I let out a breath.

Even with qi, my concrete is shit. I need to do some more testing with ratios. I know most of how this should work, so if I keep doing it, I will probably make it in the end.

Until then, it looks like we started with a rock. I'll try and finish the new house before it snows…. But that might not happen. I know these things always take longer than you think, and I've worked on a few houses in the Past. The foundation is a sure one, though.

I sighed in satisfaction, and sat down, putting my feet into the river water. Big D join me, and shout “Cock-a-doodle-doo!”

“Tell them, Big D.” I muttered, and started scratching my butcher's head. Like a guard dog, but more cruel.

The thought took me. I grinned, got up, and took a stick, a chisel, and a little ash.

I put my work proudly at the gate of the Fence, and then went to dinner.

Fish tonight, from the river, with Spirit Herb and asparagus.

Delicious. Peppa and Chunky get leftovers.

I crawled into bed feeling so well tired, and breathed in with satisfaction.
