You are the strongest woman. The woman who will be the mother-to-be of my son. The only woman to occupy the highest throne in my heart. ~Khali Mateen~

All the way home. Aqila just kept quiet while staring at the streets out there. His mind floated somewhere with a blank look. Everything the woman did, did not escape Khali's sight.
The man looked sadly at his wife. Ever since they came out of Doctor Tia's room, his wife was silent. No more smiles that accompany his days.
Pulling his car aside, Khali let go of the seatbelt and tilted his body. Turns out to be right, his wife is daydreaming. Even though this car was silent, Aqila was unaware of it.
"Dear." Khali pulled the wife's body until she was shocked.
"Don't shut up like this" Khali said, looking at his wife.
"I'm just thinking, By."
"I'm just scared, what if I can't get pregnant too? Despite therapy or whatever, I'm not pregnant. What am I supposed to do?" aqila asked looking at her husband softly.
Although his ears heard Doctor Tia's words earlier, there was still fear within Aqila. He was afraid of his illness, he could not have children. If so, he could be said to be barren, right?
If so, is he capable?
The answer is no.
He will not accept that fate.
Especially considering that her husband is a king. Must have descendants to carry on this throne. It was a sign that she had to let her husband remarry to have a child.
Thinking of that, it certainly scared Aqila to death. He's not ready to be combined. She was still afraid and not sincere, if her husband married again.
"Pregnant or not. I'll always be there for you, baby. So please don't say that again" Khali said, wiping away her tears.
"I'm just scared, By. I'm afraid," she shrieked with melted tears that were flowing.
Khali could not bear, pulling Aqila's body into his arms. They share warmth, strengthen one another through a hug. Khali prayed that Aqila would soon be calm and not minded anymore.
"By," called Aqila in a stifled voice because of her husband's embrace.
"Hmm?"
Spontaneous embrace of Khali let loose. He looked in disbelief at his wife. Is what he just heard right?
"What do you mean, honey?" khalis asked confused.
Aqila stroked Khali's firm jaw slowly. She rubbed her husband's cheeks and nose.
"You are a King, By. I also know if you should have a child from our marriage to replace your throne seat," Aqila paused staring at her husband's response. "If I can't give you a son, I'm sincere to be combined."
Deg.
Khali's heart is breaking. He didn't expect his wife to give up like this.
"Where is my usually stoic wife? Where's my wife so strong?" khali asked as she stared into his wife's eyeballs.
"Why is my wife now giving up because of circumstances?"
"Because I started learning to accept my illness, By. Because I began to prepare my heart for the bad possibility and failure of my therapy," he said, covering both of his faces.
Aqila sobbing. He also felt he did not know where to get the courage to say it all. Though what he said, all was inversely proportional to his heart.
However, Aqila again did not want to be selfish. He must be prepared for all the consequences. She must understand the husband's position as well. Whatever it is, Aqila will begin to accept the fate that will take her now.
"But that's not how it works, honey." Khali looked up at his wife's face.
Aqila's tears were wiped away and she dropped a kiss on her forehead, nose and lips for a while.
"Whatever outcome. What you need to remember. My only wife is you, Aqila Kanaira Princess Cullen. The mother of my children will be just you. There is no one and no one else" Khali said firmly.
"But…"
"No words but, honey. Whatever the end result will be, of course we have tried as much as possible. I believe that God will see all our efforts and grant all our prayers."
