10. Ranvier Returns

Ustadz Rahman smiled as he looked at Grandpa Randu and Ranvier. He also introduced Daeng Payau to the host.

" This is the friend I told you about this afternoon, sir. His name is Daeng Payau.," said Ustadz Rahman.

" Assalamualaikum Sir, introduce me Daeng Payau..," Daeng Payau said as he kissed Grandpa Randu's back hand in reverence.

When he saw Daeng Payau's attitude towards his Grandfather made the side of Ranvier's heart warm up. But his ego defeated his admiration until he still put a hostile face in front of Daeng Payau.

" Alaikumsalam. It's good to know you. I'm Randu and this is my grandson Ranvier.

Ranvier shook hands with Daeng Payau reluctantly. But when his palm came into contact with Daeng Payau's palm, Ranvier appeared to tiptoe in shock and then pulled his hand from Daeng Payau's grasp.

Ustadz Rahman who saw the incident just smiled knot. While Daeng Payau seemed relaxed to see Ranvier standing while holding his own hand with a paled face.

" Let's sit down, please" said Grandpa Randu breaking the silence that had been created for a moment.

" Thank you sir..," said Ustadz Rahman and Daeng Payau together.

" So, have you been able to solve Ranvier's problem...?" ask Grandpa Randu to the point.

" God willing can sir..," Daeng Payau said quickly.

" Oh yeah, how's it going...?" asked Grandpa Randu curiously.

" First we need a quiet place and not a lot of furniture so that it can freely move, sir..," said Daeng Payau.

" Oh, that's when you're calm. We can use the guest room. There is only a little furniture there. The same chair table can be moved if necessary," Grandpa Randu said.

Then Grandpa Randu asked Krishna to take care of everything Daeng Payau needed.

When all is ready, Daeng Payau also invites Ranvier to pray for congregation. Ustadz Rahman accompanied while Grandpa Randu and Krishna just watched near the door.

" Now you're ready Ranvier...?" daeng Payau asked after they finished their prayers.

" Yes Uncle..," said Ranvier steady.

Ranvier's answer made Daeng Payau smile. Then he glanced at ustadz Rahman and gave the code with a nod of the head.

Daeng Payau asked Ranvier to sit cross-legged in front of him. Ustadz Rahman sat behind Ranvier just in case Ranvier needed help later.

" Later you will follow all my commands. Ignore any other sounds, including your Grandfather or Ustadz Rahman's. You just have to focus on listening to my voice. Do you understand Ranvier...?" ask Daeng Payau.

" Yes..," said Ranvier.

" The strict Ranvier...!" snapped Daeng Payau to the surprise of Ranvier and Krishna.

In each place looks Grandpa Randu and ustadz Rahman who smile knots see how Daeng Payau treats Ranvier. It seems that they are happy when there is someone who can be assertive to Ranvier and quite make the teenager a little afraid.

" Yes Uncle...!" ranvier said loudly while upholding his body.

" Good, now we begin. Focus on thinking and closing your eyes. Maybe we can meet there, maybe not. But you don't have to worry, I'm still there to accompany you until the process is complete. Focus, pay attention to my voice." said Daeng Payau.

Ranvier nodded then followed Daeng Payau's direction.

For a moment Ranvier only saw a dark place, so dark that nothing was seen there. Suddenly a light came in. The light is soft yet quite dazzling. Ranvier walked slowly towards the arrival of the light.

The further Ranvier walked, the darker the place was slowly disappearing. Until now Ranvier is in a place that is foreign similar to the forest.

Ranvier circulated his gaze while admiring the place.

" Beautiful forest.," Ranvier muttered with a smile.

" right. A beautiful forest that misleads," Daeng Payau said to Ranvier's surprise.

" Street walking Ranvier. Don't look to the right or to the left again" Daeng Payau said.

" There's a big got in front of Uncle. Do I have to jump or choose the path next to her...?" ask Ranvier.

" Just jump. That's better.., '" Daeng Payau said.

" Ok..," said Ranvier while moving his body as if he was doing a small jump.

" Now you see what's in front of you Ranvier...?" ask Daeng Payau.

" Garden of flowers..," said Ranvier.

" You're sure it's Ranvier's flower garden...?" ask Daeng Payau.

Ranvier seemed to frown as if he wanted to convince his vision. Ranvier was surprised to realize that what he thought was a flower-filled garden was a pond containing hundreds of crocodiles. Which is surprising because the crocodile has an unusual color that is blue.

Apparently hundreds of crocodiles were on the surface of the lake. Their bodies are disguised with large lotus leaves that adorn the lake to glimpse a blue green lake similar to a blue flower garden.

" Where is Ranvier...?" ask Daeng Payau.

" I.. it's a pool of bu.. Crocodile blue Uncle..," said Ranvier nervously.

Ranvier's words surprised everyone except Daeng Payau. The man seemed to nod with a smile.

A moment later Ranvier appeared to swallow his saliva with difficulty when he realized he was on the edge of a lake filled with crocodiles. Ranvier's two legs seemed to be glued to the side of the lake without being able to move.

" Don't be afraid of Ranvier. Let's look across the lake" said Daeng Payau.

Ranvier follows Daeng Payau's lead. He tried to sharpen his vision and saw the figure of a little girl on the edge of the lake. The little girl who he knew as Arcana seemed to be engrossed in playing wooden twigs that he clapped many times on the surface of the lake.

Ranvier's eyes were rounded when he saw the consequences of Arcana's prank. Because after Arcana slapped the calm surface of the lake with a small twig in his hand, Ranvier saw the blue crocodiles wriggling and turned to look towards Arcana.

Ranvier rushed around the lake to get to Arcana. Ranvier grew anxious when he saw some large crocodiles seem to start approaching Arcana who was laughing happily.

When Ranvier arrived behind Arcana, it was when two large crocodiles jumped towards Arcana while opening their mouths wide as if scrambling to devour Arcana.

" Of the arcana...!" ranvier said loudly while pulling Arcana from the edge of the lake.

Arcana was surprised and then looked. He closed his eyes as the tip of the crocodile's mouth swept across his face. Luckily Ranvier had pulled the little girl's body until the crocodile's snout hit only the wind.

Arcana screamed hysterically when she escaped from the crocodile's safety. And the cry of Arcana has called the citizens to come to that place.

Seeing the position of Arcana who was in the arms of Ranvier and two crocodiles who almost pushed out of the lake, residents understood that Ranvier had saved Arcana.

They turned towards the lake and made a move to drive the two crocodiles back to the lake. Two large crocodiles whose bodies have been on the edge of the lake also appear to retreat regularly and then re-enter the lake. After that the residents also made movements as if they were installing a supernatural fence around the lake.

" Thank you Ranvier. You have saved Arcana.", said Damar who was suddenly present at the place.

" Together Mr. Damar.," said Ranvier while handing Arcana to Damar.

Damar also directly carried the still crying Arcana.

" So what do you want in return...?" ask Damar.

Ranvier looked silent then nodded when he heard Daeng Payau's direction.

" Don't bother me anymore.." pinta Ranvier to surprise Damar.
