiya, when Dira is on leave, I ask your admin to replace Dira. Although I'm not sure why he left. It seems like he won't be coming back. Sayonara is on your admin." Arnav patted Pratama's shoulder with a smile.
