Two Red Lines
CHAPTER 32

Never judge someone by their cover alone. Because the outside cannot reflect how a person's original attitude. ~Khali Mateen~

At midnight, when two people were coiled in a blanket. A man moves to stretch his muscles while opening his eyes. His face was so soft that he sat himself down.

Even though the light in the room was so dim. Khali was still able to see clearly that the clock on the wall showed one o'clock at night. Looking up at the bedside nightstand, Khali breathed in disappointment to find her drinking glass empty.

Soon he grabbed the blanket and confirmed it again, fearing that his wife would wake up. Without much to say, Khali stepped foot into the palace kitchen in the silence of the night.

Until accidentally, when passing in front of the guest room, he passed by a guard.

"Is there anything you need?" ask the bodyguard after giving a respectful greeting.

"Yes. I want to get some water."

"Let me get it, sir," said the bodyguard, who was immediately answered by him.

"no need. Let me be alone."

Khali immediately continued his steps towards the kitchen because his throat was so dry. Arriving there, taken a teapot with a gold pattern and poured the contents into a glass. Then he immediately took her to the dining table.

Khali immediately gulped down the water while sitting down, until soon the sound of the friction of the sandals made him turn his head.

"Oh. Sorry King Khali. I don't think anyone's in the kitchen."

Khali spontaneously stood up. "It's okay, Princess Rafiena."

"Are you alone here?" ask Rafiena to come closer.

"Yes. I was just thirsty so I took the water here" Khali said, showing an empty glass.

"Then your wife?"

"My wife is sleeping, Princess," Khali said as she moved back to put the glass.

"What kind of wife is that, King. Her husband's thirsty he's even preoccupied with his sleep."

Khali spontaneously stopped. He turned his body to look at Princess Rafiena sharply.

"You need not bother to judge how my wife, Princess, behaves. However, only I know my wife's attitude well" he said with emphasis.

"I mean not…"

"I don't need your opinion. Next time, never look at and judge someone if you don't know them" Khali said, pointing to Princess Rafiena. "Because not all of a person's covers, symbolize his personality."

"There is a bad outside, but good inside. Vice versa. There's good, but it's so rotten inside."

After saying that, Khali immediately put the glass on the dining table and left Rafiena alone.

Honestly Khali was so angry, if anyone judged his wife at will. After all, they did not know Aqila very well. It is also the duty of the wife, not just to serve the husband.

As long as Khali can do it himself, why should he disturb his wife's sleep. Not wanting his emotions to increase, Khali immediately went up to the bed and hugged Aqila tightly.

Until the movement made the sleeping Aqila become disturbed and woke up.

"You're up, By?" aqila asked with a hoarse voice typical of people waking up.

"Yes, Honey. Why are you awake?" tanya Khali kissed Aqila's forehead making the girl smile.

The view of both is not so clear because of the dim light. However, to faintly look at their faces, Khali and Aqila could still.

"Hubby hugged Aqila very tightly. Qila was shocked."

"I'm sorry Hubby yeah."

Aqila nodded. Then the two began to go back to sleep so they could wake up at three in the morning to finish the evening prayer at the last time. Khali seemed to forget the girl he had lived at his own dining table.

On the other side.

The girl with the red face was on a rampage. He vented his anger by ripping apart the blanket and the bed sheet. Rafiena really did not accept the words of Khali earlier. It was as if his words were insinuations aimed at himself.

"Look at. I'll prove that you can be mine. I'm gonna get you to your knees on my feet, and I'm gonna kick your wife out of this palace."
