27. Stay

Aida woke up from her sleep. His head was heavy because he was crying too much. There was a small hand that was holding her. Aida turned her head to the side, Maira was sleeping soundly while hugging her. Aida faces Maira, rubbing Maira's hair lovingly.

“Mamah dear Maira. until whenever Maira remains a son of Mamah,” said Aida.

Maira moves.

“Mama,” said Maira then she moved position and hugged the bolster next to her.

Suddenly Aida realized that she had not yet prayed ashar.

“Astafirullahaladzim, what time is it?” Aida looked for her phone lying on the nightstand.

On his cell phone time shows at half-four in the afternoon. He also slept long enough. He was sleeping after the dzuhur prayer. Aida got up from her sleep. On the sofa table he saw a plate of rice complete with side dishes and a glass of water. Suddenly his stomach was hungry.

“Sholat ashar first, just ate,” Aida went to the bathroom for ablution. Aida glazed over the bathroom glass, her face looking very messy. He immediately wudhu and then pray. Aida sat on a shofa and ate the food that Mother Poppy had prepared for her. The food was cold because it was exposed to ac in the room, but it still tasted good. Maybe because he was crying so draining a lot of energy. Aida finished all the food that was on the plate.

“Alhamdullilah,” said Aida after finishing food. Then Aida gulped down the water until it ran out. Aida brought her old dinner plate to the kitchen. When he came out of the room of Poppy's mother's house looked lonely. There was no one in the living room or dining room. Aida walked into the kitchen. In the kitchen there was Mpok Lani who was washing her hands.

“Eh, Non Aida is up?” ask Mpok Lani.

“Already, Mpok,” Aida replied.

Aida keeps the dishes in the sink. When Aida was about to wash the dishes immediately prevented by Mpok Lani.

“Dwant only, Non! Let Mpok do the dishes,” said Mpok Lani.

“Biarin, Mpok. All hand washing,” said Aida.

“Do not, Non! Non hand wash only,” prevent Mpok Lani.

Aida finally relented, washing her hands.

“Non, what would you like to drink? Let Mpok bikini,” said Mpok Lani.

“Not necessary, Mpok. Thank you,” replied Aida.

“Mpok just make sweet tea, huh? Let the headache decrease,” said Mpok Lani.

Where does Mpok Lani know if her head feels heavy? Maybe because Mpok Lani heard his slightly shady voice as a result of crying.

“Usually when people cry their head hurts,” said Mpok Lani as if reading his mind.

“Bby deh, Mpok,” Aida replied.

Mpok Lani started making sweet tea for him. Aida was sitting in a chair waiting for the sweet tea that was being made by Mpok Lani.

“Nih, Non. Drink while hot. Guaranteed headaches will be reduced,” said Mpok Lani.

“Thank you, Mpok,” said Aida.

“Sama-sama, Non,” replied Mpok Lani.

Aida brought tea to her room, but when she came out of the kitchen she met Poppy's mother.

“How are you feeling now?” ask Poppy's mother.

“It's been a bit quiet, Auntie,” Aida replied.

“Thank God,” says Mother Poppy.

“We sit there!” Poppy's mother takes Aida to the living room.

“Let's drink the tea first while it's still warm!” mother Poppy said.

Aida drank her tea little by little. It feels warm to his body. Suddenly I heard Maira's voice crying.

“Maira wakes up,” Aida put a cup on the table, but prevented by Mother Poppy.

“You've just continued drinking! Let Auntie take Maira,” said Ms. Poppy.

Mother Poppy rushed to the guest room. Shortly after, Poppy's mother came holding Maira who was crying.

“Tuh, Mommy's drinking again,” said Ms. Poppy.

Maira stalls both hands asking to be carried by Aida. Aida takes Maira from Mother Poppy's sling.

“Mama daliana? Mala cayi-cayi Mama,” says Maira.

“Mamah here again chat with Enin,” replied Aida while rubbing Maira's hair.

