32. Headache.



Aida just finished her shower. When he came out of the bathroom, his phone rang. Aida answered the call.


“Assalamualaikum,” says Aida.


“Waalaikumsalam. Da, please open the door!” exclaim Firas.


“Good, Sir.”


Aida immediately ran towards the gate and opened the fence lock. Firas put his car in the yard. Aida closed the gate.


“One-time answer phone. What are you again?” ask Firas when he gets out of the car.


“I just finished shower, Sir,” replied Aida.


Firas went inside the house, Aida followed Firas from behind.


“I'm hungry. What are you cooking?” firas asked as he walked towards the pavilion.


“Cast meatballs,” replied Aida who was still following Firas from behind.


“I want to eat,” says Firas.


“Good, Sir. I will prepare,” replied Aida.


Firas looked at the pavilion room that looked quiet.


“Maira where?” firas asked while circulating his gaze.


“Being asleep,”Aida replied.


Suddenly there was the sound of Adhan dzuhur.


“Father want to pray first or want to eat first?’ ask Aida.


“I pray first,” replied Firas.


Firas rolled up his shirt arm and went into the bathroom. Aida keeps the prayer mat for Firas prayer place. Shortly after, Firas came out of the bathroom.


“His face is here, Sir,” Aida said.


Firas went straight to the prayer mat that Aida had prepared and started praying. Aida also prayed dzuhur in her room. When Aida comes out of her room Aida sees Firas sleeping on the sofa. Slowly Aida headed for the pantry preparing lunch for Firas. After lunch was ready, Aida woke Firas up.


“Pak, wake! Lunch is ready,” Aida said slowly.


But Firas did not wake up. Aida wakes up Firas.


“Pak, wake! The food is ready,” Aida said in a slightly loud voice.


Firas awoke from his sleep.


“The meal is ready,” Aida.


Wake up and sit on the couch.


“My head hurts,” Firas replied.


“If you have a headache why not come here to go home?” ask Aida.


“If I go home my head gets sicker,” Firas replied.


Aida frowned.


“Why, Sir?” ask Aida.


“Let's just the story! Now that I'm so hungry,” Firas went from the sofa to the dining table.


Aida brought rice for Firas.


“So here is enough?” aida asked while showing the rice on the plate.


“Enough,” replied Firas.


Aida placed the plate in front of Firas. When Aida poured rice on her plate came Maira's voice calling out to her,


“Mama!”


“Yes, baby,” Aida put her plate on the table and walked up to Maira in the room.


Aida sat on the side of the bed.


“There's Om Firas, tuh,” says Aida.


“Ana, Mama?” ask Maira.


“There's more to eat,” replied Aida.


“Jenong,” Maira said as she raised both her hands.


Aida took Maira and brought her to the dinner table.


“Tuh, Om again eating,” Aida sitting in the dining chair while holding Maira.


“Eat Maira, Om hungry,” Firas said while eating voraciously.


“Mama, au mamam rich Om Pias,” says Maira.


“Iya,” Aida takes rice for Maira by using the same side dish as Firas which is a meat stew. Then Aida feeds Maira, the toddler eats voraciously.


After finishing eating Firas invited Aida to sit on the terrace of the pavilion. While Maira is busy watching her favorite cartoon movie. Aida sat next to Firas.


“There's something I want to talk to you about,” Firas said.


“About what, Sir?” ask Aida.


“About us,” replied Firas.
