Mervin stared at the round white watch in the drawer that now moved in his hand.
The antique clock was a favorite of his late grandfather's favorite when he was alive.
There are many memories of that clock.
“This hour has always accompanied my grandfather and myself since I was a child.” mumbled Mervin reflected back on his past with his grandfather.
His mind floated on the past and made him smile a little as he recalled it.
“Grandfather, if only you were alive.” Mervin murmured an hour later.
The man stopped daydreaming and looked back at the white watch in his hand.
“This clock still looks good and works well.”Mervin then wears a watch that is in his 50s over it on his left hand.
Tic-tacs
There was a sound of the clock ticking in the middle of the current quiet and silent atmosphere.
For a moment the man's sadness was gone from his heart and his mind just by looking at the clock that was coiled in his left hand.
Mervin stood up after looking at the watch in his hand. He moved to another room.
“I feel grandpa is still here even though I didn't see him.”
He stared at the photo of Ethan's grandfather with him hanging on the east side wall.
Mervin then sat on a chair and continued to look at photos of himself with his late grandfather.
“Hopefully grandfather could meet father and mother in heaven there.” muttered again while shedding a tear that pierced over the watch he wore when he looked down.
“This hour why suddenly stop beating ?” the screeches were surprised when he accidentally wiped the tears on the glass of the watch. “What battery runs out ?”
Mervin who thought the battery ran out then took off the watch.
He unloads the back to see the battery.
“It turns out this battery is still new.” he said after checking it with a tool he took from a nearby toolbox.
Immediately he sat down on the wooden floor dismantling the antique clock machine using the equipment he had just picked up.
The items in each part of the clock are very small and it takes a short time to repair them.
“None is damaged and all conditions are fine.” Mervin muttered after dismantling and removing the watch machine.
Because nothing is broken and everything works well, then he re-installed it.
“Ooh.” the next hour then he finished installing the clock while wiping his sweat that began to drip.
“Finally this clock works back”
Mervin smiled faintly. The results of his efforts were not in vain after seeing the watch back beating.
But it didn't last long. The next minute, the clock stopped beating.
“What happened, why did this clock again stop ticking?”
“Any, this clock is still dead.”
He put the watch on the floor while thinking of other ways to fix the clock.
Blazes
Something strange happened. The clock that originally stopped beating is now starting to beat again but the seconds are very fast as usual.
“Why else this hour ?” Mervin took the watch back and put it on.
The clock is constantly rotating rapidly in the opposite direction of rotation than usual.
“Argh !” suddenly a dazzling beam of light came out of the watch making it unable to bear the glare until he closed his eyes.
After he felt no sparkle in his hand, he opened his eyes again.
Something strange happened again.
“I'm where ?” he was shocked because the room he was in was now turned into a house he did not know.
Mervin who did not believe what he saw, rubbed his eyes and after opening his eyes again turned out that what he saw remained.
“Where am I?”
Out of curiosity, he came out of the house. And he was even more surprised to find a completely different place and he had never known before what it was.
Mervin kept going. Lonely, there was no one there. Only green and tall trees were around him along the way.
At the end of the street is an ancient building, similar to a museum. There are two statues flanking the entrance of the building.
“What is this building really?” muttered. Then get into that place.
“Excuse me! Is anyone here?” he said half-screaming.
Slender. No one answered even though he repeated several times.
Mervin continued to enter the ancient building. He found some empty rooms there.
“Where am I really? Then how do I get back?”
He then walked back to the front to find his way back.
Arriving outside the ancient building, he stood for a moment leaning against the knight statue in ancient times.
Clack
Suddenly the floor he was on at that time collapsed and made him fall freefall down.
Eric stood up and looked around. In that dark place he saw a bright light in the hallway in front of him.
“Gold jar?”
It turned out that the light was the sparkle of a golden urn as he approached her. The urn measures about 70 cm high with carved ancient symbols.
