Voices From Other Realms
Pursuing....

The bangs stop. The tail stands upright.

Dino looked at the figure in front of him

with amazement....

The figure also looked at Dino with his head held high.....

The two beautiful horns that branch off perched above the creature's head.

The body is big strapping four-legged, hairy shiny brown.

The creature was watchful watching Dino.

Dino raised his rifle, he pointed his gun muzzle right at the creature's head.

The creature stared intently at Dino, Dino holding the trigger of his rifle trembling, doubt filling his mind.

The male deer in front of him was very gallant, beautiful with its shiny brown fur. There's a pity if the big deer dies in his hands.

There is an inner war in Dino's heart, between feelings of affection and the feeling of still wanting to shoot for money.

Dino fancied how much money he would get if he sold a deer with beautiful horns from the creature in front of him.

He will be paid handsomely, not only because of his large flesh but also from the beautiful horned skin and head of his game.

He will sell it to a container of wild animals, especially because of the beautiful horns of the head that are usually used as wall hangings, the price is certainly very tempting.

Dino immediately swallowed his saliva imagining the amount of money he would receive if he could bring home the big game, like a beautiful creature in front of him.

Dino pointed the muzzle of his rifle right at the chest of the large animal and was ready to pull the trigger.

Dorrr.......

The animal was wounded and covered in blood, he struggled to get up and then he desperately ran away...

The bangs barked loudly, he ran in pursuit. Dino who had been dumbfounded came running to follow Poni.

Traces of blood dripped along the thickets they passed, turning towards the large rocks.

Dino was surprised, he felt his shot was right about the heart of the animal.

But the animal, though painstakingly able to get up, ran away from them.

Behind the rocks, the blood trail leads towards the large trees standing in line in front of Dino that resemble a gate.

The bangs kept running following the blood trail with Dino in tow.

Dino managed to catch her breath, for some reason she felt that the large tree array she passed with Poni looked different from the previous big trees.

Other large trees are not too close between one tree and another.

While the trees that Dino passed through here, like forming a neatly patterned row like a gate.

Suddenly Poni raised his tail, he stopped running and roared.

The bangs behaved like never before, like seeing something that could only be seen by his eyes.

Dino approached Poni then gently rubbed his back.

"What's up?"

The bangs barked, I don't know what he saw. It was as if he was answering a question from Dino.

"Let's go after the bangs, the big deer's been hurt. It won't get far."

Dino walked following the trail of blood, while Poni beside her followed Dino doubtfully and fearfully.

They kept walking towards the blood trail without realizing they were getting further and further away from their gathering point spot with Andi and Wendi.

They also do not realize the day begins to crawl towards the afternoon and soon the night will come...

\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*

Andi and Wendi have returned to the gathering point as they promised.

Besides because it was already noon, their stomachs were struggling to be filled.

Andi lit a fire in the stone furnace they made, taking out a pot that was already filled with water. Prepare to cook instant noodles.

" Apes is right our fate this time, had to eat noodles again," said Wendi.

" Somehow with Dino, hopefully he managed to bring the game," Andi said.

" It's noon this way he hasn't shown up here either" Wendi said again.

" Maybe a moment, bro, we'll just wait."

Andi opened the packaging of two packs of noodles, then put them in a pot where the water began to boil.

After her noodles mature, Andi and Wendi begin to eat with her voraciously.

" Dino must be hungry too, why hasn't he come back yet?" Andi started to feel anxious.

" Yes bro, he should have returned first to the gathering point with or without results," Wendi also began to feel anxious.

They finished their lunch, and Dino was still nowhere to be seen either.

Andi and Wendi stared at each other with anxious feelings.

" While this afternoon we should have gone home, our wife must be worried that we still have not come home" said Andi.

Andi and Wendi paced back and forth anxiously, wondering what they should do, would follow in the direction of Dino and Poni hunting, or keep waiting there until Dino returned.

After waiting for approximately an hour, Dino and Poni still did not return at the gathering point as promised.

" How bro, afraid something happened to Dino there. What if we take it?" ask Andi later.

" Come, bro, it's noon in the afternoon. Let's try to follow Dino as Poni goes, we look there," replied Wendi.

Wendi and Andi then picked up the rifle, then immediately followed and walked towards where they had split.

They continued to trace the footprints of Andi and Poni from the former undergrowth trampled.

They had reached where Dino had shot, and their eyes immediately looked in the same direction.

There's a blood patch that's starting to dry up.

Andi and Wendi looked at each other.

Andi and Wendi silently began to follow the direction of the blood trail that splattered among the thickets.

" It's the blood of a hunted animal or don't you think bro?" Andi broke the silence between them.

" Hopefully yes, bro, maybe Dino managed to shoot the prey, the animals were injured...." Wendi answered while guessing - guessing the situation that Dino and Poni might have experienced.

They continued walking up to a rock. Andi and Wendi saw the trail of blood turn towards the rocks.

Andi watched the surroundings, his eyes looking - look for if-if you see Dino and Poni.

Only silence is in there, with lush trees and shrubs.

There was not a single animal they had encountered.

Andi and Wendi continued their search, behind the rocks a trail of blood pointed towards the strangely lined large trees.

Andi and Wendi looked at each other, they both thought the same thing.

The trees in front of them lined up tightly to form two sides, like a gate.

Traces of blood headed in that direction, entering between the ranks of the two rows of trees.

Slowly Andi and Wendi entered between two rows of trees that were shaped like a gate.

They held tightly to the rifle they crossed the rope on their shoulders.

Their eyes looked around, which appeared to be only thickets and towering tight trees.

Their heart beats rapidly.....
