Gwen was still in disbelief staring at the phone screen in her hand. So many comments from many accounts who want to buy these antiques.
“How is this?” pekik, thought. Does he really have to take that thing off or keep it?
“I dare not decide it myself. I better wait for Mervin to come home, then I will tell him,” murmured, made up his mind.
Although Mervin himself has stated that the statue of the Goddess Venus is his but not entirely he has authority on the object. It originally belonged to Mervin.
“When will he go home?”
Gwen then stared at the clock hanging on the wall of the room which showed it at 13:00.
Mervin hasn't been home since this morning. It is not necessary for the man to go home every day. Sometimes at 11:00 pm already home if the newspaper sells all.
Sometimes above 13:00 just go home, and most afternoons at 15:00 Mervin go home. It depends on the number of newspapers sold.
Kriek! The sound of the door opening.
Mervin's home at 15:00. Today the buyer was a bit quiet, so he came home a little afternoon.
“Gwen...” call him, but no response.
His bead of eyes then locked onto the figure lying on the bed.
“She slept apparently,” her hisses watered down, not wanting to wake her woman.
Mervin put his usual brown waist bag with him to work every day, into a drawer.
He then sat on a sofa in the room, near the door.
His intention was to sit back, but a few minutes later he fell asleep.
“What time is this?” peek Gwen, open your eyes. Then look towards the wall clock.
Hasn't Mervin gone home yet? his mind, then swept a view around the room.
His gaze locked onto the figure sitting still and closed his eyes.
“When is he coming? Why don't I know?”
Gwen got out of bed and sat down next to Mervin.
He must be tired, working all day, Gwen's mind again.
He sat as slow as possible so as not to wake his man, not to disturb his rest.
He had seen for himself Mervin the exploration of his newspaper on the hot and crowded streets. Not to mention screaming, offering. Must be tired.
He knew it because of whether one day he secretly followed Mervin away. And from a distance she saw what activities her husband did when selling newspapers.
“Gwen?”
Mervin who was feeling opened her eyes, because she felt someone was sitting next to her. Even though it was very slow it barely made a sound.
“I woke you up,” said Gwen regretted once her man woke up because of her.
“No, I was asleep,” he said directly.
Since Mervin was awake, Gwen pulled out her phone. He showed many comments from accounts writing on his social media wall, bidding for a statue of the Goddess Venus.
“What do you think?” asked Gwen, after showing the comments from this post the number increased to thousands of comments in just a day.
“I'm up to you, that stuff I gave you and it's yours.”
Now replace the confused Gwen, he was actually pleased with the statue of the Goddess of Venus, but read the nominal height offered waver also his heart.
Especially if you really sell at a high price then the savings will be more and more.
“What if I just let those who want to see this thing see it first. Then if what time between them offer a good price then I will consider it first,” whispered softly.
Mervin just nodded while smiling faintly. Actually from the beginning he wanted to sell the object alone but he did not want to hurt Gwen's feelings by rejecting her wishes. Because he was self-conscious all this time had not been happy for his woman.

The morning of tomorrow.
At Eric's house, a lot of people came there.
“Who are they? Why do so many people come here?” screech Eric from the house.
In the living room now looks full, even Mervin to invite them to the terrace of the house alone rather than later his father-in-law was angry at him for making the atmosphere of a rowdy house.
“Please everyone to calm down first. You can see and hold the statue of Goddess Venus one by one but must queue,” said Mervin firmly, before they all fight each other.
The guests listened to Mervin's words and were silent for a moment. Those who come from all walks of life. There are also some antique collectors who come there.
“This, please see or check. please go forward one by one first,” said Mervin again.
Everyone then has the opportunity to see, hold and check the original object or not.
“Master, I want to buy it $ 1,500,” said a man who looks interested in the antique.
“I'll buy it $ 2.000.” Other men bid at a higher price.
Mervin did not auction the item. But many of those present bid again on the item and raised the price to the highest price.
“$ 5. 000.” said an antique collector, bidding at the highest price.
Mervin turned towards Gwen unable to decide on her own.
“The price the man mentioned is very high. Maybe if I take it off, Mervin will be able to find another antique,” Gwen, thinking.
He then nodded.
“Alright, Mr. Orlando, you can bring this item,” Mervin said at last, after Gwen gave her the code.
Most of those who came looked small the statue fell on a collector. But they can what because they do not have a nominal amount of it.
Mr. Orlando immediately paid for it and brought the goods.
After the house is quiet, out Eric, following the two of them who are currently in the living room.
“Mervin, why are you making this house rowdy?!” hard, hard. Though he saw clearly the purchase transaction occurred at his home and at this time his son-in-law was carrying a lot of money.
“Ma-sorry, Father. Next time I won't repeat it again,” he replied stammeringly.
“There is no other word if tomorrow or next there are still many people who come here then I will not hesitate to teach you a lesson!” it was, harder.
Eric left after looking at him sharply and also pushed Mervin to hit the wall.
