Zhel's field of vision disappeared, before he saw the village destroyed by the giant Slime but now he only saw a dense forest in front of him.
“Kon?”
Zhel looked around, and he found a fainted Helen leaning against a tree. But before Zhel awakens Helen, the poison in Zhel's body instantly forces her to fall to the ground.
“He... len”.
But the answer was not Helen, but another figure who was hiding behind a tree that became Helen's backrest.
“How are you doing, boy? But from what looks like it is not good ya” said the figure.
“You... Demon King Monarch?” zhel said with a surprised tone mixed with pain.
Standing there was the Demon King of Shadow Monarch, he wore a magician's hat which was usually the hallmark. But now that the suit he was wearing was a little different, Monarch used a tailed black suit that made him look even more dignified.
“Tepat” replied Monarch with a smile on his face.
- Why is he here? Lothawat! Helen will—
“No need to worry boy, I'm just here to say hello” Monarch said.
Zhel did not believe it just like that, before Monarch had indeed only greeted and did not make a fuss when the incident with Demon King Scar.
“Meyapa?”
“Yes... Unfortunately you lost to the little Slime ahaha” said Monarch while laughing out loud.
Hearing that Zhel could only insult himself because the Monarch's words were not wrong, but Zhel finally realized something strange.
“You... Not the real one, right?”
“Of course, I'm just one of my original shadows... But our ability is exactly the same”
“It is only fitting that I do not feel pressure like that time”
Zhel recalled that when he met the Monarch the first time, just standing up was very difficult because Zhel's body trembled in fear.
“You are still a weak boy, the one you previously saw was only part of my strength”
“A-what?”
“All right we've had this boring talk... The first one I had to wake this girl because she was also one of the superior seeds” said Monarch who then stroked Helen's hair.
Hearing that Zhel immediately suspected, saying someone as a seedling ungul is clear evidence that the Monarch does not consider humans as living things.
“Hey Fuck...!! Get your hands off Helen!” zhel shouted in anger.
“Tan easy... I'm not going to hurt her, I'm just going to do this” then Monarch thrusts her index finger into Helen's forehead until it penetrates in.
Zhel was shocked and his anger grew bigger, but strangely from Helen's pierced head not a single drop of blood fell. Then Monarch moved his index finger inside Helen's head, seeing that Zhel was trying to get up but his body could no longer be moved.
“Release?! Get your hands off!” yelled Zhel who was squirming on the ground.
After that the Monarch retracted her finger, and when her index finger was out of Helen's forehead there was no blood, not even a wound.
“Alright done... Wake up miss, your friend needs help” said Monarch while shaking Helen's body.
Slowly Helen opened her eyes, after which Helen was immediately shocked when she saw Zhel who was already helpless.
“Zhel?!”
“Helen?” said Zhel who did not understand what was happening.
Helen instantly rose to treat Zhel, next to her Monarch only looked on with a satisfied face.
“Please hold on. Zhel... Manipulation!” helen said as she extended her hands to Zhel's body, which fell to the ground.
“Helen are you okay?” zhel asked in surprise.
“It's not time to care about me stupid! Look at you first!”
Zhel was still confused by Helen's state, but Zhel finally turned his gaze to the Monarch who was still standing with a triumphant smile on his face.
“As you can see... I just woke this girl”
“Eh?”
Helen finally realized Monarch's presence, but Helen did not know him and turned her face toward Zhel like asking”Your introduction?”.
“Ah sorry haven't introduced yourself... My name is Monarch, I am now referred to as the Demon King of Shadow Monarch” Monarch said as he lowered his head showing his decency.
Hearing the name Helen was surprised instead of playing, Helen herself immediately retreated and released the Manipulation magic she used on Zhel.
“Do not panic... I was besides just one of my shadows, my real body was far away from here well even though my real body could switch places with me in a flash”
“Aero Shield!” helen said in a panic.
Helen casts defense magic so that Monarch cannot get close to herself and Zhel.
“You're excited once yes, it's no problem just listen to me”
Helen strengthened the Aero Shield by adding her Mana, Zhel also gave Helen Mana but was not quick due to the poison in her body.
“Why is a Demon King like you here?” helen asked with a serious face.
Helen tried to look calm, but her body trembled in fear just from hearing the name Monarch.
“Hmm how should I explain it yes... The three of you are good seeds for a purpose I guess, but if I say that surely you will be suspicious right? What if this was the case, I've heard your previous conversation between Zhel and Kon”
“How do you know Kon?!” helen asked in surprise.
Helen did not understand how the Demon King Monarch knew Kon's name, and currently Kon was not here either so there was no way the Monarch could know.
“Ahaha don't be surprised by it, I even have more information about you guys but that's not what I want to discuss”
“Quite messing around Monarch!” zhel shouted in annoyance.
“I'm here just to give help”
Hearing that Zhel and Helen put on curious faces, they did not understand what the Monarch was thinking.
“I know your friend Kon is getting into trouble, and I think it's quite serious... But because you guys haven't recovered properly so I don't think there's any way you can save him alone, that's why I want to help you” Monarch said.
Hearing that, Helen looked around and did not find Kon anywhere. Then he looked at Zhel with a worried face, but Zhel only showed a sorry face.
“Sorry Helen, I can't take Kon... Looks like he was taken by the troops from Safanas” Republic
"Huh?"
“That's right, I made sure of it.. Therefore I give help to you both”
“What are you helping us for? You must have another purpose, right?” ask Helen.
“Of course, I give and you guys receive isn't that natural?”
“No need! We will bring Kon back!” zhel was angry.
“Unfortunately it can't be”
“What do you mean?!” ask Zhel.
“Do you think you can defeat hundreds of warriors with such a body? Moreover, you guys are currently on a secret mission right?” said Monarch with a smile on his face.
Zhel and Helen were more and more surprised by the amount of information coming out of the Monarch's mouth, after which Zhel thought hard why Monarch could find out the information.
- How did he know?! Where?! When did he hear it?!
“What do you know?”
“Everything... Starting from the weapons of the heroes and the agreement of the Kingdom of Waren with the Elves, ah and also your purpose I know everything”
Hearing that, Zhel showed an annoyed face like being fooled by someone, because after hearing their secret there was no way Zhel could remain calm let alone he was playing on the Monarch's hand.
“Actually you can not refuse my offer anyway, but this is also for your good so I want to give a little information that is quite useful for you later”
