Two Red Lines

CHAPTER 3

The happiness of the wife is not just about material and money. But born and her mind must also be happy by a husband ~Khali Mateen~

After the wife began to calm down a little. Khali immediately gave a warm kiss on his forehead and made a thin smile rise on Aqila's lips. 

"Well if gini is Khali's new wife," she said making Aqila's cheeks flushed.

"Udah do not keep fighting," said Aqila while tidying up her hijab. "Let's have breakfast, sweetie."

Khali was silent. He looked at the wife who was cleaning up some messy stuff. 

"Why is it still quiet?" aqila asked with a frown.

That woman's face was really sad. More precisely so messy. Red nose and eye bags are so swollen that a usually fresh face looks so tangled. 

"Are you really going down, honey?" 

"Yes. Why, By?" aqila asked confused by the husband's behavior.

Khali stood up and walked over to his wife. He rubbed both eyes that had been shedding tears and kissed her there.

"Your eyes are swollen, Humairah. I'm afraid that abi and Umi will think that this son of hers has tortured his dear son-in-law to the point of crying." 

Aqila chuckled, she knew very well what this husband meant. Since they married, her in-laws have loved her as much as Khali. So when Aqila was sad and crying, surely the one who would be the victim of the interrogation was her own son. 

"alright. Qila wait here, Hubby."

"Yes, Honey. We'll eat here." 

Khali immediately kissed the wife's cheek and then said hello. After being outside the room, the man exhaled a heavy breath. Such a situation must have been a hard thing for him.

He should be able to be a strong backup figure for the wife. Treating Aqila's pain and also strengthening herself who also sometimes feel pain.

Anyone will feel empty of the absence of children in their marriage. There will be a sense of loneliness when they are just the two. However, it was never an excuse for Khali to be second to her first love. 

I loved my wife so much and the absence of children was no reason for me to hurt her so deeply, Khali cried out. 

Not wanting to make Aqila wait too long. He immediately descended down towards the family dining table. There, Rey could see that there were already abi and umi sitting quietly waiting for her presence. 

"Cocontainly alone? Where's Umi's daughter-in-law, son?" umi Mayra asked after her son kissed her cheek. 

"Yes, Son. Is Abi's son-in-law sick?" 

Khali. He pulled out one of the chairs and sat himself there. 

"Aqila is back for a pregnancy test, Umi. He tried again because it was late for the moon. However, it turns out the result is the same," said Khali lowered his head. 

Really if in front of his parents, Khali is still a child who needs a backrest. Moreover, the problem he was facing was not an easy matter. But all this was a genuine test from God and could only wait for the fate to come to his little family. 

"Yes Allah. Must be Umi's son-in-law sad. Umi wants to see it," said Umi Mayra Henda.

"Don't, Umi. Let Aqila calm down. We have to understand the situation, "prevent Abi while holding the wife's hand.

"But, Abi. Umi can imagine how Umi's daughter-in-law feels now. He must be so disappointed." 

"Later to meet Umi's daughter-in-law, Umi. Now let our son calm him down." 

"Yes, Umi. There's Khali now. Later if Khali again to the workspace, Umi accompanied Khali's wife yah," pinta Khali full of hope.

"Surely, Son."

"Yes already. Khali grab food for breakfast with Aqila in the room." 

"Why don't you call the waiter, son?" asked Umi who helped take food on the plate of the son.

"Republic, Umi. Let Aqila be a little quiet alone in the room when Khali gets here." 

"alright. Now let's bring a lot of food and make Umi's son-in-law smile again" Umi said making Khali nod.

It felt that the kindness of Umi Mayra and Abi Malik was a sustenance for Aqila herself. Both of his parents are like his own. Their kindness, sincerity and attention were completely down from the heart. Plus, Khali's parents never offended her daughter-in-law about pregnancy because they both really wanted to keep Aqila feeling.

"Oh my God, By. It's a lot" Aqila said as she opened the door for her husband. 

"You know for yourself, don't you, honey. How unfortunately abi and umi are the same as you." 

Aqila smiled. Things like this are certainly not for the first time. Every time she had breakfast in the room, surely her two in-laws would feel worried and Aqila was sure her husband was being asked a lot of questions by her in-laws.

"Hihi's reasonable, By. They love me more than you" Aqila joked, making Khali smile.

"Udah can suck yah." Khali. He approached his wife and tried to grab her body for her tickle.

This scene is so warm when husband and wife are joking with each other. The sadness that had enveloped Aqila's heart seemed to disappear. The happy laughter that Khali always gave her was certainly a solace cure for her.
