The Tragedy of Ningrum

Since returning home from Raden Dito's funeral, Ningrum has been crying incessantly.

Raden Ayu Ditha who saw Ningrum was devastated, became very worried.

Already this week Ningrum shut himself in his room, Raden Ayu Ditha did not dare to leave Ningrum alone.

Anum, Raden ayu Ditha, and the servants took turns to accompany him.

Raden Ayu Ditha was worried, afraid that the Ningrum trance event would repeat itself.

This afternoon Ningrum was out of the room, Anum was behind him.

Ningrum seemed to be smiling.

Ningrum just nodded his head, he was grateful to have a family that paid so much attention to him.

"Ningrum is sleepy Mother, Ningrum wants to sleep.but tonight there is no need to be accompanied," said Ningrum staring at Raden Ayu Ditha.

" Mother doesn't want you to be alone Ningrum..," replied Raden Ayu Ditha still looking worried.

" Just for tonight mother, tomorrow-tomorrow whatever mother says," Ningrum sulked.

"Let it be Dinda, Ningrum is fine" Gusti Arya said.

"Well just for tonight" Raden Ayu Ditha finally relented.

" Ningrum said he wanted to sleep," Ningrum then headed to his room, he already looked sleepy.

Ningrum laid his body on the bed, drowsiness he could not bear anymore.

Ningrum was sound asleep.

In the middle of the night....Ningrum slept uneasily.

He felt the heat, the sweat had flooded his body.

Ningrum woke up from his sleep, his head was in great pain.

"Ningrum.end your life," whispered in his ear.

"Raden Dito is waiting for you somewhere, go with him," the voice increasingly clearly sounded in Ningrum's ears.

Ningrum covered his ears, he shook his head which felt like a prick.

"Ningrum, don't you love Raden Dito anymore?"

"Go away..," the voice became clearer in his ears.

Ningrum recalled his good times with Raden Dito.

He really misses Raden Dito.

"Mas Dito.

" Is that how little you feel about Raden Dito?" whisper that voice again.

" Mas Dito, I love you so much.." cried Ningrum.

"Then follow him Ningrum, Raden Dito is waiting for you," the voice continued to whisper in Ningrum's ear.

Ningrum shuffled from his bed.

"Ningrum quickly did..," the voice commands it in his ear.

"Mas Dito.

Ningrum stepped towards his closet, looking for the long scarf that was inside his wardrobe.

Ningrum felt like someone was guiding him to tie the shawl to the wood above his bedroom window.

Ningrum climbed up the bench that was there.

Then the shawl that had been tied to the wood on his window was placed on his neck.

Ningrum did so following the order of the whispers in his ears.

"Kick Ningrum's stool," the whisper voice commands.

Ningrum kicked slowly at the bench he was riding on, Ningrum's eyes glared upwards.

He felt a strong giggle around his neck from the scarf he was tying.

Ningrum's floundering legs held back the tightness as he could not breathe.

Then the flutter on his feet stopped, his body hanging with eyes that swerved upwards and tongue that stuck out.

In the afternoon, Raden Ayu Ditha was worried because it was noon this time Ningrum had not come out of his room.

Tok.shock.

Raden Ayu Ditha knocked on the door of his daughter's room.

"Ningrum..," call Raden Ayu Ditha.

Silence.there is no say from Ningrum's room.

"Mother in, son." cried Raden Ayu Ditha.

Still no lawyer, Raden Ayu Ditha pushed the door of his daughter's room.

Locked from the inside.

Raden Ayu Ditha could not enter.

Tok..

He came back knocking on the door.

"Ningrum...wake up Nak..already noon..," Raden Ayu Ditha was increasingly anxious because there was still no answer.

"Raden Bondo's....Kanda.come here for a moment," Raden Ayu Ditha cried out in panic.

Raden Bondo and Gusti Arya who heard Raden Ayu Ditha's call with a crush approached Raden Ayu Ditha.

"What's the Mother?" Raden Bondo asked.

"Brack down the door of Ningrum's room." asked Raden Ayu Ditha.

" Why Dinda?" gusti Arya asked in surprise.

" I've been shouting for Ningrum, but from earlier there was no voice for Ningrum kanda...Dinda was afraid of anything happening to Ningrum," Raden Ayu Ditha replied worriedly.

Gusti Arya knocked on Ningrum's door, but still there was no answer.

"Bondo just broke Ayanda." Raden Bondo then forced the door to Ningrum's room.

Of course with the effort of many times because the door of Ningrum's room was made of a very strong teak door, it was not easy to break down that door.

Gusti Arya helped his son who seemed to have difficulty breaking down the door of Ningrum's room.

With the power of the two of them, finally the door of Ningrum's room could open as well.

Their eyes widened to see the sight that was plastered before their eyes.

Raden Ayu Ditha immediately shouted hysterically, so that Anum and all the servants in their house who had been busy with their respective tasks, came to see.
