"Please go a little faster, sir." Pinta Elena to the taxi driver.
"Good, Miss."
Elena looked back at Nathan from the back of the glass of the taxi. Elena's feelings turned doubtful for the man. He reconsidered whether the choice of returning to Nathan was right. His heart ached getting rough treatment from the man he loved.
I'm just saying without knowing the truth he's already easily slapped me, What if I did and he saw it straight away, maybe I'd be strangled to lifeless. Inner Elena.
"Sorry Miss, we've arrived." The taxi driver said, raising his voice because Elena had just daydreamed regardless of what the driver said.
Elena looked out as if she had arrived in front of the company lobby. Elena rushed down, took a breath and slowly followed. He rubbed his eyes a little swollen as a result of a crush. Elena acted fine upon entering the lobby, even though inside her chest was a wound that had just scratched her.
"Elena, where have you been? You're gonna make me slam alone." Anna Cerocos is ready at the reception desk.
"I want to go to the toilet before I answer your question."
Elena looked in the mirror of Nathan's hand imprinted on her cheek. Am I not destined for him? I began to regret myself falling back into his arms. I should have stayed with Rega who was clearly better than Nathan. Elena gasped from her daydream as someone entered the toilet. He immediately finished sweeping the powder onto his face.
Elena approached Anna. Sit next to the woman. "Can I help you?" Ask.
"Do you want to deliver this letter to Mr. Gibran's room? Just give it to the secretary." Anna asked without looking at Elena.
"Where? Give it to me."
"Here, remember there's not much work waiting for you for long." Anna.
"You just calm down. I'll be right back."
With wide steps Elena approached the owner's secretary table. "Excuse me, I'd like to deliver a letter to Mr. Gibran." Elena handed the man a white envelope.
"Thank you."
"I'm sorry then."
Elena was waiting in front of the elevator. His feelings began to calm down. The elevator door opened, Nathan standing there with a difficult look.
"Nathan." Elena was only able to move her lips without making a sound.
"I want to talk to you."
"I don't want to talk to you. Please let me go, Nathan. I have to work. You always do what you want, without thinking about my feelings." Elena did not move her legs when Nathan pulled her, she then removed Nathan's hand checks to leave from the man's presence.
"I know I was wrong, I was just getting carried away with my emotions." Nathan tried to explain.
"I'm still hurt by your slap. I'm sorry I wanted to be alone first, understand." Elena was muddled by her decision to ignore Nathan.
Elena's words kept Nathan quiet. Maybe the man was regretting his actions. Nathan pulls Elena's hand, dropping the woman into his arms. "I swear I won't do it again. I'm sorry."
Elena let out her cries in Nathan's arms. He no longer held it, his chest was already very tight. "If you love me, you shouldn't do that. I feel unappreciated by you, I begin to doubt your seriousness."
"Darling, I'm really serious about loving you. I can't control my emotions, give me a chance to fix everything. Don't you tell me that you doubt me, I'm sick to hear that the girl I love doesn't trust me."
They hugged in front of the elevator for quite a while. Luckily they were on the Owner's floor so no one saw them. "I'm sorry." Nathan Mumbled. Without Elena, Nathan shed a tear. He hid it from Elena so as not to look weak.
"Thank you." Nathan stole a kiss on Elena's cheek. "I almost hang when you run away from me. I'm afraid you're gone from my side again." Nathan said, the man put his forehead on Elena's forehead. "I love you so much." A gentle kiss landed on Elena's forehead making her pang with a red tinge visible on her cheek.
"Maybe I'll hang up too if you keep pulling out your fist." Answer Elena.
"I'll wait for you here until you get home."
"Here?"
"I mean in Gibran's room. You think I'm the security guard who has to stand guard in front of the elevator." Canda Nathan, the tense atmosphere between them slowly began to melt away.
Elena gave a smile, "I guess waiting for me here, but that sounds romantic isn't it."
"If you want me to stay here, I will. I'm willing to do anything for you, to lose everything I don't care if I'm still with you." Nathan's chirps don't look like they're joking.
"Haisss. I went downstairs first, long time here your words even more unclear." Elena pressed the elevator button. Wait for a moment for the elevator door to open and take her back to the lobby.
Elena's face turned brighter than before. He cannot lie to his feelings, he will still melt in front of the man. Even now Elena had missed her former uncle, but only a few minutes ago they met. Love is weird.
Arriving at the reception desk Elena immediately got a shot from Anna. Anna's fierce face made Elena frown. "You why?"
"Still asking me why, I told you not to for long. Butwhat? You've been gone for almost an hour, where have you been?" Elena gets a nagging from Anna. He forgot his promise.
Elena laughed foolishly. "I forgot." Elena said as she scratched her nape.
"You deliberately caused me trouble, didn't you! Now you're working on this as his punishment." Anna puts out a thick book containing the names of important people who will be invited to the company's birthday event.
"What the hell, I have to type these names and have to jam today." Elena's eyes grew. "I'm not sure I can finish it. Help me, please."
"You do it yourself. I have another assignment, the company's birthday will be held in 1 week. We should immediately send an invitation to all the names of the people in the book. So you need to finish as soon as possible in order to get printed.
"All right, I'll work on it. Obviously I have to be late tonight" Elena said.
Anna shrugged her shoulders casually.
"ish, what the hell!"
"Oh yes, someone was looking for you. Sexy man but looks creepy because of his flat face. Have you met him? He immediately went up the elevator when I told him that you were going to Mr. Gibran's room. All I know is he's our boss's best friend." Anna says.
Elena looked slowly nodding. "Already,"
"I wonder why you know such a handsome and rich man so well. I'd love to be like you, but what are the strengths of only my fellow employees who want to approach me." Anna's cursing made Elena laugh out loud.
"That's because you're too chatty. Kalem alone is usually a handsome guy like that."
Elena's focus returned to her typing activities. Ignoring Anna's babble that made Elena's ears hot.
