Traces of Love Joke

Traces of Love Joke
Resigning

Everything feels heavy for the joke. Losing a loved one requires sincerity that is easy to say but difficult to do.

Jenaka tried to sincerely accept his new destiny, namely as a widow at a relatively young age. Although it had been down a few days until it did not enter work, Jenaka finally strengthened himself to face the outside world.

Joke has decided that he will stop working at the Mandala company. In this company, there are too many memories of those who only make Jenaka more covered in grief in memory of his broken household.

Many are worried about the state of humor. His weight dropped dramatically in just a few days not going to work.

"What are you sick of, Jen?" asked Bu Yuli who was so attentive to Jenaka.

"Just a cold, Mom." Joke tries to hide her problems from colleagues.

"really? You're thin you know, Jen. You've been sick for a few days like this. Have you been to the doctor? Check it out, what pain?" Bu Yuli is still curious about the state of Joke. Usually, Joke is cheerful and willing to smile to anyone who greets her. Now, to smile also feels like a joke is too forcing yourself.

"I'm fine, Mom." Joke then pulled out an envelope containing her resignation letter. "Sorry Mom, I want to quit this company."

"Who? Wh why? You're not at home? Really, you must have something. Same story if you have something. Don't stop working with a hot head. Think carefully, Jen. Why the hell are you Jen?" Ms. Yuli obviously does not want to lose employees who make her work atmosphere cheerful. Jokes are also diligent and responsible workers. Who wants to lose an employee like a joke?

"I'm at home, Mom. Very comfortable even. I got an offer to work for another, more promising company, Mom. I need to grow, Mom. Mom wants to keep me here while at another company I'm offered a bigger salary?" Joke put on a smile to cover up her sadness.

"Yes too. If you have a better job, why not?"

"Thank you, Mom." Joke hugged Bu Yuli like hugging her own sister.

Joke can't be that easy to quit. There is a one month notice that He must live before resigning. That means Jenaka has to hold herself back for a month working at her ex-husband's company. Prepare at any time to meet Mandala.

Every morning, Jenaka delivered Juna who is now stationed in Jakarta. When you come home from work, sometimes Panca picks you up. Everyone around Joke doesn't let Joke come home and go to work alone.

Mandala never went to work again. He handed the company over to Genta and kept control of it from the hospital. Yes, Mandala is busy with Kinara treatment.

Joke is grateful for Mandala's absence at the office. It made him more able to control his heart. He does not want the defense that he made a break in an instant.

Mandalas

I haven't been to the office for a month. All the office work I did in the hospital, the rest I asked Genta to handle it. But there was one meeting that Genta could not represent. Important meetings with clients from abroad. I have to come straight to the office, handle it myself.

I say goodbye to Kinara, but Kinara doesn't want me to stay. He doesn't want to be away from me. He always felt lonely. There is no family to accompany but me and Mala. His stepfather only loved him for money.

How do I know that? I honestly have my suspicions about Kinara. Unlike Jenaka who never used my credit card, Kinara always made transactions with my credit card at various merchants that I did not know. I wonder what he bought.

Once I accidentally came and checked the store where he was shopping, it turned out that the store was an illegal credit card cash swipe. Kinara needs money for what?

I have to go to the office because the client is also on the way. I convinced Kinara that I'd be back soon. After I persuaded, Kinara finally wanted me to stay on condition that Mala be accompanied.

Meetings with clients conducted in the office run successfully. I decided to go back to my room to pick up some files before returning to the hospital.

Tok.dok...

Mina knocked on my door. "Why, Min?" ask me while tidying up some files I want to bring.

"This, Sir. It was all shared by Joke." Mina put the rice box on my desk.

"Shared? In what order?" I don't remember Joke's date of birth right now.

"Today's the last joke working at this company, sir. Cheers say goodbye, unfortunately Mr was again meeting." Mina's words surprised me and dropped the file I was holding.

"Jenaka resign? This day last? Is that really you?" I just can't believe it.

"Yes, Sir. Jenaka had submitted her resignation letter to HRD a month ago. Today is his last day here."

I still can't believe what Mina said. The joke will also go away from this company?

Oh Allah... I think at least I can still meet Joke in this office. At least I can still see his face even from afar.

I remembered the Joke saying, "I don't know until when I'm strong after Brother. Maybe when Big Brother is too far away for me to chase then I will stop running. Maybe I'll ride in another guy's car and no longer run after Brother's love? Who knows?!"

I don't want the joke to go, I have to stop it. Not until my step towards the door, my HP rang. Mala called me, she said Kinara's been coming back from non-stop nosebleeds for over an hour.

I'm back in the hospital immediately. I'm afraid Kinara's situation is deteriorating.

"Sir, Mother has been nosebleed since. It's been an hour, not long ago it stopped. Up to one plastic pack in his blood-stained tissue, all of you." Mala pointed to the plastic containing Kinara's used tissue.

I approached Kinara who was cowering weakly in bed. "Nara.." I can't speak anymore. I feel sorry for Kinara.

The treatment we did for almost a month was in vain. Kinara didn't make much progress. His health condition has declined drastically.

"I want you to heal, baby!"

Finally a decision I made. I'll take Kinara to Singapore for treatment.

Maybe I won't see a joke again, that's my toughest punishment. I can't leave Kinara even though my heart belongs to a joke. I will accompany Kinara, just like Kinara accompanied me when I was in trouble first.
