Section 9

It was almost eight o'clock in the evening, Nathan left his desk at the mansion. He has finished checking the important files for the signature of the cooperation contract with the client tomorrow.

"Excuse me, Sir! The owner of Willi's Corporation wants to meet you in person" Leo said directly when he saw Nathan leaving the room.

"When?"

"The day after tomorrow at your office!"

"OK.. You just set everything up!"

"Good, Sir!" Reply Leo's personal assistant and Nathan's confidant. He took care of the company replacing Nathan while the man was lounging.

"The file for tomorrow I've checked, tomorrow you just take it to the office and put it on my desk. I don't think I'm going home tonight." Nathan said and walked away.

Upon arrival in Nathan's room immediately replaced his appearance with a casual style. He was ready to go to meet his little girlfriend who he had so longed for.

"Where are you going these nights?" Sisil asked with a worried feeling seeing that her husband was already looking neat.

"I have business!"

"I feel like you're keeping a little distance from me! You never hugged me in my sleep again. Let alone hugging, sleeping one bed only seems you are reluctant! Worse still, you've never felt at home in the mansion." I Sisil looked at her husband's wide back sadly.

"That's just your feeling!" Nathan replied very indifferently.

"You look different now! Are you tired of me? or maybe have another woman out there!" Read Sisil demanding an answer from the man.

"I'm lazy to argue. And don't accuse me of the no-no!" nathan said as he clenched his hands tightly.

"Aren't you going home tonight?" The woman was still standing behind Nathan.

"Maybe, I don't know yet. You better not wait for me to come home!" Nathan replied flatly.

"What business is it? until you're not going home."

"You don't need to know. Yes, I left first!" Nathan replied with a forced smile towards Sisil, then gently rubbed the corner of the woman's shoulder.

Sisil was about to make his voice, but he soon puffed out. The woman looked at Nathan's back who was walking further away from him. Clear fluid droplets dripped from the woman's eye patch. His chest felt so tight as it was squeezed by a huge stone. He was disappointed in the two most precious people in his life.

Sisil knows everything, everything her husband and niece did behind her. He always woke up in the morning with the mattress next to him empty, but the day was still very dark. Until one day he just pretended to close his eyes. Want to know where Nathan went at night, until the bitter reality had to slap him. Sisil is devastated, seeing with his own eyes the husband he loves so much visiting another woman's room. And that woman was Elena, the niece she loved dearly.

"I always try to give my best to my husband. Give my whole life to that man, but what do I get? Just words, flat face, indifferent attitude. But I try to be strong, hoping that someday my husband can change, can live the household life like a married couple should." Inner Sisil.

He did not expect the attention he had been giving to Elena to be even countered with a very painful wound to feel. The woman could not oppose their relationship. Because Sisil is self-aware that he cannot give what he wants. He just slumped alone. Pretending to be okay by pulling the corners of her lips up even if they are just illusions.

Elsewhere Elena returned to the apartment after the afternoon. The raindrops did not block her steps down the pavement which contained many puddles, making the wet shoes that the woman was wearing. He no longer has any other purpose. At this time he felt only pain in his heart, because all this time he had been deceived by those closest to him. Friends who are believed to do all this, establish a relationship with his lover, as well as his lover. But in hindsight what was Elena's bed with them? There ain't! They are both entangled in a very complicated relationship. Maybe this is karma for Elena who has betrayed her Aunty.

The girl slammed the door of the room hard. He rubbed his body in the corner of the room while hugging his knees firmly. His heart was broken, broken. Elena's tears were unceasingly dripping down representing the new pain she was feeling. Without the lighting sobs roaring in the room, while out there lightning bolts flickering with each other, accompanied by rumbling sounds create a very gripping atmosphere.

"Why is it so dark?" nathan entered a very quiet apartment.

The man turned on some lights to light up his steps in search of his girl's innocence. The man led his steps into his room with Elena. He quickly pressed the door handle until it opened a very dark roar. Nathan frowned, faintly hearing the sound of a sobbing from someone he believed was Elena.

With a single press the lights in the room were all lit up. Showing the girl who was hiding her face between her knees.

"Darling, what's wrong with you?" Nathan said at high volume while half-running over to Elena.

Elena pressed her hands against her feet. Actually he was not ready to meet Nathan at this time, he was ashamed of the man with his circumstances like that. Very screwed!

"El, tell me why are you?" Nathan's chirps while gently stroking the girl's hair.

"I'm sick, Uncle!" elena replied in a raucous voice, not yet willing to show her face that might already look terrible.

"Tell me, what happened to you?" nathan said with jaws beginning to harden.

Elena raised her face displaying her puffy eyes and a red nose like a clown. "My lover cheated on me with my best friend." The girl's tears returned to her eyes in light of the betrayal she had experienced.

"Calm down. There's no need for you to cry like a man." Nathan replied trying to calm his lover. "There's me here who's gonna be your back!"

"I can't pretend to be strong, if I feel pain I'll also rebuke." Elena rubbed her watery nose with the expensive t-shirt the man was wearing.

"Alright.. Examine your content!" nathan pushed Elena's back head against her chest, the man hugged her lover tightly giving her comfort.

"You are only destined for me. No matter how hard you reject me, that hard I will bring you to my knees." Nathan said inwardly.a sly smile emanated from the lips of the devil-hearted man.
