Section 43

"Miss Elena forced her home, sir!" Leo reported.

That afternoon Leo is assigned Nathan to look after Elena who is still hospitalized. Nathan has to attend an important meeting. There was nothing else that the man could rely on, the brother who used to handle all the company affairs just left without saying goodbye.

"Leave it. There's no need for you to respond." Nathan replied across the street.

"Good, sir."

The phone connection was also cut off. Leo smiled awkwardly towards Elena who was watching him intensely. Elena opened her eyes in disgust with Leo who ignored her whining to go home.

"Leo!"

"Sorry, Miss. I can't help you."

"I'm doing fine. You can see for yourself if I can walk. I'm bored here."

"I don't have the authority to get you out of here. Sir has warned me not to respond to your complaint. Master just wants you to recover, so be patient" Leo said again.

Elena snorted bitterly. "You're the same as Nathan. There's no point in me making up my mind that I'm still locked up in the end."

"I will carry out all orders given by Mr. Vijaya."

"Yes, yeah. I gotcha! Your boss. He paid you. So what's my day."

Leo looked flat at Elena who was grumbling.

Elena looked blankly at the glass-covered window, outside in the rain. The glass in front of Elena was dewy so it looked blurry. Elena's one hand gently rubbed her stomach covered in a hospital gown. The life inside her stomach had already vanished without her knowledge. Elena regretted that.

"I'm sorry Mommy, baby. Hope you're happy there. Hopefully we can meet. When that happens, Mommy will apologize to you for Mommy's carelessness and making you leave before we meet" said Elena, who resembles a whisper.

Tears that involuntarily flowed down Elena's cheeks were gently rubbed by the girl to the point of no silence. The shadow of Emma's mother sitting in a wheelchair with a sweet smile formed on her lips flashed across Elena's mind. Guilt still continues to disturb the inner Elena, she knows the feelings of Rega and her mother during a blessing event that was chaotic because of Nathan's actions.

"How's Emma's mom doing now? I'm worried about her health." muttered Elena.

Elena was eager to call Rega to apologize but there was no cell phone Elena could use to contact the man.

"Let's think, Elena!"

Not long after the door to Elena's treatment room opened. Nathan enters with Leo walking behind him. Their appearance looks very neat. Nathan shortened the distance with Elena.

Elena immediately twisted her body. The chest of the field clad in a dark blue suit became his first sight. Elena's eyes began to be raised onto Nathan's face which displayed a bright smile. "You really want to take me home?"

"of course. I know you keep on scolding me in your heart." Nathan said.

Elena's mouth opened to Nathan's loud innuendo. It is true that Nathan said, she often said harsh words to her husband. Husband? Elena doesn't believe Nathan is her husband. Elena's unknown marriage began from when until Nathan suddenly dragged her forcibly by confessing that they were married. Elena can't accept that yet.

"Sokay know!" said Elena ketus.

"You look funny when you sulk like that, baby!" Nathan starts teasing Elena.

Elena turned her body facing back to the window. Elena's two hands rubbed her unraveled hair. "Everything that's happened lately makes it hard for me to think well. It's happening simultaneously I'm really not ready for this position, Nathan." I'm Elena.

"El..."

Without hesitation Nathan clenched Elena's weak body, leaning the girl's head against him. Elena simply remained silent without reacting. One of Nathan's hands was in front of Elena's chest while the other hand held Elena's fingers and placed the hand link in front of Elena's stomach. "I'm sorry" Nathan said softly and landed a soft kiss on Elena's head.

Elena closed her eyes feeling Nathan's breath at the top of her head. Peace slowly reached Elena who was previously troubled.

"I also regret what happened to you, but there's nothing I can do about it. He chose to leave rather than hold on to you. And I'm sure someday there'll be another fetus growing in your womb." Nathan spoke softly beside Elena's head.

"But I'm afraid of you now. You're different. I saw you who was like a monster." Elena revealed what she felt.

Nathan tightened his embrace. Her chest throbbing pain heard Elena's confession. Jealousy turns Nathan's tender attitude into harsh and cruel. "I can't control myself."

"I don't want to have a companion like that. If you're still being rude it's better to just let me go."

"I don't want to hear those words coming out of your mouth. I did all this because I love you too much. I emphasize once again I love you, El." Nathan said, sounding heavy.

The atmosphere of the room changed syahdu. Leo who previously entered the room with Nathan preferred to leave because he was too lazy to see the romantic scene that his master did.

"Hopefully your words can be accounted for." Elena released herself from Nathan's embrace. He went to bed to put himself back to sleep there.

Nathan stared at his place while staring blankly out the window. Nathan knows Elena hasn't forgiven him. The girl subtly rejected her touch.
