36. Maudy's Nightmare

It turned out that the black shadow not only followed Kareen and made her finger hurt. The black shadow also followed Maudy.

That night Maudy was only able to sleep before dawn. When she closed her eyes, Maudy had a strange dream.

Frightened, Maudy ran without direction. And strangely enough, every time Maudy went somewhere, she would be in the same place and still stare the same way.

Like this time. Maudy runs into a cotton candy stand. Maudy tried to hide among the crowd of children who were waiting in line to buy cotton candy of various colors. But like being able to detect Maudy, the woman also entered the queue while continuing to look at Maudy.

Maudy continued to run, while the foreign woman who had strangled her continued to chase behind.

In the dream Maudy finally arrived at a vast empty field. There's nothing there. So tired of Maudy also fell down because he could no longer run.

Looking back, Maudy saw the woman approaching. The long black dress that dangled to the ground with unraveling hair and a faint face, made Maudy cry and shiver in fear.

" Ampuuunnn.. aampuuunnn.., do not hurt Me. Stop please. I'm tired, this hurts.Please no longer..," said Maudy.

The woman stopped stepping right behind Maudy. His breath was heard hunting for omens if the woman was very angry. Realizing the woman's anger and fearing that she would be hurt again, Maudy asked.

" What do you want?, what should I do to stop chasing me...?" ask Maudy in despair.

" Leave him.." said the woman.

" Leave who...?" ask Maudy.

" Him..," said the woman.

" Yes, but who is he...?" maudy asked as she raised her head to look at the woman.

It was then that Maudy saw the woman's face clearly. In Maudy's vision the woman's sighting looks creepy. The woman brought her face closer to Maudy's and spoke once more.

" Leave him. She's mine. Mi... lik..ku...!" the woman said loudly to make Maudy close her ears because the woman's voice was buzzing loudly to make her ears hurt.

Maudy awoke from her sleep and covered her ears with her palms. Then the girl got up slowly and sat down.

Maudy was watching herself. It was then that his entire body was soaked in sweat as if he had just run a long distance. His breathing was too tight and he felt very tired.

" Oh my God, what the hell was that dream. It's such a huge serem..," Maudy muttered while shuddering.

" Freaky dreams, time can make my hair ruffled rich gini anyway..," murmured Maudy while nudging her hair with her fingers.

Then Maudy turned her pillow over and went back to lying down and sleeping.

The next day Maudy woke up with a painful body. Maudy also had a fever and it made the mother forbid him to go to school.

" Mama has video call with your homeroom teacher and told me about your condition. So you don't have to worry about being considered a truant" said Mama Maudy.

" Yes Ma..," said Maudy.

" Mama lives first. Mama made a deal with this guy at the store, '" said Mama Maudy as she peeked at the child's forehead.

" Yes Ma. But don't be long yes..," said Maudy.

" Basic spoiled. At least eleven o'clock Mama was home. What do you want Mama to bring you later...?" ask the Mama.

" Mie Aceh..," said Maudy briefly who was embraced by the Mama.

" Ok, Mama's leaving. Assalamualaikum.., "partner of Mama Maudy.

" Wa alaikumsalam..," said Maudy as he closed his eyes again.

But just for a moment closed his eyes, Maudy was surprised by the sound of his friends who came to visit.

" Duh is very noisy. It also just woke up again..," Maudy grumbled as she rubbed her eyes.

Maudy made her friends laugh.

" It's two and a half hours, son. Mama woke up from not waking up either. Tuh, his Aceh noodles Mama bought. Look, because it's not directly eaten so cold deh..," said Mama Maudy.

Maudy gasped in surprise and looked at her mother in disbelief.

" A half two in the afternoon Ma...?" ask Maudy.

" Yes believe. Now get up and eat, the baby is taking medicine" Mama Maudy said as she helped Maudy sit up.

When Maudy got up and straightened her hair back, it was a clear blackish color on her neck.

" Eh, Lo's neck why Mod...?" ask Dilla.

" Why what...?" maudy asked not to understand.

" Look at the girls, Maudy's neck is black, yeah," Maudy said, looking at four of his friends.

" yes. Lo abis what is Mod...?" ask four other friends.

" Don't do anything, ., ." said Maudy.

Mama Maudy also watched and touched the bruise on Maudy's neck. He frowned because he felt a bruise on the child's neck similar to a choking wound. The black color is clearly seen encircling Maudy's neck.

" This rich former giggles. Who's doing this, son...?!" mama Maudy asked in a panic to the surprise of everyone.

Maudy was stunned at the thought of her nightmare last night. He did not expect if the consequences of the dream carried over to the real world.
