Uncle's Savings Lover

Uncle's Savings Lover
Section 44

Next day.

Elena's steps stopped at the bottom of the stairs. Elena watched Nathan from afar. The man was discussing something that was not very clear to him.

Since arriving back at the mansion Elena had not once opened her mouth before Nathan. I don't know, Elena felt so hateful about the man.

After being silent for a long time Elena returned to continue her steps looking for fresh air in the back garden. Continuing to remain silent in the room made him feel claustrophobic because he kept remembering the violence that Nathan was doing.

"Excuse me Miss! Where do you want to go?" ask the butler who passed by Elena on the right wing of the mansion.

"Oh, I just want to go to the park." Elena reviewed a knotty smile.

"There should be a waiter with you!"

Elena shook her head. "No need! I'll be fine unaccompanied."

"Master won't let you go alone."

"Don't tell him!"

"But Miss--,"

Elena raised her right hand. The other hand he put in front of his lips to stop the speech of the butler. "Be quiet! Don't tell Nathan. That way everything will get better."

The butler's head instantly fell silent. He bowed respectfully and let the Miss go.

A gentle breeze greeted Elena's arrival in the park that was still very beautiful with shady trees. The sound of the trees swaying due to the wind was able to relax Elena's tensed muscles.

Elena's eyes were closed with the tip of her lips curved upwards. A sense of peace immediately penetrated into the soul, raising the spirit of life that had receded.

"I want to forget that dark incident, but that shadow keeps haunting me."

"Do I have to make peace with myself and try to accept Nathan, who regretted his actions?"

"Lord, help me!"

Elena's hands covered her face with both elbows piled up on her knees. Long breaths began to sound. "complicated. Is this karma for me?"

Until the sun began to rise Elena was still at home sitting in a garden chair under a tree. The place that previously felt shady is now fully highlighted by the sun that pierces the skin.

Elsewhere, precisely inside the mansion Nathan was frantically searching for the whereabouts of Elena who was nowhere to be found. All the servants and guards were gathered on the main floor of the mansion. Everyone looked down in fear at Nathan's emotional tone.

"Of the many eyes that are here how can no one see my wife go! What are you guys doing?"

Nathan wrathful. She was afraid Elena would leave her.

The relaxed-looking butler slowly approached. "Sorry sir, I didn't want to say this before but I couldn't see the maids who didn't know anything about it being affected. Miss Elena is currently in the back garden."

Nathan tightened his jaw. Relieved to be mixed up. "Why haven't you said that since?"

"Miss told me not to tell you."

"Stupid!" Nathan twisted his body walking away making the gripping aura in the room slowly fade away. Everyone there can breathe.

"What do I have to do to get Elena back to what she was? Right now he's looking at me like a terrible mustard" Nathan told himself.

Nathan kept going wide to see Elena. Nathan's worried. Nathan fears Elena is depressed and putting herself at risk.

Nathan's body wrapped in formal clothes had already arrived outside the mansion. Nathan looked far away. Elena is now the main object. The girl wearing a knee-length tosca green dress was seen sitting casually with both legs bobbing into the air.

What Nathan saw Elena was enjoying. He looked fine, but Nathan was doubtful whether his presence would take back the smile printed on the girl's face?

"Darling, I'm really sorry. I realize an apology won't bring back something I lost, but I promise I'll be a better husband to you." Nathan said in his heart. Her firm steps now brought her before Elena.

Nathan squatting. One of his knees was used for concentration. His outstretched hand grabbed the wife's delicate hand and then let her catch it.

"I'm looking for you like a doormat, but I'm grateful to be able to find you here."

Elena looked straight ahead. Refusing to return Nathan's sad gaze.

"Darling," call Nathan.

"Slap and hit me. Don't keep quieting me like this. Really, I won't be strong." Nathan squeezed Elena's hand gently. His eyes looked at Elena's flat stomach plastered in front of him.

Elena was still reluctant to speak. Nathan stand. Looking at Elena's expressionless face for a long time.

"I'm sorry again once again." Nathan leaned over and grabbed Elena's chin then pressed his lips against Elena's cold lips.

There was no response. Elena was silent like a statue. Nathan started********d like to know what kind of response Elena will show.

As Nathan thought that Elena would turn him back. Elena's hand thrust on her chest gave Nathan a sign to end his kiss immediately.

"I still need time."

"Please, don't do it this way!"

Elena looks up. The eyes of the two met. "I hope you understand. I tried to make peace but my heart kept rejecting it."

"alright. Maybe this is how you punish me." Nathan surrendered. He could not continue to force his will.

There was no word from Elena.

"I hope you haven't tortured me for too long."

Elena's gaze was thrown in another direction.

"You've been outside for too long. Come on in and get some rest!" Nathan finally switched the subject.

"Let me take you!" take Nathan.

Elena obediently. He walked and walked first. Nathan rubbed his face rough then his back neck while following Elena from behind.

Just half a journey suddenly Elena slowed down her steps. There was a ringing held back from Elena to attract Nathan to immediately see what was going on.

"Darling, what's wrong with you?" Nathan's panicked.

Elena shook her head weakly. "My head got dizzy."

Without a word Nathan carried Elena's body. Elena's reflexes draped her hands around Nathan's neck.

"You've been outside too long. Not good for you who haven't fully recovered." Nathan advised his wife.

"I'm bored."

"You can ask me to accompany you. I would do anything to keep you from getting bored." Nathan said earnestly.

"What can a stiff man like you do? Maybe I'll even die of boredom!" said Elena sarcastically.

"Anything even by embarrassing myself."

"No. Thank you!" push Elena ketus.

"alright. You're still mad at me. So whatever I do will always be wrong."

"Is that so?" Elena looked at Nathan's face which looked tense.

Nathan did not respond. He walked leisurely while holding Elena without feeling burdened.