“Au peed,” says Maira.

“Please save the cup first to the kitchen. Maira wait here,” Aida said.

Aida put Maira on the sofa, then brought the cup to the kitchen. Maira followed Aida from behind. After putting the cup in the kitchen, Aida took Maira to the room. Maira peed all afternoon shower. Fortunately Aida brought Maira a change of clothes, so Maira could change with a clean shirt.

“Mamah wants to take a shower first. Maira want to wait for Mamah in the room or want to be outside?” ask Aida.

“Au cama Mama,” replied Maira.

“Yes already, wait here! Mamah shower first,” then Aida went to the bathroom.

Maira waited for her mom while ruffling the contents of her bag. Shortly after, Aida came out of the bathroom. He was shocked to see Maira ruffling the contents of the bag while playing powder. Maira's face and clothes were full of powder.

“Okay, Maira! Why do you want the powder?” ask Aida.

“We're out, yuk,” Aida took Maira out of the room.

When they came out of the room to meet Firas who had just returned home, Firas was still wearing the clothes that had been worn earlier this afternoon.

“Loh Maira, why is her face, hair and clothes all white?” ask Firas.

Maira immediately crouched behind her mama while hugging her mama's legs.

“So mainin powder,” replied Aida.

Firas smiled and rubbed Maira's head.

“Do not repeat again, yes! Later the powder quickly runs out,” said Firas.

Maira nodded her head.

“Sana play again,” says Firas.

“Cama Mama,” replied Maira.

“How come, same Mom? Usually play alone,” asked Firas.

“He's shy,” replied Aida while whispering.

Poppy's mother and Mr. Budi came out of her room and approached Maira.

“Eh, Grandson Enin has taken a shower,” said Ms. Poppy.

Maira crouched behind her mama's feet not daring to show herself.

“Loh why be embarrassed? Usually not the same Mamah” asked Ms. Poppy.

Maira answered with a headband.

“Why?” asked Poppy's mother in a quiet voice.

“Since mainin powder,” replied Aida.

“Oh.”

Poppy's mother held Maira's hand.

“Sini Enin clean,” said Ms. Poppy.

Maira followed and followed Poppy's mother. Poppy's mother took Maira to the living room and slowly cleaned the powder that was still attached.

“A, take a shower first! In a moment magrib, we pray magrib congregated,” said Ms. Poppy while cleaning the powder attached to Maira's hair.

“Ya, Mah,” Firas replied.

“I take a shower first,” by Firas.

“Iya, Sir.”

Firas headed to his room on the second floor.

Adzan magrib also reverberated. Pak Budi's family is getting ready for the congregational magrib prayer. After the completion of the magrib prayer they gathered at the dinner table for dinner together.

“Mah, Andri go first,” say goodbye Andri while kissing the hands of Mother Poppy and Mr. Budi.

“Neating first?” ask Poppy's mother.

“No, eat out,” replied Andri.

“Be careful the driving! Don't speed!” exclaim Mr. Budi.

“Iya, Dad. Assalamualaikum,” says Andri.

“Waalaikumsalam,” answer everything.

Andripun came out of his house.

“Mau mengapelin his girlfriend, tuh,” sahut Salfa.

“Yoga not here?” ask Mr. Budi.

“Before you come here,” replied Salfa while pouring rice onto the plate.

“You no one comes gapelin?” salfa asked Aida.

“I don't have a girlfriend, Tea,” Aida replied.

“Aida is busy making money for herself and Maira. Where to have time to date,” said Ms. Poppy.

“Isn't that so, Aida?” ask Poppy's mother.

“Eh yes, Aunt,” replied Aida with a forced smile.

“Again who would dare to approach Aida? There was Aa who was always beside him. Guys who approach Aida immediately find themselves looking at Aa,” said Salfa.

“Udah don't talk much when you're eating!” exclaim Mr. Budi.

Everyone shut up and continued eating.
